hello! it’s been a while but i have a not so surprising announcement.

i’m not coming back to this blog. it’s been a hot minute since i last logged on and even more since i truly felt motivated to post here, whether it’s content or just tidbits from my day. the love for writing is there but unfortunately the love for this blog isn’t, and it’s something i’ve been putting off since my last blog.

there’s a list of reasons for this and i’m not gonna go into them rn, but my mental health hasn’t been too great for a while now and i’m sure that’s one of the reasons my motivation has run dry. i wish it wasn’t the case but there’s some things i just can’t control.

i still love the friends i made here, and i would like to thank those of you that sent me asks! i feel terrible for not getting to them but i just don’t have the energy to do so. i’d love to give my mutuals my disc so we can stay in touch, but i won’t be checking on this account much after this post.

in terms of creating other blogs, i’m not sure it’s on the cards for me. i am writing! that hasn’t changed, although it is a long process. to put it clearly, fandom tumblr just isn’t for me anymore, and even though it’s upsetting, it’s just how it is. in the very unlikely event that i do feel the need to post, it’ll be on a new blog with a completely different pseud.

i really did love the time i spent here, and all the friends i was lucky enough to make. i hope life treats you well, and that you don’t face too much hardship. i love you guys so so much <333

Small updates! I am back in town! I had a wonderful vacation with my family and being away from work was much needed! But I am...forced to not jump right back into Crushed development...or game jam stuff...because...I got COVID again. I was taken to the ER for asthma related symptoms and found out a LOT of fun things about what my body is Not Doing Well. Which, same bestie, same. 

I’m still shooting for an August release but I am very aware that just because I Want Things does not mean I will get them. So we maaaaay reconsider an early build going up??? Maybe?? I don’t know. I’m just very frustrated right now, but this devlog needed to go out. (I’m also frustrated that evvvvveerrryyyone and they mama is dressed to the nines and seeing the Barbie movie and I’m not one of them!!!! My luck y’all.)

On the bright side, I’ve been listening to submissions to the casting call for Crushed AND OH MY GOODNESS IT’S SO FUN I CRY!!! For those out of the loop, Crushed will have partial voice acting but it will be added at a later date (so when the game finally goes live, it will just be the completed build itself, minus the additional voice lines!)

Okay! Since I’m house stuck again for the foreseen future, you can find me returning to playing Otome/Josei jam entries (everyone is talented and I could bear hug you ALL), and also CG hunting with College Craze since I *suddenly* have time to play the latest update LOL.

oh boy help i just remembered that i still have a so many dark blood event reqs that haven’t been touched yet 😭 it already took me a month to get out all that i did and then plus me going on hiatus for like another month didn’t help so like are y’all still even interested tbh? 😭 if i’m being completely real, i’ve lost motivation to write over the past little while and so there’s no inspiration flowing currently and like i also don’t like giving you guys smth i’m not happy with. ugh i’m in a dilemma like on one hand if i discontinue it it’ll feel v incomplete (esp w me thinking that i was so smart to leave jake for last <//3) and i’d feel like i’m also letting ppl down for taking the time to send in reqs and being excited about it and then never fulfilling that would just be <//333 but then on the other hand, if i discontinue the event, i’d def feel a lot a lot of weight off my shoulders, more free and can have a fresh start w everything. cuz ngl i think i am gaining inspiration,,,, but for other fics and ideas,, not dark blood requests. basically it’s putting my well-being, happiness and inspiration (for a lack of better words T-T) over others,,, and ngl it’s part of my beliefs and values to put others before myself so like <//3 like doing the dark blood reqs is still writing and i find joy in writing,, it’s just that when it comes to requests, sometimes that happiness becomes forced yk? help y’all i’m actually T-T
