as far as i can guess you probably can't replace the battery on a phone whose shell is held together with glue AND whose screen is cracked and the screen replacement is like worth 4x the price of the phone probably but if i get a new phone i don't think i can bear to get one the ridiculous size they are now or without a 3.5mm jack and they don't have fairphone or pinephone or literally anything here in the us as far as i know so i don't think there is a single phone newer than this one that id want to have anyway. bro i hate living in an opensource wasteland like this get me fucking out of here

i was having trouble with cell phone addiction - first attempt was to get a network filter + block apps. but i'd just get bored and disable it. eventually I got a pinephone, but I just spent all day configuring it and trying to get performance tweakss etc. going. then I bought my current phone, with a 3 inch screen and a physical keyboard and no apps support, but now everything is web tech and i just look at social media in a browser w the phone really close to my face. Should I just kill myself? what the fuck is wrong with me?
