AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB é só 5% mais lenta do que a RTX 5060 Ti 16GB em testes

Resultado é positivo quando se considera que a placa da AMD é 20% mais barata que o modelo da NVIDIA.

A AMD RX 9060 XT 16GB surge como uma forte concorrente da NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. As informações foram publicadas pelo canal eTeknix, mas logo o vídeo foi apagado em decorrência do embargo. Felizmente, um usuário do reddit salvou algumas capturas.

Nos benchmarks vazados, considerando uma média de 10 jogos em 1080p, a RX 9060 XT atinge 187 FPS, ficando 3% atrás da RTX 5060 Ti, que marca 194 FPS. Curiosamente, iguala-se à RX 7700 XT (186 FPS) e supera sua antecessora, a RX 7600 XT 16GB, em 35%.

Já em 1440p, a RX 9060 XT cai para 134 FPS, ficando 5% atrás da RTX 5060 Ti (142 FPS) e 3% abaixo da RX 7700 XT (139 FPS), mas mantendo 35% de vantagem sobre a RX 7600 XT.

Considerando os jogos testados, em Cyberpunk 2077 e Alan Wake II, a RX 9060 Ti pontuou acima da RTX 5060. Em A Plague Tale: Requiem, a placa da AMD também pontuou acima da NVIDIA, mas por uma margem menor.

E a situação foi invertida nos testes realizados com Black Myth: Wukong e Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.

Preço e Eficiência

A verdadeira comparação, no entanto, começa quando se considera o preço. No papel, a RX 9060 XT é 20% mais barata, o que vale o custo considerando que sacrifica apenas cerca de 5% do desempenho. Apesar dos avanços da AMD com o FSR 4, a NVIDIA ainda lidera com tecnologias como CUDA, Multi Frame Generation e Smooth Motion.

A RX 9060 XT é uma resposta direta da AMD à série RTX 5060 Ti da NVIDIA, que também possui versões de 8GB e 16GB, custando US$ 299 e US$ 349, respectivamente. Já os preços sugeridos paras as placas da NVIDIA são US$ 429 para a RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB; US$ 379 para a RTX 5060 Ti de 8 GB; e US$ 299 para a RTX 5060.

Segundo avaliações internas da AMD, a RX 9060 XT 16GB oferece 6% mais desempenho que a RTX 5060 Ti 8GB em 1440p Ultra. No entanto, comparações diretas podem ser injustas, pois framebuffers de 8GB podem limitar o desempenho em jogos que exigem mais VRAM.

AMD RX 6900 XT 1440p/4K gaming specs, price, and comparisons.

The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT boosted high-end graphics card sales. AMD's flagship can compete with NVIDIA's top GPUs, especially the GeForce RTX 3090, with its architectural improvements and 4K gaming performance.

Architecture of RDNA2

AMD's RDNA 2 Architecture revolutionised. AMD's graphics cards got real-time ray tracing and better performance per watt than RDNA 1. AMD's bandwidth-caching Infinity Cache debuted this generation. To reduce delay and increase memory bandwidth, AMD chose a fast 128MB cache over a power- and cost-intensive memory bus.

Smart Access Memory (SAM) is another major improvement. With a Ryzen processor and 500 series motherboard, SAM gives the CPU full access to the GPU's memory, improving game performance by 10% to 15%.

Gaming: 4K/1440p Champion

The RX 6900 XT still excels in many games in 2024. In most modern 1440p games, it easily hits triple-digit frame rates on maximum settings. At 4K, the card runs nicely, averaging 60–90 FPS, depending on the game.

In standard rasterisation tasks, the RX 6900 XT often outperforms the RTX 3080 and occasionally approaches the 3090. AMD lags in ray tracing. The RX 6900 XT can handle ray tracing when used sparingly, but to maintain frame rates at 4K, it must be enabled at the sacrifice of other settings or AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution.

These cards run quietly and stay below 75°C even under severe loads compared to other high-end GPUs.

Despite being warmer and noisier under stress, the AMD standard architecture performs well. A durable, straightforward design and triple-fan axial configuration make it look well in any project.

Feature Software

Adrenalin Software Suite from AMD is a good GPU control panel. Performance monitoring, gaming profiles, overclocking, and streaming are included. Radeon Boost, Chill, and Anti-Lag control input latency and performance. Integrated game capture and streaming software ReLive is an AMD advantage.
