A wild Addison store has appeared!

Made the tea shop of one of the Pink Addison characters in Deltarune, who I headcanon to be named Target, running the store :)

I also headcanon all Pink Addisons to have an insane sweet tooth, no matter what their personality is like. Hold out a sugar cube and they'd peck it up like pigeons.

Y'know that one post where it's like 'Give characters slit pupils not to make them monstrous, but to make them dilate when excited like a cat'? Yeah that's part of my Addi designs now, they have slit pupils that expand and contract. Technically, they're camera lenses that shrink or expand to take more or less light in!

The meaning of 'religious' in this context is of worshipping the Angel, which is part of the world building I have set up for the rough Dark World ^-^

(Also, fun fact: Addison serial numbers are their assigned name + their hex code in my AU. Target is TF3AA4RDG1ET.)

RAHHHH I had so much fun making these!! Addispam and Big Shot Spamton came out a little janky but it's FINEEE... Kinda like to think that maybe Addispam / Addi-Sawyer was an apprentice to Pete in the AC universe!

And now that that's done...

You can send in OC's, you can send in your own versions of the main Addis that we see in game, Addisonas, the sky's the limit! I had a lot of fun drawing AC villagers!

My only requests / rules are:

A) that I'm able to get a description / image of your Addison and their personality, clothing they'd wear, profession, music taste, etc. If you want to, send in a request for what animal you'd want me to draw them as, as well! (For now I'm only doing animals that can be easily put onto an existing character model in AC, like a fox on a Wolf model or a buffalo on a Bull model)

B) That you only send in one or two characters at a time, please! Still new to doing requests, lol

One random fact about each and every one of my Addisons because I CAN:

-Target (Main Pink, jewellery maker, Cyber Shoes manager, tea shop owner)'s fav Light World flowers are bleeding hearts and foxgloves.

-Sample (Main Blue, Cyber Shoes II customer service) has insomnia. Only in his worst mental states can he actually sleep, but only very lightly.

-Banner (Main Orange, fashion designer and caterer) has a borderline unhealthy obsession with making Victorian-era clothes specifically for themself to put on display in their own closet. They can count on one hand the amount of outfits they've actually worn of that time period.

-Broadcast (Main Yellow, news / shopping channel host. Their only host.) is aromantic. YIPPEE.

-Spam (Addispam, email-man and ever-changing intern) learned how to make cars in his spare time by himself before he made it big. He never had actually used them, though - just kept them in an unused alleyway and mix-n-matched them in his spare time between delivering emails and internships.

-Click (Banner's boyfriend, baker and party caterer, Pink) lives in an attic above his bakery. It's small, but it feels like home to them. It has a stained glass window overlooking a highway on the other side of Main Street.

-Vice (Sample's co-worker / girlfriend, Service's Trojan, cashier at Cyber Shoes II, Orange) breaks into Sample's apartment at night to raid his fridge / watch TV for a while. She doesn't know that Sample is awake every time she does this and just lets her get away with it (they live in the same complex). She loves the nights that he makes stuff with leftovers for dinner.

-Snap (Broadcast's co-worker and best friend, camera-man, Green)'s favourite drink is a Shirley Temple. They've never been a fan of alcohol.

-Gamble (Mobile and Clickbait's father, casino owner, Blue), despite being an online advertisement, doesn't know much about how to actually use the Internet beyond posting his casino ads. Mobile tries to help him learn by giving him social media accounts, but he's basically like a grandpa using Facebook.

-Mobile (Clickbait’s elder sister, mobile advertiser [mainly in gambling / lottery / casino apps] and casino bartender, Yellow) prefers to go by Cooper / Couper, or Coop / Coup, her middle name - a reference to Martin Cooper, inventor of the mobile phone.

-Clickbait (Mobile's younger brother and Click's Trojan, clickbait advertiser [mainly making Couper's ads more flashy and clickable], casino bartender, Cyber Shoes II supervisor, gossip columnist, Pink)'s only 'true' friend is a young Werewerewire named Amp that he met in the Dark Web.

-Service (Manager / owner of Cyber Shoes II, Orange) has tapped Vice, Clickbait, and Sample's phones to monitor their activity on their phones, much to their displeasure.

-Hanahaki (placeholder name, Purple)'s favourite flowers are lavender and wisteria vines.

-Patient 0 (placeholder name, Pink) is one of the oldest Addisons to exist and hates being one. Not like Spamton and Sample do with just 'being a Darkner in general,' but actively hates the Addison species, and has days where he wants to destroy his casing to be unrecognizable as one... unfortunately he has enough damage to his endoskeleton as is without uncovering his entire inner skeleton.

Random headcanon but I think Addisons giving gifts to each other or to others is an extra so so special thing for them. The closest these little guys go to gifts, usually, is splitting the bill with someone on things. If they give you something WITH ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE, you have won the LOTTERY. Many a time, even GIVING the gift is a pain between Addis because the recipient will usually try to insist on paying them back for it somehow. ✨️Capitalism✨️

In any case, the love languages of my Addis and Spamton <3 (these apply to both platonic / familial relationships in their lives and romantic ones ^-^)

Sample: Acts of Service.

Sample is completely the kind of Addison that would clean someone's apartment and do a lot of little things for people he cares about to make their lives easier :3. Breakfast in bed, letting people vent their problems to him unconditionally, taking their shift on a job, everything for people he cares about (and occasionally even people he doesn't particularly care for because he's just nice </3)

Broadcast: Physical Touch.

I have ✨️angst✨️ lore with this guy, and touch is something that's pretty important to him. It grounds him in reality and helps him realise, either physically or mentally, 'hey, I'm still here, I'm still around.' He has. So many. Fidget toys in his apartment. But when he's around people, he's BIG on doing things with touch (being respectful of boundaries of course ^-^). Hand holding, hugs, peeping over someone's shoulder and resting his chin there to see what they're doing, etc. It all helps to ground himself and let both himself and those around him know that he's mentally in the present and alert and listening!

Target: Words of Affirmation.

Target's not usually the type to do stuff for people nor want things done for him, and DEFINITELY not one to touch or BE touched, but they're definitely someone who gives out and needs himself comforting words or advice ^-^ Although usually what they give and need tends to land on the border of Harsh Truth TM as well. He will NOT sugarcoat things when talking to people, but if they genuinely need comfort, they're great at giving that, being a welcomed ear to listen and an offerer of advice or just a simple 'you're doing great, and please never forget that.' Despite his more strict exterior, they do tend to be a little bit more on the unsure side of himself and their profession, especially after [REDACTED LORE], so every now and then comfort is something he needs as well. :]

Banner: Quality Time.

Epitome of 'why so friends? -the visiter.' Always loves spending quality time with people they care about and has ALWAYS made time for people :3 It doesn't matter whether it's quality time out on the town, time spent rambling to each other, or even just sitting with someone for a while silently, they're ALL about being around people and wanting to show they care by spending as much time as they can with others. Usually, they're one of the first people there to be a shoulder to cry on or to come to a meeting or to arrive at a party and the last to leave ^-^

Spamton: Also quality time!! That or giving gifts :3

After so long of being alone, whether metaphorically in his Big Shot era or physically in his downfall, it would take him a while to be able to warm up to being around people again long-term (especially the Addisons, yeesh...), but when he does... the first way he shows that he WANTS to be with people again is by spending time with them - or at the very least, not pushing them away and letting THEM be around HIM. In all honesty, contact with other people is probably something he misses but would never admit because of his pride.

As for gift-giving, he'd probably still have the same reservations about it that he did as an Addison, but it's a little more loose for him now. If you're patient enough you can buy stuff from Spamton's shop for almost nothing. If you press F1 in battle with him, he'll give you a little healing Spam, even in the Weird Route. In the past, he gave Noelle a little Pipis gift since she was the one reading his emails. I think gifts for him after his downfall are more like loose 'you do something for me, I do something for you,' and only - ONLY!!! - for people he cares a LOT about. Beyond the salesman is a guy who does gift people things, but many a time, it's disguised as a transaction rather than an actual 'gift.' At least that's how I interpret him in-game, correct me if I'm wrong, so that's how I've chosen to interpret him for headcanons as well :>

Scrolling on Insta reels can be both a blessing and a curse. Today it is a blessing because whatever this is looks like sensory heaven. It's like. Some sort of slime that acts like both a solid and a liquid it's insane. And it's so pretty augh.

Anyways projecting my love of weird satisfying sensory stuff onto T in my paranormal universe / Target in the Deltarune universe version of him, I think this kind of stuff is something he'd enjoy given how he has a lot of trouble with like. Textures and icky sensory overloads in general in both universes so seeing really satisfying stuff is probably somewhat therapeutic for him if that makes sense? Lol

And for the jewelry, gold for the earrings, please! I think I'll take a mock freeze ring for now, but I might be back with more money for a shell ring too... these are very pretty to look at :3

Of course! Blues have a water elemental tied to them, so they have Shell rings. Yellows have electricity elementals, and therefore they have Thunder rings. Oranges with fire and Flame rings, and Pinks with ice and Freeze rings. I thought most Darkners knew this, given how common our species is in the Cyber World? In any case, Blues, Yellows, and Oranges have a more obvious element associated with them than Pinks, hah!

As for the Rose rings, those are the plant elementals, belonging to Glitches. They technically aren't considered to be any colour by the system, even if their code is a mix of them (Purples are a mix of Blue and Pink code, Green with Yellow and Blue code, et cetera). Hence, they had a whole new element given to them by the world system. Quite fascinating, really.

And, of course, I'll put you down for some gold hoop earrings and the mock Freeze ring, they should be available for pickup in about a week, or we can deliver as well? And, thank you ever so much, dear customer, it makes me glad that they're aesthetically pleasing 💗

Oooh, if you have some hoop earrings I might buy a pair, I lost my last one months ago... I'm intrigued by the mock freeze rings as well! I think I'll take one too. Why are the powerful ones reserved for pinks?

Certainly! I'll put you down for some, do you prefer silver, gold, or something else for your earrings?

And those are just the ones we're created with, simple as that - unable to take them off! The magic version was created afterwards as a sort of weaker version that still has MOST of the available spells, used by any Darkner with a Ring-type weapon compatibility - we don't see many of those besides Addisons nowadays, do we? Personally, I think the rings are by far the most versatile of the weapon types~ Small, unsuspecting, easy to get a handle on, and can just be used for a touch of style to an outfit!

And, of course, the mocks were created for those who would just prefer a pretty trinket, and anyone who orders online instead of in-person (can't sell the magic ones without making sure the buyer is compatible with one, company policy!).

Besides, most people prefer to have them as just an accessory, rather than anything that could accidentally cause a small flurry to go through your house, hah! I'll gladly put you down for one of those as well, dear customer, unless one of the other mock elementals catches your eye? It would be pompous of me to only sell Freeze rings and not advertise Shell, Thunder, Rose, and Flame rings as well. Oh, where would I even begin... of course, his twin has likely seen more of what he's eaten over the years than I have, but among the top ones I've seen have been shoes, parts of his jacket when he's absent-minded, (eugh...), occasional muffin wrappers, even MOSS at one point.

Although the moss is probably more likely to be considered 'edible' by our standards, it was still just growing on a wall that he discreetly grabbed... he tries to act all proper and well-mannered, but my dear elder does have his... moments.

Say, I do love to gossip about my dear elders, but this typically isn't what the inquiries are used for here at my store. What possessed you to ask me about things in my life..? I do enjoy having a nice chat for a change on a Wednesday morning, though... so I'm not exactly discouraging you from it!
