Vandermatthews modern technology AUs for the extremely lovely @roamingtigress
Dutch is terrible with tech. Obviously. On the occasions that he has to use a computer he ends up furious
Dutch uses a record player rather than spotify etc, Hosea laughs and calls him a hipster but secretly likes dancing with Dutch to old records late at night
Dutch's GPS once sent him 2 hours out of the way and he threw it out of the window. When they travel he buys a paper guidebook with actual maps.
Arthur buys Hosea a Kindle and loads it up with trashy detective novels
Hosea loves Postmates, he still considers the fact that he can order food via an app and have it delivered some form witchcraft
Dutch, unsurprisingly, doesn't understand the app and refuses to download it so he keeps having to ask Hosea to order 'some of those fried bready thing from the Chinese place'
Before they go on a trip to Mexico Hosea takes a course of Spanish lessons online and Dutch thinks he's having an affair and keeps listening in at the door
Hosea has an Instagram, mostly so he can comment 'lovely!!!!!' on Arthur's photos of flowers and wild animals. He also posts a few photos of him and Dutch on there (using the classic dad selfie angle ofc)
They both call John whenever they want to talk to him and he's like 'Jesus, send me a text'

Releasing Control Part 2 • D
***pt 1 link***
I was useless at work. Completely, utterly, pathetically useless.
Every time I tried to focus, my mind dragged me back to last night—his hands pinning me down, his mouth wrecking me, the way he fucked me like he owned me. My body still ached, my thighs still trembled if I moved too fast, and yet I needed more. Desperately.
Then, mid-afternoon, my phone buzzed.
Him: “Still sore?”
I crossed my legs under my desk, biting my lip.
“A little.” I admitted. “Thinking about you all day, though.”
His response came fast.
“Good” he replied. “I want to see you tonight.”
I exhaled sharply, gripping my phone.
“What time?” I asked.
Instead of answering, he simply took control—arranging everything before I could even think to hesitate. By the time my shift ended, he had already sent an Uber. The entire ride, my thighs pressed together, desperate for relief, my fingers twitching in my lap as I fought the urge to slip them between my legs. Every bump in the road sent sparks of need straight to my core.
Then, just as I was drowning in anticipation, my phone vibrated again.
He had Postmated Gatorade, snacks, and ice cream. No condoms. He knew exactly how I liked it.
My stomach clenched. My breath caught. My pulse hammered against my skin.
When the car pulled up, he was already at the door, leaning against the frame, arms crossed. That same devilish smirk. That same dark, knowing gaze that stripped me bare before I even stepped inside.
I didn’t say a word. Neither did he.
Because within minutes, our hands were tangled in each other’s hair, our mouths crashing together, our bodies pressing tight like we were starving. Somewhere between the front door and his bedroom, my dress was gone. His shirt was off. I was on my back, and his fingers were already tracing the wet mess between my thighs.
“I’ve been thinking about this all day,” he murmured, voice thick with amusement as he slid two fingers inside me, slow and deep.
I gasped, arching into him. “Me too,” I admitted breathlessly.
His lips curled into a smirk as he dragged his fingers out of me and sucked them into his mouth. “You taste even better when you’ve been desperate all day.”
My entire body clenched.
“What do you want, baby?” he asked knowing the answer, lips ghosting over my throat, his cock hard against my stomach.
I didn’t need to think. The words fired out of me, raw and needy.
“You. I need you. I need you between my legs and licking me.”
His eyes flashed, and he grinned, slow and predatory. “So polite tonight.”
Then he was between my thighs, spreading me open, and devouring me.
Three orgasms later, I was panting, trembling, gripping his hair like I needed him to keep me grounded. But all I could think about was his pleasure—his cock, rock hard and aching, his body tensed with restraint.
“I want to play with you,” I pleaded, sliding down between his legs, my fingers trailing down his stomach.
His breath hitched as I wrapped a hand around his cock, teasing my tongue along the tip, tasting myself on him.
He groaned—a deep, primal sound that sent shivers down my spine.
“If you don’t stop that,” he warned, voice ragged, “I’m going to shove myself inside you.”
I smirked, dragging my tongue slowly down his shaft, then lower, teasing the sensitive spot between his thighs. My hands cradled his balls, my lips pressing featherlight kisses along his length, deliberately keeping the pace agonizing.
His entire body tensed beneath me. His fingers dug into the sheets. His breath came out in short, shaky gasps.
“You’re teasing me,” he accused, voice strained.
“Of course I am,” I purred, swirling my tongue around his tip. “You deserve it.”
A guttural growl tore from his throat.
In an instant, his hands were on me, dragging me up his body, flipping me onto my back. But just as he lined himself up, just as he was about to take back control—
I stopped him.
I grabbed his hair, straddled his waist, and pushed him flat against the bed. His eyes flickered with surprise, then darkened with understanding.
I leaned down, pressing his face between my tits, rolling my hips against his cock. His breath was hot against my skin, his hands gripping my thighs as he let me take over. The shift was instant—he knew it, and I knew it. He had lost his power.
I tangled my fingers in his hair, tugging just enough to make him look up at me. His eyes were glazed, pupils blown wide, lips parted as if he were waiting for permission to breathe.
"Feels good, doesn't it?" I mocked, my voice dripping with amusement as I kept him nestled between my breasts, rolling my hips in slow, deliberate circles.
His response was muffled, desperate. "Feels so good, ma’am."
That was all I needed to hear. My rhythm stayed steady, just slow enough to torture him, just deep enough to make him whimper. His hands clutched at my thighs, but I could feel his restraint, the way he ached to hold onto control even as I took it from him.
I ran my nails down his chest, tracing over his flushed skin as I whispered, "You're being such a good boy for me."
His entire body shuddered.
I didn’t stop. I didn’t let him stop. I guided his mouth back to my tits, tangling my fingers in his hair as I fed him more praise, more control wrapped in softness.
"Do you want to cum for me?" I purred, leaning down to nip at his ear.
He let out a desperate groan, his voice barely more than a breath. "Yes—please—Mommy—"
"Good." I smirked, rocking my hips harder, feeling his cock twitch inside me. "Then I want you to cum when I count down. You think you can do that for me, baby?"
His head tipped back against the pillow, his throat exposed, his entire body trembling beneath me. He already looked wrecked, but this? This was going to break him.
"Yes," he choked out, voice shaking. "Yes, please—"
I started slow.
"Ten."
My hands dragged down his chest, my hips grinding down, taking him *deep.*
"Nine."
His breath stuttered, hands clutching the sheets.
"Eight."
His thighs tensed beneath me, his eyes fluttering shut, his body bracing.
"Seven."
He let out a shaky gasp, hips jerking up, desperate for more.
"Six."
His hands moved to my hips, gripping tight, his entire body *wired.*
"Five."
A broken moan.
"Four."
He was shaking.
"Three."
Muffled curses.
"Two."
His voice cracked—"Please, please—"
"One."
He came undone.
His body locked up, back arching, head thrown back as he spilled inside me, his breath catching on the wrecked, broken sounds tearing from his throat. I rode him through it, milking every last drop, feeling him pulse inside me, his whimpers turning to soft, choked moans as he thanked me between gasps.
I kissed his forehead, feeling his pulse hammering beneath my lips. He was spent, panting, shaking, eyes hazy and unfocused.
But I wasn’t done.
I was still on top. He was still rock hard.
I leaned in, lips against his ear.
"Not yet," I whispered, voice drenched in promise.
I kissed the corner of his mouth, feeling his body twitch beneath me.
"I have more I need to get out of you."

Uber (and ostensibly Lyft) are unique in this though, in that there will always be interested parties waiting for autonomous vehicles to get to a point where the rideshare apps don't actually have to pay drivers, at which point it will print money. When I did rideshare I always put a bit of it in stocks so I'd get paid if I was still driving when I got replaced. Ended up telling them to fuck off way sooner but that's another story.
I'd say once Tesla gets closer they'll get started cozying up with Musk. Anyone else getting subsidies for this sort of thing will also be contenders.
Doordash and Postmates are probably fucked though. Spark can choke. Shipt pays well though. I like moonlighting for Shipt.
As for streaming, too many baskets, not enough eggs. Such is life. They'll fix it or die.

Top Local B2C Shipping Services You Can Trust Near You
In today’s fast-paced e-commerce environment, B2C delivery plays a critical role in building strong customer relationships. Whether you’re a small business owner or a large retailer, finding reliable B2C shipping near me is essential for timely and efficient deliveries. Customers expect fast, accurate, and safe delivery of their products — and businesses that meet these expectations stand out in the competitive marketplace.
If you're looking to improve your logistics and impress your customers, choosing the right local shipping service is the first step. Let’s explore how B2C shipping works, why it’s important, and which local services you can trust to handle your delivery needs.
What is B2C Shipping?
B2C shipping refers to the delivery process where businesses ship goods directly to consumers, bypassing other businesses or intermediaries. The "B2C" stands for "business-to-consumer," a model that dominates online retail, food delivery, and service industries today.
When customers search for B2C shipping near me, they are typically looking for services that offer:
Quick delivery times
Real-time tracking
Safe handling of packages
Affordable shipping rates
Excellent customer service
Good B2C delivery enhances customer satisfaction, builds brand loyalty, and drives repeat business — all essential for long-term success.
Why Local B2C Shipping Matters
Choosing a local shipping provider for B2C delivery brings several advantages:
Faster Delivery Times Local services can often deliver on the same day or next day, meeting customer expectations for speed.
Cost-Effectiveness Shorter distances mean lower transportation costs, allowing businesses to offer free or discounted shipping options.
Better Communication Local services provide better support and more personalized customer service compared to national or international couriers.
Flexibility Local providers can adapt to last-minute changes, special delivery requirements, and customized logistics solutions.
When customers search for B2C shipping near me, they expect not just speed but also reliability and trustworthiness.
Top Qualities to Look for in Local B2C Shipping Services
Before choosing a local shipping partner, ensure they offer:
Real-Time Tracking Customers today expect to know where their package is at every moment. Choose a provider that offers live tracking updates.
Affordable Pricing Hidden fees can damage customer trust. Transparent pricing is a must.
Reliable Delivery Rates A high on-time delivery percentage shows professionalism and efficiency.
Package Security Safe handling of products builds trust, especially for fragile or high-value items.
Responsive Customer Service If something goes wrong, customers appreciate quick and empathetic resolutions.
The best B2C shipping near me services meet all these criteria and help businesses maintain a high standard of B2C delivery.
Recommended Local B2C Shipping Services
Although specific providers may vary depending on your location, here are some commonly trusted options many businesses rely on:
1. Local Courier Companies
Many cities have local courier networks specializing in B2C delivery. These companies offer same-day services, personalized tracking, and excellent flexibility.
2. Regional 3PL Providers
Third-party logistics (3PL) providers that operate regionally often combine warehousing with B2C shipping solutions. They handle inventory management and quick dispatch.
3. Postal Service Options
Many national postal services offer localized B2C delivery solutions, often with special rates for businesses.
4. Gig Economy Delivery Platforms
Apps like UberEats and Postmates have expanded to package delivery services. While mainly used for food, many local businesses are now using these platforms for fast shipping options.
When you search for B2C shipping near me, make sure to compare services based on reviews, pricing, delivery speed, and customer support.
How to Optimize Your B2C Delivery Strategy
Choosing a good shipping provider is important, but managing the shipping process effectively is equally crucial. Here's how you can enhance your B2C delivery operations:
Offer Multiple Delivery Options: Let customers choose between express and standard shipping.
Communicate Clearly: Provide tracking numbers and clear estimated delivery times.
Prepare for Returns: Easy return options improve customer satisfaction.
Use Automation: Automate shipping notifications and updates to keep customers informed.
Partnering with a reliable B2C shipping near me service helps you deliver on promises and exceed customer expectations.
Conclusion
In 2025, customers are demanding faster, more reliable, and transparent shipping experiences. Finding trusted B2C shipping near me is no longer optional — it’s a necessity. By choosing the right local B2C delivery service and optimizing your shipping operations, you can boost customer satisfaction, increase repeat purchases, and grow your business stronger than ever.
Remember: in the world of e-commerce and retail, delivery is the last impression you leave on a customer. Make it count!

Basically it’s an operation run out of a professional kitchen that only does orders for food delivery apps like DoorDash or Postmates, and they can pose as being multiple restaurants to appeal to a wider audience, but while the menus may be different, all the food is made in the same place. (Hence why a vegan restaurant might accidentally give someone chicken) There are also regular restaurants that will create a “ghost” restaurant just to serve a specific section of their menu.
Ghost kitchens suck. I ordered from a supposedly vegan restaurant because I was in the mood for some orange tofu and they sent me orange chicken. Like it’s fine for me because I’m not vegan but if you advertise yourself as a vegan restaurant and send someone chicken because you can’t keep your two dozen different fake restaraunts straight I think that may be an issue.

LOS ANGELES, CA— In a shocking revelation that has left both fans and forensic Instagram analysts baffled, former Danity Kane singer and professional manifestation coach Aubrey O’Day insists she has been living in Bali for years. However, a growing body of evidence—including GPS data, delivery app records, and a blurry reflection of an L.A. Arby’s in her sunglasses—suggests otherwise. O’Day, known for her highly curated online presence, has spent the past year posting a never-ending stream of breathtaking Bali sunsets, peaceful jungle retreats, and deep spiritual captions like “Rebirthing my soul under the moonlight of the Eastern Hemisphere 💫✨”. But experts claim these images are nothing more than an elaborate illusion crafted within the confines of a one-bedroom Glendale apartment. “She’s Not in Bali. She’s in Burbank.” According to digital forensic analyst Dr. Mitchell Langston, O’Day’s posts contain several telltale signs of Photoshop abuse. “We first became suspicious when she uploaded a photo of herself ‘meditating by the ocean’ that included an identical stock image of a wave used in a 2017 Microsoft PowerPoint template,” said Langston, who led the team investigating her alleged tropical relocation. “Then, we noticed that in her ‘Bali jungle retreat’ photos, some of the palm trees were slightly pixelated—almost as if they were being rendered by an outdated version of Adobe After Effects.” A deeper dive into her Instagram metadata showed geotags consistently pinging from within a five-mile radius of a Ralphs grocery store in Los Angeles. “Unless Bali recently added a ‘La Cienega Boulevard’ as a tourist attraction, something isn’t adding up,” Langston confirmed. Eyewitnesses corroborate these findings. “I saw her taking out her trash just last week,” said her neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous. “She was wearing a silk robe with ‘Bali’ written on the back, but I could hear her arguing with her Wi-Fi provider about why her bill was still registered to an L.A. address.” The Investigation: When Reality Meets ‘Reality’ O’Day’s carefully curated content began to unravel last week when she accidentally went live on Instagram before setting up her signature backdrop. For 12 gut-wrenching seconds, followers saw what appeared to be an unfinished studio apartment filled with half-eaten Postmates bags, an unassembled IKEA bookshelf, and a massive green screen precariously taped to the wall. “My third eye told me something was off,” said longtime fan Jessica Ramirez. “Her photos always looked… too perfect. Like, her selfies in Bali had suspiciously consistent lighting—almost as if they were taken in the same room, under the same ring light, at the same angle every time.” Further suspicions arose when fans discovered a minor but damning detail: in a now-deleted Instagram Story where O’Day filmed herself “walking through a sacred Balinese marketplace”, a Walgreens receipt for Dry Shampoo and Takis could be seen poking out of her purse. Aubrey O’Day Responds: “I Am Bali” Despite overwhelming evidence, O’Day remains adamant that her digital paradise is, in fact, reality. In a passionate response posted to her Instagram Story, the singer addressed her critics: "Y’all need to understand something. Bali isn’t just a place. Bali is a frequency. It’s a state of mind. I have transcended physical geography. My haters are simply stuck in the matrix.” O’Day then launched into a 12-minute lecture on “quantum shifting,” suggesting that she has mastered the ability to “exist in multiple dimensions simultaneously.” She claims her detractors simply lack the spiritual awareness to comprehend how she can be in both Glendale and Bali at the same time. “It’s 2025, babe. Ever heard of manifestation? If I believe I’m in Bali, then I’m in Bali. And honestly, I feel sorry for the people who don’t get that.” However, skeptics were quick to point out inconsistencies in her argument. “I just saw her at Target buying a scented candle,” said a bewildered onlooker.
“I mean, I support personal growth, but if she was really in Bali, why is she using a self-checkout in Sherman Oaks?” The Rise of Virtual Influencing Social media experts say O’Day’s tactics may not be an isolated case, but rather a growing trend among influencers desperate to maintain an exotic, jet-setting image without actually leaving their apartments. “There’s a new wave of ‘digital nomads’ who, rather than physically traveling, just buy green screens and superimpose themselves onto footage from National Geographic,” said social media strategist Carla Benson. “Why spend thousands of dollars flying to Thailand when you can just deepfake yourself onto a beach and call it a brand partnership?” O’Day, for her part, appears unfazed by the controversy. Reports suggest she is already planning her next move—an immersive “living in Santorini” series, which, according to leaked emails, will involve nothing more than changing her green screen from “Bali Sunset” to “Greek Islands” and adding a few blue filters. Meanwhile, fans remain divided. “Look, I get it, reality is subjective now,” said one commenter under O’Day’s latest Instagram post, where she appears to be sipping a piña colada on an undeniably computer-generated beach. “But can we at least get a little effort? At least pretend to struggle through TSA once?” Call to Action: Is Reality Even Real Anymore? As the debate rages on, one question remains: Do we even care if influencers are lying, or are we all just here for the vibes? Should Instagram require proof of travel before allowing influencers to post about their “spiritual journeys,” or should we just accept that, in 2025, truth is whatever has the best lighting? One thing is certain—whether she’s in Bali, Burbank, or simply lost in the depths of her own delusions, Aubrey O’Day remains a master of reinvention. And if nothing else, we should all take a moment to appreciate the sheer dedication it takes to live an entirely fictional life without breaking character. And if you need her, she’ll be “off the grid” in Santorini—right after she finishes paying her Spectrum internet bill. https://lighthousenewsnetwork.com/aubrey-oday-swears-she-lives-in-bali-but-her-doordash-driver-says-otherwise/?feed_id=15387&_unique_id=67c0c504c008a

The Rise of Pick-Up and Drop Services: A Convenient Solution for Modern Living
In our fast-paced world, time has become one of the most valuable commodities. The stresses of daily life often leave individuals longing for more hours in the day to manage their responsibilities effectively. Among the many services emerging to cater to this need for convenience, pick-up and drop services have gained prominence. These services are reshaping how we approach daily tasks, whether it’s running errands, commuting to work, or managing logistics for businesses. This blog post explores the evolution of pick-up and drop services, their benefits, and their implications for the future of urban mobility.
Understanding Pick-Up and Drop Services
Pick-up and drop services refer to the transportation solutions that facilitate the movement of individuals or goods from one location to another. This broad category encompasses a wide range of offerings, including ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft, delivery services like DoorDash and Postmates, on-demand grocery delivery, and even specialized transport for items, including furniture and electronics.
While traditional transportation services have existed for decades, the rise of technology and mobile applications has revolutionized how we access these services. Today, a simple tap on a smartphone can summon a vehicle, schedule a delivery, or dispatch a courier—all from the comfort of one’s home or office.
The Evolution of Pick-Up and Drop Services
The concept of pick-up and drop services is not new. Taxi services have been around for over a century, and postal services have long facilitated the movement of goods. However, the advent of the internet and smartphone technology has dramatically transformed these traditional models. The introduction of app-based platforms has disrupted established norms and opened up entirely new avenues for transportation and delivery.
In recent years, various innovations have further diversified the landscape. For example, ride-sharing platforms have popularized the idea of sharing rides with strangers, offering a cost-effective alternative to personal vehicle ownership. Similarly, on-demand delivery services have made it possible for consumers to receive anything from groceries to takeout meals within minutes, thereby accommodating the increasing demand for instant gratification.
Another noteworthy trend is the integration of logistics and delivery services for businesses. Companies are increasingly leveraging pick-up and drop services to optimize their supply chains, enhance customer satisfaction, and reduce operational costs. By outsourcing their logistics needs, businesses can focus on core competencies while relying on specialized service providers for efficient delivery solutions.
Benefits of Pick-Up and Drop Services
1. Enhanced Convenience
One of the most significant advantages of pick-up and drop services is convenience. Whether for personal errands or business logistics, the ability to summon a ride or request the delivery of goods with just a few taps on a mobile app saves time and reduces stress. This convenience appeals to a broad demographic, from busy professionals to elderly individuals who may find it challenging to navigate transportation independently.
2. Time Efficiency
Time efficiency is crucial in today’s fast-paced society. Services that provide pick-up and drop solutions can significantly reduce the time individuals spend on commuting and running errands. With the added pressure of work and social commitments, many people prefer to allocate their time to activities that provide fulfillment rather than mundane chores. As such, these services help streamline daily life and promote productivity.
3. Accessibility and Inclusivity
Pick-up and drop services also enhance accessibility for individuals who may face mobility challenges. Seniors, those with disabilities, or individuals living in areas with limited public transportation options can benefit from these services by gaining improved access to essential resources, medical appointments, and social activities. By bridging the mobility gap, these services contribute to a more inclusive society.
4. Cost-effectiveness
For many individuals and businesses, maintaining a vehicle can be costly. By utilizing pick-up and drop services, users can save on vehicle maintenance, fuel, parking fees, and insurance. For businesses, outsourcing logistics can reduce overhead costs related to transportation, allowing them to allocate resources to other critical areas.
5. Environmental Impact
Interestingly, the rise of shared mobility services has the potential for reducing carbon footprints. With options to share rides, there is the possibility of fewer vehicles on the road, leading to decreased emissions and reduced traffic congestion. Moreover, some services embrace sustainability initiatives by utilizing eco-friendly vehicles and promoting best practices for efficient operations.
Challenges and Considerations
While pick-up and drop services provide substantial benefits, they are not without challenges. Safety concerns remain a dominant issue, particularly in ride-sharing scenarios. Ensuring secure transactions, driver verification, and passenger safety is paramount for service providers. Striking a balance between convenience and security must be prioritized to foster confidence in the services.
Regulatory challenges are also significant, as many jurisdictions grapple with how to legislate and oversee the myriad of services entering the market. The response of local governments has ranged from stringent regulations to a collaborative approach with ride-sharing and delivery companies.
Additionally, the saturation of the market is another pressing concern. With numerous companies vying for consumer attention, maintaining service quality and differentiating one’s offerings are critical for long-term success.
The Future of Pick-Up and Drop Services
Looking ahead, the future of pick-up and drop services will be shaped by technological advancements, evolving consumer expectations, and the increasing emphasis on sustainability. We can expect greater integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, enabling companies to enhance route optimization, demand forecasting, and customer service.
Furthermore, innovations in electric and autonomous vehicles may have a profound impact on how these services are delivered. As these technologies mature, the potential for completely autonomous delivery systems or rides could lead to reduced costs and increased efficiencies.
The ongoing development of urban infrastructure, including smart city initiatives, will also provide fertile ground for enhancing pick up and drop services. As cities become more connected, the integration of various modes of transport could facilitate seamless mobility solutions that cater to a diverse range of needs.
Pick-up and drop services represent a pivotal innovation at the intersection of convenience, technology, and urban mobility. As consumers increasingly embrace the comfort and efficiency of these solutions, businesses and service providers must continue to adapt to changing expectations and challenges. The future may hold even more possibilities for pick-up and drop services, making them an integral part of daily life as we strive for greater accessibility, sustainability, and efficiency in our modern world.
Through this evolution, the focus on user experience, safety, and environmental impact will ultimately determine the trajectory of these services and their lasting significance in shaping urban mobility. Embracing these changes not only caters to the demands of the present but also paves the way for a future where convenience and connectivity enhance the quality of life for everyone.
