HGFC 1/144 P-Bandai Neo-China Mobile Fighter GF13-011NC "Dragon Gundam" 🐉🇨🇳
It's finally ready! Last year, I built the Gundam Maxter and Gundam Rose from Mobile Fighter G Gundam's 30th anniversary revival line by Yasuhiro Imagawa, and after months of waiting I was finally able to build the third release, Neo-China's Dragon Gundam.
In keeping with the other two kits, this one was very well designed, although it has a much larger parts count than the other two, both to allow for complete colour accuracy from the box, as well as to facilitate more flexible posing options. There were barely any colour correction stickers, aside from a few black ones for the vents on the arms and chest, and of course a metallic green for the eyes and the Core Booster's windshield. Just like the other kits, the Core Booster plugs into the back to form the suit's backpack.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is an incredibly posable kit, with carefully designed hips that allow it to mimic the human-like movements of the suits in the show. However it did also feel incredibly fragile at times, with parts like the feet and waist falling apart when I was attempting a pose. I'm unsure if this is down to a different matte topcoat that I was using for the build, or just due to the kit design itself, but it was very annoying.
Building on the hand options created for Rose and Maxter, the Dragon Gundam adds an extra flat-palmed left hand option for a martial arts look. I would've appreciated replacing the pointing open hand option grandfathered from the Rose kit with a right handed flat palm, but the full set of both open and closed fists is appreciable. It can be tricky to get them into the wrist socket in the dragon mouths though!
The kit also includes the same Action Base 5 parts, this time in a deep trans-green.
Tumblr media
Aside from the plethora of hand options, Dragon also comes with a full set of the Feilong Fangs. There are 12 half-staff pieces representing the stored weapons (4 in each shoulder and 4 on the backpack/core booster), and 6 full length pieces.
The Feilong Fangs come with two beam-spear effect pieces, and a single extra "tassel" effect, as well as 6 beam-flag effect parts to recreate the Feilong Flag. All of these are super well moulded, and are UV reactive with a very impressive glow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's also an extra ponytail piece, to create the "Benpatsu Tou" weapon, plugging directly into the end of the ponytail. The Dragon Claws are really impressively created with multiple layers to maintain colour separation, and there's a set of arm extensions to recreate the attack poses.
Tumblr media
I think the coolest inclusion in this kit, however, is the effects parts for the Dragon Gundam's Hyper Mode attack, "Shin Ryusei Kochouken". There's a set of butterfly wings that can be secured within the backpack, created in a really vibrant clear vinyl.
Tumblr media
There's also a disc shaped effect part, with special arm sections that clip with the Dragon Claws to form a frame for the text that appears during the anime scene where Sai Saici uses this attack after the Dragon Gundam's arms are destroyed. In the anime scene it translates to "True Meteor Butterfly Sword", but the effect disc unfortunately warps the text a little to make it fit.
Tumblr media
Nonetheless it looks really really cool, and I'm super disappointed that I don't have the space yet to display it like this.
Tumblr media
Overall I've been super impressed with the engineering and design on these HGs. Imagawa has done a great job updating the designs while also maintaining colour separation and poseability, and without compromising on the simple designs from the series. I'm looking forward to whenever the Bolt Gundam is released, and I'm super excited for the RG rendition of the Shining Gundam.

How many hrt's are in this Wikipedia page?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plug-in_electric_vehicle
Thanks for the ask, but lovingly I aint doing.... all that...
This is an 8500 word article of very big words and I am a human being, not a machine. That being said, I'm not outright denying this ask, but I'm not going to do 8500 words of tedious, painstaking work. This is a fun blog and my commitment to the bit is not worth weeks of work. Thanks for understanding <3
The first section, or summary of the article, has 60 counts of HRT
Plug-in electric vehicle
A plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) is any road vehicle that can utilize an external source of electricity (such as a wall socket that connects to the power grid) to store electrical energy within its onboard rechargeable battery packs, to power an electric motor and help propelling the wheels. PEV is a subset of electric vehicles, and includes all-electric/battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs).[5][6][7] Sales of the first series production plug-in electric vehicles began in December 2008 with the introduction of the plug-in hybrid BYD F3DM, and then with the all-electric Mitsubishi i-MiEV in July 2009, but global retail sales only gained traction after the introduction of the mass production all-electric Nissan Leaf and the plug-in hybrid Chevrolet Volt in December 2010.
HRT 11
Plug-in electric cars have several benefits compared to conventional internal combustion engine vehicles. All-electric vehicles have lower operating and maintenance costs, and produce little or no air pollution when under all-electric mode, thus (depending on the electricity source) reducing societal dependence on fossil fuels and significantly decreasing greenhouse gas emissions, but recharging takes longer time than refueling and is heavily reliant on sufficient charging infrastructures to remain operationally practical. Plug-in hybrid vehicles are a good in-between option that provides most of electric cars' benefits when they are operating in electric mode, though typically having shorter all-electric ranges, but have the auxiliary option of driving as a conventional hybrid vehicle when the battery is low, using its internal combustion engine (usually a gasoline engine) to alleviate the range anxiety that accompanies current electric cars.
HRT 16
Cumulative global sales of highway-legal plug-in electric passenger cars and light utility vehicles achieved the 1 million unit mark in September 2015,[8] 5 million in December 2018.[9] and the 10 million unit milestone in 2020.[10] Despite the rapid growth experienced, however, the stock of plug-in electric cars represented just 1% of all passengers vehicles on the world's roads by the end of 2020, of which pure electrics constituted two thirds.[11]
HRT 7
As of December 2023, the Tesla Model Y ranked as the world's top selling highway-capable plug-in electric car in history.[1] The Tesla Model 3 was the first electric car to achieve global sales of more than 1,000,000 units.[12][13] The BYD Song DM SUV series is the world's all-time best selling plug-in hybrid, with global sales over 1,050,000 units through December 2023.[14][15][16][17][18][19]
HRT 11
As of December 2021, China had the world's largest stock of highway legal plug-in electric passenger cars with 7.84 million units, representing 46% of the world's stock of plug-in cars.[20] Europe ranked next with about 5.6 million light-duty plug-in cars and vans at the end of 2021, accounting for around 32% of the global stock.[21][22][23] The U.S. cumulative sales totaled about 2.32 million plug-in cars through December 2021.[24] As of July 2021, Germany is the leading European country with cumulative sales of 1 million plug-in vehicles on the road,[25] and also has led the continent plug-in sales since 2019.[22][26] Norway has the highest market penetration per capita in the world,[27] and also achieved in 2021 the world's largest annual plug-in market share ever registered, 86.2% of new car sales.[28]

Carbon Steel Ceiling Anchor
The bolt is the part that contacts the plug and socket and is mostly made of hard brass and cast copper. The choice of the latch should be based on the different environment of the installed room, using waterproof, dustproof, or explosion-proof latch equipment.

Global Certification Systems for Power Sockets: Key Differences and Testing Focus
Tumblr media
Introduction
In today’s globalized market, power sockets are used in a wide variety of applications ranging from household appliances to industrial equipment. In order to ensure product safety, compliance, and market access, manufacturers must obtain relevant certifications in different countries and regions. However, certification requirements, testing standards, and regulatory focus vary widely between systems such as UL (USA), VDE and TUV (Germany), CCC (China), PSE (Japan), and KC (South Korea). Understanding the differences among these certification systems is critical for product development, export planning, and ensuring long-term reliability and safety.
1. UL Certification (United States)
Overview: UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is one of the most authoritative safety certification bodies in North America. UL certification focuses on electrical safety, fire prevention, and mechanical hazard prevention.
Testing Focus:
Dielectric strength test
Grounding resistance test
Temperature rise test under load
Flammability test of plastic components
Abnormal operation test
Example: For a household power socket with surge protection, UL requires that the internal metal parts withstand prolonged heating under overload conditions without degradation or safety risk.
2. VDE and TUV Certifications (Germany/Europe)
Overview: Both VDE and TUV certifications are recognized in Germany and throughout the EU. They are based on harmonized European standards (EN standards) and emphasize both electrical and mechanical safety.
Testing Focus:
Contact clearance and creepage distances
Endurance testing (e.g., 10,000 insertion/removal cycles)
Material insulation resistance
Heat resistance of housings
EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) in some product types
Example: A German-standard wall-mounted power socket must pass a 100N plug-in force test to ensure mechanical strength during repetitive use.
3. CCC Certification (China)
Overview: China Compulsory Certification (CCC) is a mandatory product certification system. CCC emphasizes safety, EMC compliance, and consistent product quality.
Testing Focus:
Grounding continuity and resistance
High voltage withstand
Fire resistance of enclosure materials
Electrical strength
Marking and user instructions
Example: A power socket for office use must pass a 2000V high-voltage test between live parts and ground to confirm dielectric strength.
4. PSE Certification (Japan)
Overview: PSE (Product Safety of Electrical Appliance & Materials) is regulated by Japan’s METI. Products are divided into “specified” and “non-specified” categories, each with different testing intensities.
Testing Focus:
Insulation resistance
Power cord flexibility and strength
Internal component flame retardancy
Leakage current test
Temperature cycling test
Example: For a multi-socket power strip with USB charging, PSE testing will validate USB output voltage stability and temperature rise under simultaneous full-load operation.
5. KC Certification (South Korea)
Overview: KC (Korea Certification) is managed by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS). It integrates safety and EMC requirements for consumer and industrial electrical products.
Testing Focus:
Dielectric strength
Heat resistance and fire testing of plastic components
Stability testing
Grounding resistance
Labeling and instruction compliance
Example: A Korean-certified industrial power socket needs to demonstrate structural stability and enclosure flame resistance even under prolonged high-load conditions.
6. Key Certification Differences Summary
Tumblr media
7. Additional Considerations for Global Certification
Plug types and standards: Different regions use different plug and socket types (e.g., Type A in the US, Type C/E/F in Europe). Certification includes verifying compatibility.
Voltage and frequency standards: 100V in Japan vs. 230V in Europe. Testing must reflect real-use scenarios.
Materials and environmental testing: Some certifications now include RoHS (restriction of hazardous substances), especially in Europe and Korea.
Product labeling and documentation: Proper markings, warning labels, and usage instructions are part of the test process.
Conclusion
Power socket manufacturers targeting global markets must understand and comply with the unique certification requirements of each region. UL focuses on fire and electrical safety; VDE and TUV emphasize mechanical and long-term reliability; CCC ensures consistency and safety; PSE requires thermal and insulation checks; KC demands comprehensive safety validation. By understanding these differences, companies can reduce certification costs, avoid compliance delays, and enhance product competitiveness.

China Travel Tips
Beijing | Beijing Food | Chengdu | Pandas | Jiuzhaigou | Leshan | Shanghai | Suzhou | Travel Tips
Flights
Flights to China can get pretty expensive.  You used to be able to fly direct from Boston to Beijing on Hainan Airlines for $700 on sale.  Now it's at least 2-3x that to fly with one stop.
From city to city we took flights for long distance (around $100) and high speed rails for shorter distance. E.g. we flew from Beijing to Chengdu and again to Shanghai.
The Trip.com site and app is pretty awesome for travel booking for foreigners. I accidentally booked train for the wrong date and customer service quickly refunded me for 2/3 of the cost. If you know Chinese, you could also use Ctrip.com.
Railway
The high speed rails in China is an engineering marvel and should not be missed.  We took the train from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou, Leshan. And also from Shanghai to Beijing. That train runst at 350km/h max, So even faster than the current speed of 300km/h for the Shanghai maglev.
To cross mountainous regions like around Jiuzhaigou, the train goes through tunnels that last for miles.  It's impressive what the Chinese were able to accomplish.   There's food and charging sockets on the train, just super convenient.
Be sure to allocate some time to get thru security. We had a few near misses for the train, and had to run for the train multiple times.
You could also book Railway using Wechat's Pay and Services option for railway tickets. Just be careful not to book ticket last minute: multiple times when I tried to book tickets the day-of, it canceled on me.
Or use the 12036 app, which I didn't get a chance to try.
Hotels
China offers a lot of hotel options, from very cheap to ridiculously expensive.  We generally went with about $100-150 per night for the 4 of us.
Tthe trickiest part about hotel booking in China is that most hotel only offers 2 people rooms, at most 3 for a family suite due to the one-child policy.  We had to try so hard to find rooms for the four of us. Airbnb is non-existent and the only apartment I booked told me to switch apartments.  Some options
On trip.com, you can search for 3 beds or 4 beds.
A few times we booked two double beds meant for 2 adults and slept 4 of us. The hotels didn't give us any trouble.
Some rooms allow you to add another bed.
Worse case, for 2 out of 7 hotels we stayed at, we booked two rooms, that sleep 2 each.
Packing light
I'm big fan of traveling light. For the 4 of us we used 3 carryons and a backpack each for most of the trip. Then in Shanghai we bought a bigger suitecase for all the clothes we made and bought. You can self-serve and wash clothes for most hotels we stayed at, just beware that most do not offer dryer so you'd have to hang clothes in your room to dry.
Most hotels ofter two-prong US plugs. But you'll need an adapter if your laptop has 3 prongs. Most hotels offer adapters.
Getting around & Essential Apps
Didi 滴滴 is a great app for ordering rides, and there are many types of cars to choose from.  It's often just 2-3 or 5 dollars for a short rides. Even for a 6 seater from hotel to train station lugging our big suitcase it was still only 80 yuan or $11.  We did hire a driver to take us to the Great Wall for the day, and that took 700 yuan or $100. Don't worry if you don't speak Chinese. Didi offers translation to text your drivers and you can input a lot of addresses in English. Though for hotels and shops sometime knowing the Chinese name is very helpful.
A great app for getting around is Amap 高德. It shows you detailed info for subway and even layout of stores within malls. It also offers restaurant reviews and I think ride hailing, though I haven't tried the latter.
Dianping is the app I used to use for restaurant recommendations. But recently it's just gotten very annoying and keeps wanting you to sign up. Since I don't have a Chinese phone number, I couldn't sign up.
Network, wifi, and VPN
If you're an Android user or use Google quite a bit for maps and other essentials, you'll quickly find that it's blocked in China by the great firewall. Instead, people use VPN to get around those restriction. A great choice is Mullvad VPN, for which you can select servers in Japan, Thailand or Singapore to connect to, and it worked really well in all the cities.
Google Fi is a great network as long as you don't go over your usage, which we discovered was 50G. After we were limited to lower, and that wasn't fun.
Other
China has one time zone, Beijing time, so in Shanghai or Beijing the sun rises at 7-ish in December, and set around 4:30, but in Chengdu it's more like 8-6.
Restaurants are open generally at 6am for breakfast in Beijing.  We ate at the hotel for much of our trip, usually decent with Chinese and American options.

Several common problems encountered during on-site installation of mobile phone signal jammers
The antenna equipment is not tightened
If the antenna equipment is not tightened, the temporary phenomenon that occurs is that the occurrence of some frequencies cannot be blocked. If this symptom occurs during on-site installation, please first check whether the antenna equipment is tightened. https://www.silencejammer.com/mobile-jammer-cell-phone-blocker
(1) Details of tightening the antenna: Since the antenna is composed of two parts of the activity (1 is the short connector; 2 is the antenna pole), you must hold the lower part of the antenna short connector tightly during installation. Tighten and screw on.
(2) Wrong antenna insertion: Each product currently has 4 wireless antennas, namely 800MHZ (China Unicom); 900MHZ (Mobile); 1800MHZ (Big Smartphone); 1900MHZ (Little Smart Phone) 4 types of wireless antennas, each antenna It must be consistent with the corresponding frequency socket on the server, and cannot be plugged in wrongly.
The best height-to-width ratio for installation is 1.7---1.8 meters long.
This distance is the height of the cell phone jammer from the ground. This distance has a better shielding effect in the classroom.
The power plug connector has poor contact.
When connecting the cell phone signal jammer to the power plug, be sure to find the matching slot and do not force rough operation. In addition, if the power supply contact is poor at the installation site, the symptom is: the indicator light (green light) of the mobile phone signal jammer does not light up. To solve the problem of poor contact of the power plug on site: it is recommended to add a gasket to the power supply connector.
The switch power light does not light up:
There may be three reasons for this situation:
(1) Poor contact of the power plug
(2) The diode indicator light is broken
(3) The power supply itself is broken. The criterion for identification is whether the green light of the power supply is on. If it is not on, the power supply itself is broken.

Case Study: A European hotel project required CE-certified sockets to ensure legal sales and use within the EU.
1.3 CCC Certification (China)
CCC (China Compulsory Certification) is a mandatory product certification system in China, covering various product categories.
Scope of Application: Chinese market.
Core Requirements:Electrical Safety: Compliance with GB standards to ensure socket stability under extreme conditions (e.g., high temperature, humidity).Durability: Sockets must withstand over 5,000 plugging and unplugging cycles.Child Safety: Sockets must feature safety shutters.
Case Study: A Chinese real estate developer required all sockets to be CCC-certified to meet national mandatory standards.
1.4 RoHS Certification (Global)
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) is an international standard restricting hazardous substances.
Scope of Application: Global markets, especially the EU.
Core Requirements:Restricts six hazardous substances: Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr6+), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB), and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE).Eco-Friendly Materials: Uses halogen-free and lead-free materials.
Case Study: A global hotel chain required all sockets to comply with RoHS standards to reflect its environmental commitment.
Chapter 2: Key Technical Details in Safety Design
2.1 Fire Resistance Design
Flame-Retardant Materials: Uses UL94 V-0 rated materials to prevent combustion under high temperatures.
Overheat Protection: Built-in temperature sensors automatically cut off power when temperatures exceed safe thresholds.
Case Study: A high-end office building project used flame-retardant sockets, successfully passing fire safety inspections.
2.2 Electric Shock Protection Design
Insulation Materials: Uses high-insulation materials to prevent current leakage.
Safety Shutters: Prevents children from inserting objects, reducing the risk of electric shock.
Grounding Protection: Ensures proper grounding to prevent electric leakage accidents.
Case Study: A hospital project adopted sockets with safety shutters, significantly reducing the risk of child electric shocks.
2.3 Lightning Strike Protection Design
Surge Protection: Built-in surge protectors (SPDs) prevent damage from lightning strikes or voltage fluctuations.
Case Study: A data center project used surge-protected sockets, effectively safeguarding server equipment.
Chapter 3: Compliance Challenges and Solutions

Appliances like blenders and toasters use polarized cords
It follows strict specifications during manufacturing process, regulating size and shape of wire, and making certain the current and voltage ratings are balanced. Appliances like blenders and toasters use polarized cords because they do not have internal safety switches. There are polarized, non-polarized, and grounded types of AC power cord. Also, they are designed to plug into the sockets in either way. This guarantees the electrical poles are properly oriented. The cords have a male and female ends. They are commonly seen in computers, laptops, household appliances, power tools, and lighting. Such is possible because the neutral and live wires are connected in random. An AC power cord uses alternating electric current which has periodic reversal of directions.
The prongs to their plug ends are similar in shape and size. In using a cord, it is best to read the safety tips included in the instruction manual that comes in every device or appliance bought. They have plug ends of polarized and non-polarized. The cords are designed like all other cords-its plug end indicates different safety features and types. Meanwhile, the grounded cords are a combination of both the polarized and non-polarized. To reduce the risk of injury China Rubber Extension Cable suppliers or death by electric shock, there are plugs and socket systems that incorporate different safety features. The first power cords were hardwired to Edison lamp holders. Besides the AC power cord, power plugs and sockets also vary. It is seen in all equipment or appliances that draw huge quantity of electricity to operate or any devices that have sensitive electronic circuitry needing more safety. Primarily manufactured from thin copper wire enclosed in an insulating plastic and rubber, AC cords have prong contacts made of either brass or steel and plated with zinc, tin, or nickel.
AC power cords are connected to plugs and sockets to connect an electrically-operated device to a power supply. Its plug end is designed to enter a socket in a one-way only. They are used for retail, electronic, commercial, industrial, and residential applications. They were used both for household or industrial equipment or lighting. On the other hand, non-polarized cord plugs are the opposite. It features a third prong or a grounding rod to divert the stray voltage into the ground, away from users and the equipment from which the cord is connected. Harvey Hubbell was the inventors of two-prong electrical cord and plug.
The three-prong grounded cords and polarized cords were invented later to incorporate greater safety in electrical equipment. The female end attaches to electrical appliances directly while the male connects to an electrical power socket.. His designed was adopted into widespread use since. The sockets are designed to accept matching plugs only and reject all others. Thus, the grounded AC power cord is the highest-rated for safety.
