Wait, WHAT!? You telling me that the Freedom Fighter wasted years trying to build and profected a De-Roboticizer BUT this unknown alien species, Bem, already have this technology for sometime before the series Great War started. Who approved of this lazy poor writing and did Ken know about this? (I can't believe someone that incompetent was head writer for Archie Sonic)

I don’t think it counts as “lazy” writing to say some other species already had a de-roboticizer. The way they got everyone de-roboticized all of a sudden with no help from Rotor, Tails, Chuck, and co. was incredibly halfassed, yes, but the Bem merely having that tech all the way on the other side of the galaxy isn’t in and of itself “lazy writing.” Find new ways to criticize media without immediately jumping to calling the creators lazy. Archie didn’t pay any of the people who worked on this series nearly enough anyway

Again, while I do think that they should’ve handled the mass de-roboticization another way, I do think this particular part of it is interesting. The idea that some other group had the tools to help and could have done so at any time, but just didn’t because of their fucked up priorities. (Where have we seen this before in this series…) Like, that’s a very real problem! That is a thing we deal with in the real world all the time! Having a problem, and a clear solution, but not being able to do anything about it either because of complacency or the people in power saying no. And the whole thing with Ceneca-9009 disobeying orders and risking her life to do the right thing. That part, I find compelling
