If you're willing to install an entirely new OS on your computer, and knowing you will need to install even the most basic apps yourself... at least your Linux distro would actually be an OS that's intended for a personal computer. A computer that goes online, even!

The 2021 LTSC is available in the plain vanilla version, Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021, with end of mainstream support scheduled January 12, 2027, and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021, with an extended end date of January 13, 2032. They are not quite the same as the ordinary consumer editions of Windows 10. They don't include the Windows Store or any "modern" apps. Apart from the Edge browser, they have almost nothing else: no OneDrive, no Weather or Contacts apps, and no Windows Mail or whatever it's called this week.

...no OneDrive, Copilot AI, or all of the other useless crapware cluttering up the Start menu? AND patches/support through 2032??

no way, fellow sai user! i'm the only person i know that still uses sai, so it's super cool to see an artist i've followed the work of for eons using it too :] truly nothing else feels quite like it.. even sai2 doesn't play nice with the textures of my favorite brushes so i've stuck to the original!

I've been pretty much hooked on it since I first got it all those years ago! I never even tried 2 since I was just so content with the first one.

It sadly doesn't have everything I need in an art program and has no app, so sometimes it's hard to recommend it to others because you basically have to combine it with other programs and that's inefficient. But so far nothing else feels the same as far as the line art so I stick with it 🙃

(I was scared as hell that I wouldn't get in to the school)

I don't mind you asking at all! I use Clip Studio Paint, I do have my brushes up for free on Patreon but I gotta update what brushes I now use

Though I'll be honest I wouldn't recommend CSP unless you're animating- that was the only reason I got it ngl, I use to use Medibang or Firealpaca, both work perfectly well and they're a good free option!
