November Writing Stats

So, Nano was a fucking bust. While I hate to give excuses, it turns out that there was a bit more going on in my life than I had accounted for - my parents health, my health, and some shenanigans with our home - and it's taken more of a toll than I had thought. I had some goals, not met, but to recap:

Eddie gets Vecna'd - One shot, currently at 9k, about 3k words to add - I added 5,106 words and it's still not finished. I know how this ends, I just seem to be struggling to get there.

Seasons (Grunge Eddie) - currently at 23k, about another 6 or 7k to go I think - Didn't touch it. 😟

Like a Stone (Depressy/Haunted Eddie) - currently at 41k, probably anouther 15k there - Didn't touch it. 😔

Fell On Black Days (Eddie in Prison) - currently at 70k words, pffft... who knows with this one?? - Say it with me - Didn't touch it. 😩

What I did do was turn out 12k for the latest @corrodedcoffinfest pop up event, 6k of which was written on the day of posting. Does it show? No comment. I wrote FLUFF, baby! What we can see from the above is that with a strict deadline I knuckle down, which is giving me flash backs to my Uni days, hopped up on coffee and ProPlus and writing huge essays overnight for an early morning submission. So this month I'm giving myself a strict deadline: Seasons must be finished by 31st December. Why that one? Well, it should be the easiest, it was never meant to be this long and it started from an ask from the Spotify Wrapped prompt tag game, submitted by the lovely @hbyrde36. I'm not taking a prompt from 2023 into 2025, dude, that's just fucking ridiculous, this is so overdue. It's happening this month!!
