EXPERIMENT

Era: Spearmaster Diet: Same as Spearmaster. After meeting anti-FP, they can use their mouth to devour anything they can fit inside it whole. (OOOOO|OOOOO) Abilities: The Experiment has the same ability to create needles as the Spearmaster, though not as efficiently - mostly, they have several poking out of their flesh at any given time when in combat for protective reasons. They have the agility and scales of a Red Lizard and the might and appetite of a Leviathan, albeit with their mouth currently bound shut. Iterator: Anti-SRS, Silently Recursive Sanity, considers the Experiment their magnum opus. The product of a machine that decided to play God rather than focus on the Problem, which still exists in Antiworld. The ultimate apex predator, set loose upon the world. Rather than treating the Experiment as an equal, anti-SRS treats them as nothing but a potential weapon, a wild animal given their "blessings". Anti-FP, Fragmented Precipice, marks the Experiment and frees their jaws.

EXILE

Era: Artificer Diet: Same as Artificer. (OOOOOO|OOO) Abilities: The Exile still has her pups, and yet has even more bloodlust - this time more like hunting for sport than for vengeance. She is constantly on the verge of burning out, and her explosions are much more violent - at the cost of reaching her limit twice as fast, her explosions do mass-scaled damage. One of her legs is replaced with an explosive spear, and if she does a front flip and lands directly on top of a creature, it impales them. Rather than having a normal tail, a stump leaking sparks and embers in her wake trails behind her. She is untouchable by spears, the equivalent of using the Auto-Parry mod ingame. Iterator: Fragmented Precipice is caring for her pups, as she would rather paint the Wastes red than be a parent. She is already marked thanks to stealing an ID Drone - the Antiworld equivalent of the one the Scavenger King has.

PARADOX

Era: Post-Artificer, Pre-Hunter (Inv) Diet: Capable of digesting most things it can fit in its mouth thanks to being full of void fluid. In the amount of time it would take a Jungle Leech to steal a pip from an attached creature, the Paradox randomly gains or loses a pip. (OOOOOOOOOOOO|) Abilities: The entire world has a mix of the Voidmelt and negative Hunter cycle effect on it at all times, and each movement to a new room changes what part of the timeline the Paradox is placed upon. The Paradox can do bomb jumps like the Artificer/Exile at the cost of forcing the timeline to randomize mid-room and disorienting the Paradox. Contact with acid, explosives, and electricity causes the Paradox to explode like a Singularity Bomb due to being full of void fluid. Iterator: No matter what part of the timeline the Paradox is in, every single can is eerily silent and empty. The gravity turning on and off causes a timeline jump every time.

CARNIVORE

Era: Hunter Diet: Obligate carnivore. Going too long without eating will cause its pips to slowly drain - going past zero fills the pips with red. All pips filling with red causes a permanent game over where the Carnivore completely loses itself to its Rot instincts. Starving twice in a row does this as well instead of killing it. Can only eat by grabbing creatures and pulling them inside its mass, like a Rot Cyst. (OOOOOOOOOO|) Abilities: Weak to explosives and feared by any creature that fears the Rot. Extra sensitive hearing at the cost of heavily reduced vision. More agile than most in zero gravity conditions, and capable of suspending itself from its tendrils. Iterator: Originally purposed to be an assistant to anti-NSH, The Never-Signaling Herald. Anti-SRS "borrowed" it, claiming to be giving it improvements in its purpose. Instead, it was mutated into a monster and starved so that upon returning to anti-NSH, it saw his neuron flies as a buffet. The Carnivore came to in a now-silent wing of anti-NSH's can, completely devoid of all organic matter. Assuming that it killed him, it fled, never looking back.

VANTABLACK

Era: Post-Hunter, Pre-Gourmand (same as Caregiver). They were cast out from Journey's End by the Despot for speaking out against their hoarding, selfish tendencies, so they have no idea that their family (Remnant, Pacifist, Dragon Slayer) was further torn apart. Diet: Same as Survivor and Monk. (OOOOO|OOO) Abilities: Completely silent and invisible in the dark, except for their eyes. They make an unnaturally low amount of noise, able to slip past even the most keen of Black Lizards. Iterator: Eventually marked by anti-FP. I don't have much for this fella OTL

DESPOT

Era: Gourmand Diet: Same as Gourmand. (OOOOOOO|OOOO) Abilities: Very similar to the Gourmand, but various valuables are in the pool of items they can cough up. Mostly pearls. They can direct allied and tamed creatures by pointing and gesturing, able to command others to do things for them - such as gathering food for them. Their fatigue bar is shorter due to being a lot lazier thanks to expecting others to do things for them. Iterator: N/A

REMNANT

Era: Survivor Diet: Same as Survivor. (OOOO|OOO) Abilities: The least divergent when it comes to abilities. If dragged into a den by a predator, they have a low chance of being able to crawl back out out of sheer determination instead of dying. Iterator: Marked by anti-FP.

PACIFIST

Era: Monk Diet: Same as Monk, with the ability to eat from corpses at half their usual nutrition value. (OOO|OO) Abilities: Their tail is like one giant Yellow Lizard antennae, giving them dominance over and the ability to communicate with them. Yellow Lizards are tame by default and treat them as a pack member and leader, and drop karma flowers if they die. If a Yellow Lizard in their pack is hurt, it will stun the Pacifist for a moment due to them being capable of feeling their pain. Iterator: N/A

DRAGON SLAYER

RIPTIDE

Era: Rivulet Diet: Same as Hunter - nearly an obligate carnivore. (OOOOOO|OOO) Abilities: Even faster underwater than Rivulet with nearly infinite breath at the cost of being incredibly clumsy on land (minus climbing being okay). They get easily fatigued with extended land movement and their back legs are vestigial. They have good sight both in the dark and underwater due to living mainly in the murky, rotten lakes around anti-LTTM, Lingering Traces Toward Malady. Eel Lizards and Salamanders are positive to tame toward them. They can maul creatures while underwater and are slightly bioluminescent. Iterator: Created by anti-CW, Churning Waters, but closer to anti-LTTM. They're similar to the Experiment in that their creator doesn't really treat them very well or like an intelligent equal. They feel monstrous and like assisting anti-LTTM in cleansing the rot out of her system - she's rotten instead of anti-FP, thank anti-SRS - will somehow "redeem" them.

MESSIAH

Era: Saint Diet: Completely incapable of eating and has no need for it. Shelters refuse to work until the blizzard flares up to make up for this. Abilities: Already attuned, thanks to sort of being an echo despite not ever reaching the void sea yet. Or have they? Their attunement state lasts longer the less maximum karma they have, and they are capable of "ascending" Echoes to avoid raising it. The X-shaped marks on their body open like eyes when they are in the attunement state. They cannot die in a way that matters - cycles continue as normal and whatever killed them simply closes up and scars. Iterator: Anti-SOS, Solitude Over Salvation, created them while experimenting desperately to try and solve the Problem. Anti-SOS does not think they are the solution - they think the Messiah is a horrible, horrible mistake. The Messiah, however, genuinely believes that they are the Triple Affirmative made flesh. basically if saint is scug jesus this is the scug antichrist

Hi I stumbled upon your dreamscape au and it seems really interesting :) would you mind sharing a bit about it?

Oooh, it's so cool that people start finding my stuff interesting ^^ tiny anxiety noises Ahem, anyway, it's all started from a never ending cycle of birth, death and rebirth. Ancients craived for escape from it in form of eternal existence. To escape mortality of their flesh, they've created a Dreamscape, a huge cyberspace that allows you to make dreams come true. To protect themselves from potential dangers, the Ancients instructed iterators to manage the Dreamscape.

In our known local group, LttM stays as the head admin of the group. It is always calm and peaceful to be near her, she can easily put any mind in bliss. Moon is very caring and patient and will never refuse to help. Next one in line is SRS(still need to be designed), they represent adventurous, fervent, exciting dreams. They've always up for some adventure and you'll never get bored in their company. Suns also have very compassionate personality.

3rd in group is NSH, you'll never gonna know what's gonna happen next when you're in his company. Strange dreams, dubious scenarios bordering on madness and nightmares - that's what he's all about. He's clever enough not to cross the line, but his chaotic personality never stays unshowed.

And last, but not least - 5P. Before the Nightmares appeared, it was Moon's assistant, as it was built later than everyone else, relatively shortly before the Dreamscape was closed. After Straw's death, he was tasked with containing the Nightmares until the rest of the iterators came up with a plan to prevent them from appearing in the Dreamscape, that's mainly explains his monstrous appearence. This AU manly inspired by HSR 3rd planet in terms of story and CoS for designs, as for the vibes - I'm about to go all ENA on those muahaha There's still a lot to be done, but the core of the story in nearly ready!

WUAGHHHHH I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN I LIKE THEM SOOOO MUCH i really really want to talk about General interpretations but it's hard because of how obviously biased i am. but. Augh. this is so nothing but it got long and i'm embarrassed so woe read more be upon ye

i gotta start by mentioning that faelings original design & concept for suns (and spearmaster by extension) is sooo important to me and a lot of my personal interp comes from that, comics like this (link to the official discord btw) that they made for example! and though it has arguably less to do with suns, the 1.5 drought mod also has a special place in my heart but if i get too into that i'll start screaming and crying about it. just know that wanderer is so special to me and suns has two kitty cats that they love so much ok?🫶

anyways. i think because of the fact they aren't fleshed out much in canon aside from the spearmaster broadcasts there's a lot left up for the player to decide, which honestly is really fun to me and i genuinely love seeing other peoples interpretations!! but personally because you mentioned it and because i feel kinda strongly about this in particular, i wanna say that i don't think suns is mean, i think they definitely have the potential to be overprotective and intimidating, but it'd almost always be out of love. one thing the broadcasts ARE good at showing is just how much they care about basically everybody around them, even if they're a little.. dense about some things. they way they talk in the chat logs with nsh, about their guilt over pebbles' situation and trying to make up for it even though pebbles clearly doesn't want their help, about dooming not only pebbles but moon as well (who as far as canon text goes, they don't seem to have ever personally talked to moon at all imo). and when nsh stops messaging them, or becomes increasingly worried about moon, they get visibly concerned about his wellbeing as well and does their best to console him. my favourite broadcasts are the ones about their gradual realization that maaaaybe they care about spearmaster a little more than they originally intended to. they raised spearmaster, going as far as to teach it a personally modified sign language rather than a quick and easy one-way mark of communication like most iterators would do. the chat logs after spearmaster encounters pebbles and how worried suns was for it, about how they regret ever sending them to pebbles in the first place, and that they just wished it'd return home to them safely. there's also the fact that they kept an eye on spearmaster with their overseer basically 24/7, to the point that even pebbles knew that suns was watching. overseers can act on their own, we know that from what we see in canon, but pebbles knew that suns was actively watching when spearmaster entered his can. which. god this wasn't supposed to be about pebbles but pebbles not killing spearmaster is something that's so important to me because he so easily could have killed them and there was no reason for him not to. but despite how hurt he was and how wronged he felt, he knew that it would have ruined suns so he held himself back and it's so AAUUGHHHHHH!!!!!!! i love them all so much. this is barely even about suns anymore sorry i didn't mean to type so much about spearmaster i just love their campaign so much. don't even get me started on the thought of ascending as spearmaster that shit will make me start killing people i actually was going to talk about headcanon stuff too (mostly stuff from before the global ascension/after riv) but. i started thinking too hard about suns and pebbles and spearmaster and wanderer and and and. Well sorry but i fear that if i think about rain world any more today i may end up on national television. so maybe another day

Favorite character - I've just always loved Rivulet. Even before I realized I WAS riv, ive always just. loved him. i love how fast-paced the campaign is, i love the story, i love the colors and mechanics and design and just. all of it !!!!!

Liked by everyone but me - i just cant really understand a lot of the fandom's love for artificer. like i dont hate arti at all but i just dont understand all of the love. to me, artificer is someone trapped in that pure fury who simply could not let go of it, regardless of how hard they may have tried to break out of it. i think that it should be highlighted more in the fandom and thats actually what im trying to change about my own rain world au- i want to highlight that fury, that grief, that pure hatred mixed with the confusion of what to do, and how even once theyve calmed down from that fury, that it can be reignited in an instant from anything that reminds them of the death of their pups, the toll scavengers, ect.

Like the design, dislike (Campaign) - i literally LOVE gourm ok. i love just how much can be done with their character, i love how theyre presented in game as that kind colony member who braved a new, unknown area to benefit their family, their colony, everyone they care about and love. i just hate the exhaust mechanic and i found the food quest to just be boring and unnessecarily long and tedious

Like the campaign, dislike design - by this i mean more like. just how hunter was shown in game. i really liked the story but i feel like we just werent given enough. what were they like before leaving nsh? what were they like before the rot or before the rot began to seriously affect them? how many other iterators knew about hunter? how old even were they when they began their mission? and dont get me started on the ending i wish there was more than just the one end scene art, i wish we knew more about hunter and nsh's relationship

NanoSphere Forms Strategic Partnership to Launch Evolve Products in Mexico

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — NanoSphere Health Sciences Inc. The partnership was developed through NanoSphere’s Canadian-based cannabis division, NanoSphere Cannabis International Inc. (NCI). President Gary Symons says the agreement is part of NCI’s strategy to find global partners in countries where medical or recreational cannabis is being legalized. Mexico’s designated Interior Minister Olga Sanchez announced on Nov. 8 that Mexico would become the third country in the world – after Uruguay and Canada – to legalize both medical and recreational cannabis.

“We have been looking at the market in Mexico for some time, and we’ve been very fortunate to find a strong partner in Abba, with existing sales channels through the three largest pharmacy chains in the country, and their own GMP certified production facility for health supplements,” Symons explained.

This agreement marks the second licensing deal for NCI since the company was formed on Nov. 1st, 2018. The first was an agreement ceding the Master License for NanoSphere delivery technology to Delta 9 Cannabis Inc., which is currently building out its cannabis extract production facilities.

“In my opinion, NanoSphere has developed the most advanced delivery system for cannabis in the world, and this proprietary technology is allowing us to expand very quickly,” said Symons.

Julio Antonio D Miguel, President and CEO of Abba, says the upcoming partnership with NCI and Delta 9 will allow his company to take a leading role in the fast approaching cannabis market.

“As a leading distributor of health supplements in Mexico, we can see the tremendous potential for the cannabis industry,” said Ibarra. “Our goal was to secure the relationship with NanoSphere so that our company would have the exclusive right to distribute a truly revolutionary product for our customers.”

The Letter of Intent provides Abba with the exclusive Master License for NanoSphere’s cannabis and CBD products throughout Mexico, pending the signing of a definitive licensing agreement.

Under the agreement, NanoSphere will initially export its cannabis product line, Evolve Formulas to Abba from Canadian partner and Licensed Producer Delta 9 Cannabis Inc. The companies also plan to collaborate on a production facility in Mexico for dried cannabis, extracts, and NanoSphere’s various cannabis products.

NanoSphere Health’s Evolve Formula’s line, currently consists of three variations of the transdermal NanoSerum™ formula, one THC-dominant, CBD-dominant and hemp-derived CBD. Master Limited Partnership Simplifications on the Rise

With the announcement of three separate master limited partnership simplification transactions on May 17 alone, we must revisit our thesis that the business structure may not be in it for the long haul.

At Valuentum, we continue to believe the master limited partnership (MLP) business model is at risk over the long haul, and recent news from the space only seems to support the notion that the MLP model we once knew may be fading more quickly than some had expected. If there is nothing inherently wrong with the structure of MLPs, then the rate at which simplification transactions are occurring would certainly be an alarming development, but we continue to point to factors such as the need for robust levels of outside capital financing for growth and an industry-wide preference for selective cash flow measures that do not properly account for capital needed for growth but prop up lofty yields and distribution-based valuation as key causes for concern.

The detachment of fundamentals and analysis in the space may finally be coming to an end, but the acceleration of simplification transactions, which we had originally highlighted as a long-term concern, is due in part to the FERC ruling that MLPs are no longer allowed to receive credit for income taxes they do not pay. Nevertheless, the core of our thesis is based on the idea that MLPs should not be treated, valued, or analyzed differently than typical corporates, which is supported by the FERC’s ruling to eliminate the MLP tax allowance, in our opinion.

Three different simplification transactions were announced May 17, which we will address later in this note, but they are only a fraction of the restructuring activity we have seen thus far in 2018. Let’s take a quick look at some of those deals.

Terra Nitrogen was swallowed by its general partner, Terra Nitrogen GP, which is a subsidiary of CF Industries (CF).

Legacy Reserves (LGCY) announced that it is working to transition to a C-Corp with the goals of attaining a less complicated balance sheet and enhanced ability to raise capital.

NuStar (NS) announced its merger plans with general partner NuStar GP Holdings (NSH), along with the elimination of its incentive distribution rights and a cut in its quarterly distribution.

Tallgrass Energy Partners (TEP) will be acquired by its general partner Tallgrass Energy GP (TEGP) and eliminated its incentive distribution rights, which is aimed at reducing its cost of capital.

Archrock (AROC) will acquire the remaining units it does not already own in Archrock Partners LP (APLP) in a deal designed to increase dividend coverage, improve its credit profile, simplify its capital structure, and lower its cost of capital.

Alliance Resource Partners (ARLP) and Alliance Holdings GP (AHGP) announced a series of simplification transactions intended to simplify the organization’s structure and increase investor transparency while attracting a broader investor base.

EQT Midstream Partners (EQM), EQT GP Holdings (EQGP), and Rice Midstream Partners LP (RMP) announced a midstream streamlining transaction that includes the purchase of Rice Midstream’s incentive distribution rights by EQT GP Holdings and efficiency gains that should offset the need for a not immaterial amount of incremental capital.

Though no official announcement has been made, Boardwalk Pipeline Partners (BWP) CEO Stanley Horton has suggested general partner Loews (L) may take the MLP private.

We are not here to dissect the strategic rationale of these transactions.

We continue to be of the opinion that the majority of the businesses underlying master limited partnerships are sound and core to our economy (US energy production is strong and organic growth projects are prevalent), but their complex organization structures and industry-specific manner of operating and valuation are not sustainable over the long haul, in our view. The proliferation of simplification transactions across the MLP space seems to support this notion as organizations continue to work to reduce their cost of capital, a factor that is extremely important to entities that are dependent on outside funding.

With that in mind, let’s dig in to the three freshest simplification announcements. A little more than a year after the Williams family’s double equity raise and distribution cut, “MLPs: Williams’ Double Equity Raise,” general partner Williams Companies (WMB) has agreed to acquire the remaining units of Williams Partners (WPZ) it does not already own, which is ~26% of the limited partner, for a premium of just over 6% of Williams Partners’ May 16 close price.

Williams Companies will issue 382.5 million shares in the proposed transaction, and Williams Partners unithodlers will receive 1.494 shares of the general partner for each unit owned, assuming the deal closes before Williams Companies’ third quarter dividend record date. If the transaction closes as scheduled, Williams Partners' unithodlers will receive five payouts in calendar 2018, which management estimates equates to a ~15% increase over its previously expected distributions in the year. The exchange ratio implies a reset of its quarterly payout to ~$0.21 (0.3083 x 0.671), which is not immaterial even if dividend growth prospects are enhanced as a result of the transaction.

The third simplification transaction announced May 17 comes from Cheniere Energy (LNG) and Cheniere Energy Partners (CQH). Cheniere Energy is offering 0.45 of its share per share of Cheniere Energy Partners in a tax-free exchange. The proposal offered no guidance regarding future dividend payments, but Cheniere Energy does not currently pay a dividend. Shares of Cheniere Energy Partners currently yield more than 7%. For example, the Energy Transfer (ETE, ETP) family is evaluating its organizational structure and points to late 2019 as a potential timeline for an internal restructuring transaction.
