My mom got me some knockoff Pokémon figures for Easter! They’re so funny! Imma post my faves (CW contains what may be considered a caricature):

1) Zorua! My poor baby there’s no fixing this

2) Poliwag! So goofy

3) Jynx! Who’s decision was it to colour in just the chest and controversial original blackface colour? (NOTE: blackface is by no means funny. What I’m laughing at is the obliviousness of this decision)

4) Cacnea! They put its face on upside down

5) Sylveon! No idea what went wrong here

this is my heartgold team from my most recent playthrough! it’s intended to be a “forever” save that won’t be reset over. years ago my original hg cart was stolen, so when i bought a new copy off ebay (before the prices jumped lol), i figured instead of playing through with my old team again, i’d do a slightly different team that reflected my current pokemon preferences as opposed to what 10 y/o me picked.

they were really fun to play with! this is their hall of fame debut from back in 2021 (and their condition before challenging the indigo league + names) :]

kaleidos (ho-oh) wasn’t added to my team until postgame. only then did i realize that having a legendary on your main team is actually pretty fun. plus their access to fly is handy

every so often i pick up the game again to go for another completion goal, and most recently i got the shiny leaf crowns on all of them <33

also i didn’t realize until recently that the shiny leaf mechanic wasn’t common knowledge. then again the game barely alludes to it (if at all), but here’s a serebii link about it: https://www.serebii.net/heartgoldsoulsilver/shinyleaf.shtml

anyway yeah haha i love my babies… i’m looking forward to reaching more goals for them like becoming pokeathlon medalists, and getting a bunch of ribbons on them!
