Welp one step closer to seriously considering getting into burlesque & drag as a hobby
#🎃 Cryptid sighting#Just got back from a Haunted Mansion themed cabaret/burlesque show (2nd year & sounds like they’re already planning for next year! :D)#& thinking about being part of something like that - it just scratches an itch ig???#Same with our local drag shows- I already have some drag king ideas rattling around in my skull. TBH drag is the bigger pull#The whole sexiness aspect doesn’t do anything for me besides being kinda cute & cheeky (& seems optional)#But it’s more the creativity + body positivity + humor + feel good energy that- I dunno - I’d love to create in that sphere#Plus it seems like most of the shows I go to locally are filled w/queer & neurodivergent performers which feels very welcoming#I don’t have the time or energy for ANOTHER hobby anytime soon. But *shrug* never say never I suppose
