the only correct way to react to news about how you might need to kiss your coworkers for a show is to immediately. lunge towards your coworker like you're about to kiss them
I fear Amanda and Angela became so aware of Amangela that they've decided to stir the pot, with Angela jokingly calling Amanda ugly repeatedly in the Smosh theatre vid!
ok so i was watching the video of the q&a/panel smosh did at vidcon and there was a question angela got asked about her dream role in a musical. her answer was lefou in beauty and the beast, which then caused a conversation of smosh hypothetically doing that show and what the cast would be. SO, i thought “what if they did shakespeare?” (particularly because it’s public domain so if they did hypothetically do this it wouldn’t cost money for them to secure rights). the obvious choice (in my opinion) would be a midsummer night’s dream, SO I HYPOTHETICALLY CAST IT.
puck - angela
bottom - spencer (when bottom has the horse head it’s just him as the chosen)
titania - amanda
oberon - either ian or anthony (or both tbh)
lysander - shayne
hermia - courtney
demetrius - chanse
helena - arasha
obviously this isn’t all the roles, this is just my opinion (as someone who enjoys shakespeare and smosh), and this is just for fun!
also call it smosh-peare: a midsummer night’s stream (because hypothetically this would be a stream like smosh: the sitcom)
I mean, I think i could watch Amanda and Tommy alone read a phone book and be entertained. But even if that weren't the case the Hunger Games video was WAY funnier than it had any right to be. One of the best, even. LONG LIVE MARCUS AND HIS FISH (and the cannon guy)
I’m a technical theater person for fun and volunteer hour reasons, one of the creatures that run around backstage making plays and musicals run, and I got my start by diving in the deep end by mic wrangling a musical.
Technical theater people are called crew, making up one third of the trifecta of cast (actors), crew (tech), and pit (orchestra for live music) that create musicals.
I do this at my school and have two years in a row. I’m a veteran of the mic crew for musicals.
