Started playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky!

I was digging through the photos on my phone and came across some great pokemon drawings i did a few years ago, so I figured I'd share them here and y'all can see why my preferred medium is photoshop:

So this Au still needs a name, BUT

I have figured out what Most of the pokemon evolved from! It only took uh, lemme look at a clock, a week or three!

For those not interested in clicking a link, it's a pokemon/dc crossover but pokemon is straight up just a Gotham thing. Like, the flora and fauna and everything else have become corrupted/ mutated/ adapted, etc into strange creatures with stranger abilities thanks to the chemicals, magic, death pits, curses, and everything else all mixing together.

So anyway, have a list of what each pokemon originally were before Gotham got a hold of them. Some things brought into Gotham (such as via zoos, museums, or rogues or whatever) and others always there. Issei Hyoudou-Pokemon Breeder and Caretaker Profile

Issei Hyoudou-In the Pokémon world, Issei Hyoudou was your normal kid growing up. Well, he was still quite the pervert. But also loved playing with Pokémon. However, unlike his peers, he did not decide to go on a journey as soon as he turned 10. Instead, he chose to get a complete education. He had decided from a young age that he would be a Breeder and Caretaker, helping take care of and raise pokemon all around the world. As a result, he was more prepared to travel on his own compared to others who recklessly set off at age 10.

While not competing in gym battles and Leagues, Issei does have several of his own pokemon for battle and to help with his work taking care of Pokemon.

Arcanine-Licks: Issei’s first Pokemon ever. In fact, he raised him from an egg laid by his dad’s Mighteyena. He named him Licks because that was his favorite thing to do and it’s a trait that has remained ever since. This companion often carries Issei around, sometimes picking him up and throwing him onto his back just for the fun of it and he’s certainly great for getting to places in emergencies. His favorite activity, being given a bath.

Gible-Bova: Bova is a special case. Long story short, Issei helped out a very powerful wild Garchomp that ruled a mountain range and was known as Tannin. Issei somehow impressed the youngest son enough that it followed him all the way to the foot of the mountain. He’s always eager to battle, especially if he thinks someone is insulting him or Issei or his other Pokemon.

Joltik-Antenna: This little guy was a rescue. While working part time at a Pokemon center, he came across an injured Joltik. He brought it in and took care of the guy, bringing it back to full health. Issei tried to figure out where he came from, but there weren’t any clues. Plus he liked staying in Issei’s hair, so Issei kept him. He decided to call him Antenna because he liked to be in Issei’s hair and sometimes uses his static to make the hair around him stand up even more.

i like your opinion on mudkip being a starter but i think it might be piplup because empoleon sounds like napoleon and napoleon was french

yeah that's why i said that in the post lmao

if i had to pick a gen4 starter to be kalosian, it would be piplup bc of its final evolution, but who knows.

but i couldn't figure out which other plant starter made sense and i decided i liked turtwig the best so i went with mudkip in the end

i'm also honestly not sure how they could make empoleon frencher honestly. like what kind of alternate form would they even make up for it.
