"Faced with declining membership, aging buildings and large, underutilized properties, many U.S. houses of worship have closed their doors in recent years. Presbyterian minister Eileen Linder has argued that 100,000 churches may close in the next few decades.
But some congregations are using their land in new ways that reflect their faith – a focus of my urban planning research. Some are repurposing their property to provide affordable housing, as the housing crisis intensifies across the country.
Take Arlington Presbyterian Church in Arlington, Virginia. In 2016, the church sold its historic stone building to the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing to construct a 6-story complex with 173 apartments, known as “Gilliam Place.” The building still houses space for the congregation, as well as La Cocina, a bilingual culinary job training facility and cafe. In Austin, Texas, St. Austin Catholic Parish is partnering with a developer to build a 29-story tower providing 200 beds of affordable student housing, in addition to new spaces for ministry.
Other houses of worship are pursuing similar projects today.
Same mission, new projects
Faith-based organizations have been building housing for many years, but generally by purchasing additional property. In recent years, however, more houses of worship are building affordable housing on the same property as the sanctuary.
This can be done in a variety of ways. Some congregations adapt the existing sanctuary and other faith-owned buildings, while others demolish existing buildings to construct a new development, which may or may not have space for the congregation. Another option is to build on excess property, like a parking lot.
Depending on how a development deal is structured, a faith-based organization may receive proceeds from the sale of its land, or from leasing their property to a developer – funds which they can then spend on ministry or on a new space for worship. If a new development includes space for the congregation, sometimes they rent out those spaces when the space is not being used for worship, which can also financially benefit the congregation.
Faith-based organizations often see these projects as a way to do “God’s work.” In some instances, they include community services beyond the housing itself.
Near Los Angeles, the Episcopal Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Placentia partnered with a nonprofit affordable housing developer – National Community Renaissance, also called National CORE – to develop 65 units for older people. The complex also includes a 1,500 square foot (140 square meter) community center. The city’s diocese has a goal of building affordable housing on 25% of its 133 properties.
For some congregations, these are mission-driven projects rooted in social justice.
In Washington, D.C., Emory United Methodist Church redeveloped its property and constructed The Beacon Center – which has 99 affordable housing units, community spaces, and a commercial kitchen that provides job training for recently incarcerated people – while preserving the sanctuary. In Seattle, the Nehemiah Initiative is working with Black churches in the Central District, a historically African American neighborhood, to redevelop its properties into affordable housing to keep residents from being displaced."
Potential to evolve
As states and cities struggle to provide affordable housing, studies have been conducted from Nashville to New York City on the amount of land faith organizations own, and their potential as housing partners.
In the D.C. metro area, for example, the Urban Institute found almost 800 vacant parcels owned by religious organizations. In California, a report from the Terner Center at University of California, Berkeley found approximately 170,000 “potentially developable” acres of land owned by religious organizations and nonprofit colleges and universities...
When thinking about the redevelopment process, Arlington Presbyterian member Jon Etherton told me, “the call from God to create, do something about affordable housing was bigger than the building itself.”"

More Proverbs of Solomon
1 These are more proverbs of Solomon, collected by the scribes of Hezekiah, king of Judah.
2 God's greatness is in doing things that can't be known, while the greatness of kings is in revealing things.
3 Just as the height of the heavens or the depth of the earth can't be known, the king's thinking can't be known.
4 Remove the waste from the silver, and the silversmith has pure silver to work with.
5 Remove the wicked from the king's presence and the king will rule securely and justly.
6 Don't try to make yourself look great before the king, and don't pretend to be among the important people,
7 for it's better to be told, “Come up here,” than to be humiliated before a nobleman. Even though you've seen something with your own eyes,
8 don't rush to take legal action, for what are you going to do in the end when your neighbor shows you're wrong and humiliates you?
9 Discuss the case with your neighbor himself, and don't betray someone else's secret,
10 otherwise whoever hears it will make you ashamed and you'll never lose your bad reputation.
11 Advice given at the right time is like golden apples set in silver.
12 Constructive criticism from the wise to someone who listens is like a gold ring and a necklace of fine gold.
13 Faithful messengers are as refreshing to their master as cold snow on a hot harvest day.
14 Someone who boasts about a gift they never give is like cloud and wind without rain.
15 If you're patient you can persuade your superior, and soft words can break down opposition.
16 If you find honey, eat just enough, for if you eat too much, you'll be sick.
17 Don't set foot in your neighbors' homes too often, otherwise they'll get fed up with you and hate you.
18 Telling lies in court against a friend is like attacking them with a mace, or a sword, or an arrow.
19 Trusting in unreliable people in times of trouble is like eating with a broken tooth or walking on a bad foot.
20 Singing happy songs to someone who's broken-hearted is like taking off your coat on a cold day, or pouring vinegar onto an open wound.
21 If your enemy is hungry, give him something to eat; if he's thirsty, give him a drink of water.
22 This will make him ashamed as if he had burning coals piled on his head, and the Lord will reward you.
23 In the same way that the north wind brings rain, slandering people makes them angry.
24 It's better to live in a corner of a housetop than to share a whole house with an argumentative wife.
25 Good news from a distant country is like cold water to an exhausted traveler.
26 Good people who give in to the wicked are like a muddied spring or a polluted well.
27 It's not good to eat too much honey, or to want too much praise.
28 Someone without control is as exposed as a town whose walls have been breached. — Proverbs 25 | Free Bible Version (FBV) The Free Bible Version is a project of Free Bible Ministry; Copyright © 2018, Free Bible Ministry. YOU CAN MAKE IT 4
"BUT AS IT IS WRITTEN: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man THE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)
• Note: when your mind is sound, that is, your eyes of understanding is enlightened, as a believer in Christ Jesus, you would know what God wanted to accomplish through your life.
- As you see good things which God has in plan, through your enlightened mind, that was sent from the inward Man, by the Holy Spirit, they begin to materialize in the physical as you work them out.
- What you see through your enlightened mind—that came from the intuition or your recreated human spirit—is what comes to fulfilment. What you carnally and ambitiously desire to get accomplished would not be backed up by God.
- Whatever comes from the human nature or soul or untransformed mind would not be sanctioned or performed by God. What is projected by God through the Holy Spirit in your spirit to your transformed mind would eventually be made realistic.
• Remember, all the things created by God came out of the world or earth which was without form and void (Genesis 1:1,2).
- Your present life might seem to be without any form, It might be void of good things, but then, If you cooperate with God; something good would be brought out of your life—He is able to bring beauty out of ashes (Isaiah 61:3).
- It might seem there is no hope for you, no future for you, or your case is closed. I however want to tell you, there is hope for you If you can open up to the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to purge your mind of negative mindsets—a negative or complex mental state involving beliefs and feelings and values and dispositions:
7 “FOR THERE IS HOPE FOR A TREE, IF IT IS CUT DOWN, THAT IT WILL SPROUT AGAIN, AND THAT ITS TENDER SHOOTS WILL NOT CEASE. 8 THOUGH ITS ROOT MAY GROW OLD IN THE EARTH, AND ITS STUMP MAY DIE IN THE GROUND, 9 YET AT THE SCENT OF WATER [a type of God's Word] IT WILL BUD AND BRING FORTH BRANCHES LIKE A PLANT" (Job 14:7-9 NKJV).
- The Holy Spirit will begin to put the pictures of God's preferable future in your mind and give you the power to accomplish or fulfil or bring to realization the pictures being put in your mind.
- The pictures or plans of the preferable future which the Holy Spirit would be putting in your mind are also called visions.
• And for a vision to be actualized: 2 THEN THE LORD ANSWERED ME AND SAID: “WRITE THE VISION AND MAKE IT PLAIN ON TABLETS, THAT HE MAY RUN WHO READS IT. 3 FOR THE VISION IS YET FOR AN APPOINTED TIME; BUT AT THE END IT WILL SPEAK, AND IT WILL NOT LIE. THOUGH IT TARRIES, WAIT FOR IT; BECAUSE IT WILL SURELY COME, IT WILL NOT TARRY [not delayed or late]" (Habakkuk 2:2,3 NKJV).
a. Write the vision (Habakkuk 2:2).
b. Pray and fast as you incubate on it (Nehemiah 1:4).
c. Understanding the importance of timing that you would not go ahead of God and muddle up the plans (Habakkuk 2:3).
d. Run with the vision, that is, put the vision to work or work the vision (Habakkuk 2:2).
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- The power to fulfill is imparted to you now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Thus, go and make it and succeed in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- Whatever is not of God in your body is cursed and completely uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Peace!
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!

THE LAW OF TIMING
THE LAW OF TIMING
Nehemiah 1-2:10

Timing, they say, is everything! Many things in life run smoothly because time is allocated and managed to the nanosecond, and when off by even a second, chaos ensues. Some things, machines, and timetables run like clockwork, and the slightest change in schedule can create havoc.
We live in a world controlled and governed by time—the chronological twenty-four-hour clock—and nobody gets any more or less time. Time is universal, as stated in Ecclesiastes 9:11.
Timing is a law: how quickly something moves and how long it stays still. Time can be slow, speedy, or still. That’s why we must make good use of time because once spent, it’s gone and can’t be returned, reversed, or bought back.
Timing is essential to the development and perfection of all things. As Ecclesiastes 3:11 puts it, only God can make all things beautiful in His time. Even God will not interrupt a timed event to satisfy any man but only for His glory, according to Isaiah 48:1.
The difference between life and death, success and failure, acceptance and rejection is a matter of timing. “Pick your moment” this means we must know the appropriate time for something to be said or done to be meaningful and impactful.
That’s exactly what Nehemiah did; he picked his moment by choosing the right time to see the king. We must learn that timing is everything! The law of timing cannot be bent, manipulated, or ignored. Nehemiah spoke to the king about Jerusalem four months after he heard of the broken city wall. He began praying in December, but it was in April that he approached the king about going to rebuild the wall. Why? The law of timing—picking his moment!
When we have a vision and a burden like Nehemiah did, we must wait for the right time to step up. Nehemiah spent time in prayer, prayer that would make the foundation of any project succeed, create opportunities, open doors, and grant favours.
To succeed in any endeavour, we must use the right time to approach our designated helpers so that they too would be emotionally and mentally prepared by the Lord to see and support our burdens, visions, and projects, just as Nehemiah did with the king in chapter 2:2-5. Because he picked the right time, he received favour from the king, way beyond what he even expected.
Our seasons are timed and timely. There are times to move quickly, slowly, to wait, and times of urgency. We can never rush time; it goes as fast or as slow as we perceive it.
Galatians 4:4 says when the fullness of time had come, God sent His Son at the right moment in human history. God directed world events and prepared peoples and nations for Christ and the proclamation of the gospel. God set the right time for the fulfilment of His promise. He couldn’t have sent Christ earlier or later; He sent Him just at the right time.
Are you waiting on the Lord and hoping He’ll hurry up? See 2 Peter 3:9.
We see how much David understood God’s timing that he willingly relinquished control of time into God’s hands in Psalm 31:14-15.
Have you realized that God is time and everything He does is according to His time, as seen in Ecclesiastes 3:11?
God is the God of time and the only one able to control it, as confirmed in Matthew 24:36, which says no one knows, not even Jesus, the Son, knows the day of judgment, neither the time nor hour.
We must learn to stop allocating time to God for things that only He knows how and when is best for us. There is a law of timing operated by God alone.
PRAYER: Father, thank you for the assurance that times belong to you, help me wisely regard the law of timing and use the time allocated to me in Jesus’ name, amen.
Shalom

As we become willing to accept a certain simple attitude toward life, we find that what seemed at first a flimsy reed has proven to be the loving and powerful hand of God. Through the Spirit and the Word we have a design for living that really works.
By reviewing our character daily, honestly, humbly before God in relation to our daily life, family, friends, acquaintances, work, God can show us where He wants us to change to be conformed to the image of His Son.
We should never be satisfied with a comparison to those around us, but strive toward a closer, more intimate walk with God as our ultimate goal.
God's work in our hearts leads us through weakness to power, through danger to security, through fear and worry to peace and rest in Him.
Nehemiah 5:15 But out of reverence for God, I did not act like the previous governors. v19 Remember me with favor, O God.
Nehemiah 6:16 When our enemies heard that the work was completed, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self confidence because they realized this work had been done with the help of God.
Nehemiah 7:4 Now the city was large and spacious, but there were few people in it and the houses had not yet been rebuilt.
The work that God has appointed us to do, both corporately (rebuilding the wall and setting the gates) and individually (repairing the houses in the city), is truly every bit as great as the task of rebuilding Jerusalem was for Nehemiah.
But just as he received a passion to do the work and see it completed, wisdom to deal with the issues that came up during the work, discernment to see through the plots of the enemies opposed to the work, and strength to do the work itself for him and those working with him, so God is with us daily providing "favor from the King" to accomplish the work He has put in our hearts to do.
Just as the enemies around Jerusalem wanted to keep the City of God's Name in ruins, ineffective as a power in the region, an example to anyone wanting to turn to God that there was no keeping power there, so we are faced with spiritual powers that are content with the current state of God's people.
But understand, that just as the governors of the region took no direct action against Nehemiah, so also are the tools used against us those of lies, threats, intimidation, accusation, and ridicule designed to "make our hands too weak for the work."
With the attitude that was in Nehemiah, focused on "the great project" and calling the lies for what they are, the work will be completed.
1 Corinthians 8:1 Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. V.3 The man who loves God is known by God.
Psalm 33
Loving and sustaining Father, we confirm that You are more than the crutch that the world wants to relegate You to be, You are the under-girding, sustaining force Whose words spoke creation into existence and Whose breath populated the starry host.
You command it and Your will, Your plans, stand firm forever, the purposes of Your heart remain throughout generations. It is fitting for the upright to praise You for Your word is upright and true;
You are faithful in all You do. You love righteousness and justice, yet the earth is full of Your unfailing love.
We thank You that we can confidently and boldly walk in Your will and have the full authority of heaven backing us and know the host of angels are ministering to us and warring in the spirit beside us.
But in our hearts, we approach You reverently, humbly, in trembling awe and respectful obedience realizing it is You, and not us, Who does these things, and we honor You for it, rejoicing that You have permitted us to be a part of Your plan and Your work.

Why are Lightworkers So Important For Humanity?
Tumblr media
Lightworkers can be found dispersed across human history in a variety of cultures and worldviews. People chosen by God to be important characters in the drama that is life. This exploration is a tribute to their journey of discovering what it means to be selected, exposing the nuances of accountability, difficulty, and metamorphosis that characterize their paths.
At the center of our exploration lies a concept that is as old as creation itself. The way that Lightworkers use their thoughts, intentions, and deeds to weave the fabric of our reality. This idea invites us to walk on the sacred ground that these creators of existence have tread with wonder and reverence.
Imagine a world in which the chosen's quiet intentions echo across the valleys of existence and their purposeful deeds cause ripples in the still rivers of life. This is the realm of the Divinely touched. They are not just people who live here; they are the world's sculptors and weavers, painstakingly weaving the threads of their divine instructions into the fabric of life. Every idea they have, every goal they pursue, every deed they commit to, has the potential to change history and reshape the landscape of our shared reality.
The power to see beyond the boundaries of human comprehension is a gift bestowed upon Lightworkers by their connection to the Divine. Like great painters, they view our world as a blank canvas, not for what it is, but for what it might be. Through their eyes, the idea of a world that raises human consciousness and unites the disparate parts of our dispersed existence into a harmonious whole ceases to be a far-off fantasy and instead appears to be an immediate reality.
Take the biblical story of Nehemiah, who was entrusted with the enormous task of reconstructing Jerusalem's walls. His goal went beyond just rebuilding a city structurally. It was a divine directive to heal a people's spirit and heart. Nehemiah's unshakable faith and forward-thinking leadership served as the fires in which a new Jerusalem emerged. A world where communities came together around a resurrected identity and safety coexisted with spiritual renewal.
Opponents, both visible and invisible, lie in wait, ready to obstruct the unfolding of divine plans for those who dare to shape reality in accordance with a higher calling. Nehemiah's opposition from his opponents in the area serves as a sobering reminder of the possible repercussions of interfering with or impeding Lightworkers' creative and constructive processes. Such opposition risks the unraveling of threads destined to weave together a future prescribed by the heavens, challenging not only a temporal plan but also the very nature of divine intention.
A powerful warning that disregarding or opposing these master builders of reality is to fight not just them but also the forces of destiny itself may be found in the stories of Lightworkers such as Nehemiah. Future possibilities rest on their shoulders as they pursue projects approved by powers that are beyond our comprehension. As we stand at the intersection of today and tomorrow, their success or failure will weave a profound and far-reaching web into the fabric of our existence.
Let us honor those who have been given the sacred responsibility of shaping our reality—the Lightworkers among us. Because they hold the potential to shape not just the world we live in but also the very core of our shared existence, let us approach them with the dignity and support befitting the bearers of Divine purpose, rather than with contempt or resistance.
The second reason Lightworkers are unique in the cosmic dance of existence is that they are the only ones who can truly serve as bridges between other dimensions. These exceptional people function as cross-realm messengers of wisdom and insight due to their deep connection to the invisible. Because of their capacity to traverse ethereal landscapes and converse with entities from other dimensions, they have a special position in mediating energy and knowledge, enabling a cosmic integration that enhances our reality.
They interpret the universal language of the cosmos and translate its truths for the benefit of humanity, standing at the intersection of worlds. Their teachings and messages have far-reaching implications that go well beyond individual enlightenment; they are essential for promoting interdimensional peace and extending human views.
We are encouraged to look into the breadth of our own existence and the interdependence of all things under their direction. Their lessons push us to broaden our horizons, accept the multiplicity of cosmic knowledge, and acknowledge our position in a far more expansive, multidimensional universe. The development of interdimensional harmony—a state of consciousness in which people move in time with the larger cosmic rhythms and are conscious of their influence across dimensions—requires this broadening of vision.
There are dangers along the way for these interdimensional communicators. Ignoring or misinterpreting their communications has serious consequences. Humanity loses priceless insights into the essence of reality and our capacity for development when their teachings are written off as pure fiction or interpreted through the prism of a narrowly focused perspective. Ignoring these messages can cause spiritual development to stall, and misinterpreting them can lead to foolish decisions that upset the delicate balance of interdimensional relations.
If we disregard the knowledge imparted by these Lightworkers, we may find ourselves oblivious to the chances for growth and the cosmic interactions affecting our day-to-day existence. Interdimensional communicators help humanity navigate the challenges of coexisting in the universe by acting as essential bridges between the visible and invisible. The translation of interdimensional wisdom by them is essential to the advancement of human awareness and the preservation of cosmic balance. Let us have an open mind to the insights of these Lightworkers as we make our way through the vastness of the cosmos, acknowledging the significant influence their teachings have on our quest for comprehension, harmony across dimensions, and unification.
The Lightworkers are important for a third reason: they are the elemental harmonizers, driven by a deep awareness of the requirements of the earth, and they labor tirelessly to prevent natural imbalances and disasters. The prophet Elijah's narrative is a moving illustration. He demonstrates his great mastery over the weather, an elemental force, when he declares a drought upon Israel, a result of the people's idolatry and its subsequent cease at God's order.
This biblical story emphasizes the need of Lightworkers in preserving harmony in the natural world in addition to demonstrating the potential to affect natural events. Their interventions serve as a timely reminder of the precarious balance that exists between human activity and environmental reaction, raising awareness of sustainability and promoting environmental respect among all people..
The consequences of human behavior that upsets these sensitive balances highlight the vital role that elemental harmonizers play. In a time when industrial endeavors and technical breakthroughs have separated humanity from its origins. Ecological deterioration, climate change, and other environmental crises that jeopardize the balance of life itself are the results of our disengagement.
The elemental harmonizers, with their special capacity to communicate with and affect natural forces, are rays of hope working to lessen these negative consequences. Their work emphasizes how critical it is to have a renewed relationship with the land that respects its boundaries and recognizes the intricate interdependence of all living things.
The connection between the natural world and humans is embodied by elemental harmonizers. Their mastery over the elements and tireless attempts to avert ecological imbalances serve as both protectors and healers of the land, and they are essential in helping us navigate the challenges of our times as the Earth faces never-before-seen threats. As the importance of these Lightworkers grows, we are all urged to heed their counsel and join the effort to bring peace and balance back to the planet we all call home.
Their ability to serve as catalysts for collective evolution is the fourth factor that highlights the crucial role Lightworkers have played in human history. These people possess the rare capacity to inspire humanity toward progress and enlightenment because they are marked by destiny and motivated by a purpose greater than themselves.
Their presence among us challenges us to rise above our limitations and strive for a better state of collective being. It is not only a beacon of hope. It is a force for change. Moses is a prime example of this transformational force; he was selected by God to lead the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery.
His journey's completion, which is symbolized by the Red Sea parting, is not only proof of divine intervention but also a significant advancement in society. Moses led people through one of the biggest transformations in Biblical history—from enslavement to freedom and from hopelessness to faith. This story demonstrates the remarkable influence Lightworkers can have on the path of human history by showing how their leadership can help society move through turbulent times and toward new frontiers of understanding and harmony.
These visionary leaders face many obstacles on their journey because they must consider the possibility of regression or stagnation when their influences are rejected or their visions are not supported. Many examples of periods of stagnation, when society growth was stopped and opportunities for revolution were squandered, can be found throughout history when the messages of Lightworkers were greeted with skepticism or downright hatred.
This resistance to change, which is frequently the result of misunderstanding or fear, emphasizes how vital it is to be receptive to the revolutionary ideas that these people have to give. It reminds us that the process of collective evolution is not passive but rather involves actively pursuing the concepts and goals that have the capacity to fundamentally alter the course of human history.
Those regarded as Lightworkers become destiny's architects. Their legacies and lives are entwined with the advancement of humanity. They serve as catalysts for our collective progress, which is a cry to humanity to pay attention, to learn, and support the movement of change they personify.
By answering their call and being open to the opportunities they offer, we can participate in the great undertaking of group development and advance toward a future characterized by knowledge, harmony, and enlightened comprehension.
The spiritual authority and heavenly protection that Lightworkers are thought to possess is the fifth reason that emphasizes the enormous impact that they have on human existence. This protection gives them courage to carry out their worldly missions and is evidence of the divine power that watches over and protects them.
A powerful example of this heavenly protection is found in the story of Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednego, who were kept safe by God in the blazing furnace. Their narrative demonstrates the great safety that God's Lightworkers experience even in the face of grave danger; it is far more than just a biblical anecdote.
It represents the unwavering protection that spiritual authority bestows onto people who are entrusted with crucial roles in the unfolding of the divine plan. Their spiritual strength has an effect that goes beyond individual protection. It influences the path of events and shields the collective from harmful forces in order to act as a force for positive change.
Lightworkers are endowed with a spiritual strength that allows them to face darkness with Light, hopelessness with despair, and disharmony with harmony. They are like a heavenly energy beacon in the world, keeping out negativity and creating an atmosphere that is conducive to positive change. They act in a way that modifies history and raises the collective consciousness, all while being shielded by spiritual armor and directed by a higher wisdom.
These spiritually gifted people have difficulties on their path. There is a serious risk in questioning their spiritual purity or undervaluing the impact of their supernatural support. To disagree with them or minimize the sacred duty they bear is to sow discord not only within one's own circle but also throughout the larger community.
Any attempt to undermine the spiritual authority bestowed upon them by higher powers is dangerous and pointless, as it serves as a cornerstone for their mission. It emphasizes how crucial it is to acknowledge and honor the spiritual sovereignty and heavenly protection that Lightworkers represent. The potential of Lightworkers to affect and safeguard the world through their stories is greatly influenced by their spiritual authority and divine protection. We are reminded of the strength of faith and the existence of divine intervention in protecting individuals on a sacred mission through the stories of Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednego. Recognizing their vital role in the spiritual advancement of humanity, let us take inspiration from their unshakable dedication and the heavenly shield protecting them as we traverse the challenges of our own lives.
The sixth reason Lightworkers are essential to the evolution of human awareness is that they have unrivaled access to hidden and age-old wisdom. This vast store of knowledge, built over eons in the crucibles of time, has the power to completely change the way we live and see the world.
As stewards of this sacred code, Lightworkers have knowledge that can solve life's mysteries and provide doors to deep metamorphosis and enlightenment. They can look past the masks of the everyday into the very center of the cosmos, where the mysteries of life and the universe are whispered, thanks to their connection to this ancient wisdom.
Their role in sharing this information is not random; rather, it arises when mankind is about to become ready and is hungry for development and enlightenment. Lightworkers are like gardeners of the human spirit; they sense when to plant the seeds of wisdom and make sure that the information they impart takes root in the collective consciousness.
This dispersal ignites sparks of enlightenment and progress that spread throughout societies, cultures, and eras, serving as a catalyst for humanity's evolution. They lead humanity down the path of intellectual and spiritual awakening, turning ancient wisdom into a lantern in the dark.
The loss that results from undervaluing or ignoring these knowledge bearers' contributions emphasizes how important their position is. Such disdain not only dims the Light of our shared progress but also wastes priceless knowledge that may bring in new ages of harmony and understanding. Rejecting or undervaluing their offers causes a deliberate blindness that impedes humanity's progress toward reaching its full potential.
Their insight is like a blueprint to hidden treasure; it points the way to fresh vistas of collaboration, comprehension, and opportunity. As guardians of secret knowledge, Lightworkers act as links between the known and the unknown, the old and the future. It is a sacred trust that gives them access to and the ability to share this wisdom, which has the capacity to alter the fundamental fabric of human existence. Let us be receptive to the wisdom of these knowledge keepers as we work through the difficulties of modern life and the intricacies of our own, understanding that their age-old law holds the secrets to our future development, enlightenment, and the realization of our shared destiny.
The seventh factor that emphasizes how essential Lightworkers are to the fabric of our shared path is their special capacity to transform negative forces into positive results even in the midst of life's turbulent storms. These people are Lights of hope, with an almost alchemical ability to transform difficulties, roadblocks, and the darkness of negativity into gilded opportunities for development and enlightenment.
Their presence serves as a reminder that, even in the midst of hardship, there is always a potential seed that needs to be nourished to maturity. Not only do Lightworkers possess the ability to change energies, but they also actively assist in guiding people and communities, which makes them healers and transformers.
They see through the maze of hardship and recognize the opportunity for transformation that lies beyond the immediate upheaval. Their interventions, which are frequently characterized by compassion and insight, serve as catalysts for advancement, healing, and change. What was formerly thought to be an impenetrable barrier is transformed by their influence into a stepping stone, an opportunity for rejuvenation, and a chance to fortify one's spirit. They impart to us the knowledge that every adversity serves as a catalyst for growth, for overcoming obstacles and emerging stronger and more cohesive than before.
The realization of what is lost when their counsel is disregarded or when the maze of negativity is let to rule is what most profoundly underscores the importance of their talent. When the transforming power of Lightworkers is disregarded, chances for progress and healing are lost, trapping people and civilizations in hopeless cycles of stagnation. It is a deliberate blindness to the Light that they provide, a Light that can illuminate pathways leading to a more promising future.
Lightworkers are masters of optimism and rejuvenation because of their remarkable capacity to transform the negative into the positive. Their existence among us serves as a reminder to welcome the transformational power of hardship, to look past problems to find hidden chances for development, and to see the world around us. Let us be receptive to their direction as we travel through life, appreciating their healing and transformative power as a priceless gift with the capacity to change our world, mend our scars, and lead us toward a future full of opportunities and Light.
Through our exploration, we have revealed the numerous justifications that highlight the sense in honoring and assisting these extraordinary people. They are the essential designers of a more promising future. Their difficult yet rewarding path bears witness to their vital role in assisting humanity's progress toward harmony and enlightenment.
With their incredible gifts and burdens, the Lightworkers among us serve as a constant reminder of the value of diversity and beauty, peaceful cohabitation, and the strength that comes from oneness. They invite us to accept a vision of the world where every soul's contribution is recognized and where every endeavor toward enlightenment and peace is honored. They serve as living bridges between the seen and unseen, the past and the future.

Back when I first saw this show I went for 'OK if *I* created this Verse, what would I do with it':
And when the comics came out, I realized I did predict one arc that I did ultimately as a kind of 'Buffyverse meets Timeline-191' as a love letter to one of my favorite authors and favorite genres. Originally Nehemiah Malloy was Jefferson Featherston, and the Freedom Party was 100% a Turtledove riff instead of a 70% Turtledove riff that incorporated elements.
And that was mainly because 'supernatural fully exposed and the revelation the government was lying to people about it and trying to weaponize it allows a genocidal demagogue to rise to power exploiting actual demons and non-human monsters in the shadows' is a blindingly obvious plot point.
But after working on this thing since, essentially, I first started trying to write stories on my own I now have the satisfaction of fully doing 'Buffy if The Lightdancer had written it instead of Joss Whedon.' I'm sure there'd be plenty of stuff that'd be cringy as Hell and that might age poorly in its own ways in 20 years but this is ultimately my own vision, not his, and I am proud to say I've finally taken it from outline to finish.
And it starts and ends on the same note, the two witches whose journey is the lodestar this version of the Verse is written around meeting at the end as they did at the beginning, and an unironic and unapologetic assertion of love as superior to hatred, with the final chapter equally holding to one of my creative focuses with my own work.
Namely that the ends are to a point open ones, because while characters are vehicles to tell a story, the end of a story allows them to feel alive and like their decisions are their own, as an assertion of another truism that freedom and the ability to choose as one wills are innately good and in this small way this too can and should be asserted.

"The Musicians." From the Book of Nehemiah, "the Exploration of the Mysteries of the Lions that Lay," 11: 22-23.
Tumblr media
Nehemiah continues to explain how politicians and nobles should bond to the people and the people to their town managers. Just as a good friend would not allow a burglar or a rapist come along and molest your kids and steal your dog, the government must not allow freaks and fuckups to do this to its citizens.
He calls the aspect of man that orchestrates the activities that create unity of purpose musicians. Musicians are 472, דזב‎‎, dazev, "understands humanity."
If you are one those persons that likes to stir things up and watch the cacaphony echo, you need ear training and music lessons. The Nsh however, must be a virtuoso:
22 The chief officer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mika. Uzzi was one of Asaph’s descendants, who were the musicians responsible for the service of the house of God.
23 The musicians were under the king’s orders, which regulated their daily activity.
In English the above passages read:
Uzzi, son of Bani=the builder, the agent of refuge.
Hashabiah= praise, betterment
Mattaniah= starts up
Mika= the poetic subtext of the heart, what is heartening vs. what is disheartening
Asaph= collector
An officer of the musicians then is a politician who understands what motivates the people to engage in cooperation. A confident presidential candidate for example would have stated the border problem was going to be solved for the sake of the greater good in the following ways....
"Hidden behind this divisive rhetoric—and the sensationalist political and media narratives that shape it—lies a dynamic policy arena filled with new and innovative solutions. These efforts aim to support the success of immigrants in their host communities while helping those communities address labor and demographic challenges. This paper describes several of these initiatives and suggests how they can be subjected to rigorous testing to make meaningful improvements to U.S. immigration policy.
Despite substantial evidence pointing to the positive economic and social impacts of migration for sending countries, host communities, and migrants themselves, there is a significant evidence gap on which policies and programs are most effective in optimizing the benefits and mitigating the costs of migration.
With the economic contributions of migrants projected to reach $20 trillion by 2050, it is as important as ever to invest in rigorous testing and scaling of the most promising policies, programs, and innovations in ways that have helped transform other policy domains, from economic development to public health. By showing the public that immigration can work, evidence-based solutions can help diffuse the toxic politics surrounding the issue and assure Americans that these policy investments are well spent for the public good."
Retrieved from: https://carnegieendowment.org/research/2024/08/united-states-immigration-reform-evidence?lang=en.
We are actually very effective at resolving the complications associated with immigration. A candidate that states the opposite is a fucktard, a troublemaker, a liar, and should not be allowed to harbor the desire to hold public office. One that "starts up" a program to hold all humanity together is the one we want.
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 22: ...responsible for service to the house of God.The Number is 12424, יבדבד‎, yevbaded, "say goodbye."
This refers to the Wave Offering= "Say goodbye to idle words."
After the Exodus, the Israelites gave all they had to the engineers for the making of a golden calf. God shit razor blades over this. The Wave Offering is mankind's redemption, the offering of valuables for the sake of the Haggadah, the rescue of mankind from its misfortunes. This starts when politicians do their homework, prepare, and speak the truth to their constitutuents as to how we are going to employ our ample time, money, and technology to solve our problems.
From Vayakhel:
20 Then the whole Israelite community withdrew from Moses’ presence, 21 and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments.
22 All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds: brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the Lord.
23 Everyone who had blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen, or goat hair, ram skins dyed red or the other durable leather brought them. 24 Those presenting an offering of silver or bronze brought it as an offering to the Lord, and everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the work brought it. 25 Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun—blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen.
26 And all the women who were willing and had the skill spun the goat hair. 27 The leaders brought onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece. 28 They also brought spices and olive oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.
29 All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought to the Lord freewill offerings for all the work the Lord through Moses had commanded them to do.
We cannot force people to do good. This is why we employ religion to convince them trying is worth the effort.
v. 23: They were under the king's orders to regulate their daily activity. The Number is 5790, ץז‎ה, tzaza, "Get out of this."
We are juggling self-inflicted problems and their agonists instead of doing what is right. The US Gov is being run by terrorists. Other countries are resisting, their despots, we have thrown open the doors.
FOR ONCE can the White House please empathize with what it is like to live under a tyrant and show the people mercy?
This is not musicianship, it is not even learning to play the scales. The President and all chief executives must be able to recognize when life is out of balance and tend to the general welfare. This is his job. The people must volunteer to help.

Power Start your day with the WORD!
“I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come. Why should I stop working to come and meet with you?” Nehemiah 6:3
Nehemiah loved and feared God and felt prompted by Him to leave the corporate world to take on a project that seemed impossible from any point of view. Yet he knew God was in it, so he took the great risk and returned to Jerusalem to begin the process of rebuilding. We love shiny new things. It takes grit and grace and vision to take on an old thing and make it new again. Yet that’s what Jesus has done for us. He met us in our mess and brokenness, and He made us new again. We are His masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus so that we can do the wonderful things He’s planned for us. But if we never grasp the value of our lives, we’ll never comprehend the importance of our work. And if we never comprehend the importance of our work, we’ll not discern the enemy’s attempts to distract us from that work. May you walk so intimately with God that you’re acutely aware of your value and divinely aware of your calling. May you be able to say along with Nehemiah, “Im doing a great work and I will not be distracted by the enemy of my soul.” Not today. Not any day! #SusieLarsonQuotes #PREVAIL

Morning and Evening with A.W. Tozer Devotional for September 10
Tozer in the Morning We Travel an Appointed Way
Nehemiah, the good, rose up from his weeping to do something about a vision God had laid on his heart. Under divine providence, he was soon transported from Shushan to his beloved city, Jerusalem, armed with authority and equipped with materials to rebuild the ruined city. . . .
The first device of the "enemy," upon hearing of the undertaking, was to heap ridicule on the whole plan. Sanballat, Tobiah and Geshem laughed Nehemiah and his helpers to scorn. Undeterred, Nehemiah replied with firm assurance, "The God of heaven, he will prosper us." And the work went on according to plan.
After all other means had failed to hinder the reconstruction, the conspirators tried to arrange for a conference with Nehemiah. The man of God saw in this an evil purpose to do him mischief and divert him from his monumental work. His reply to the would-be mischief-makers is classic, and might well be adopted for the all-time stock reply to all such overtures: "I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?" (Nehemiah 6:3).
The great task to which God had called Nehemiah was so important that every other consideration must be waived. Would that we might have such an overpowering sense of being about our Father's business and be so impressed with the grandeur of our task that we would reject every suggestion of the evil one that would bid us take up some lesser pursuit. Let us rout him with the words that date back to 445 B.C., and which cannot be improved upon: "I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down."
Tozer in the Evening Pythagorus Three Classes of Humanity
The Greek philosopher Pythagoras is said to have divided men into three classes: 1. Seekers after knowledge. 2. Seekers after honor. 3. Seekers after gain. It would be interesting if not too edifying to look for Pythagoras three classes in modern society. 1. Seekers after knowledge. These are no longer called philosophers, lovers of wisdom, but scholars, professors, scientists, who love knowledge for itself. These are intellectual magpies with a compulsive tic that drives them to collect all the shiny bits of knowledge possible; fortunately for them there are enough others with the same tic to provide them with a means of making some kind of a living here below. 2. Seekers after honor. These are the politicians. They have an incurable itch to be known in the gates, and as a means toward this end they manage to work up a convincing if phony patriotic fever every four or six years that brings them votes and enables them to ride in the front car in the Memorial parade. Thei r reward is in being applauded by the masses they secretly despise, and verily they have their reward. 3. Seekers after gain. These are at the top honest businessmen who become wealthy within the law, and at the bottom racketeers who gain their wealth outside the law. Morally these latter differ not at all from the ordinary bandit, but they differ socially because they are smarter, have read a book and know a better lawyer.

Mattana Ministry
Welcomes You To:
Daily Bible Study: 7 July 2024
Theme: Book of Nehemiah (4)
Scripture: Neh. 11; Neh. 12; Neh. 13; 2 Tim. 3:16 & Ps.119:9
Message:
STRAIGHT AND SINCERE
Nehemiah was not only a prophet who delivered the Word of God, but he was also a leader in God's great project in Jerusalem. As a leader, Nehemiah was a strict and very disciplined man. We can see Nehemiah's attitude toward the rulers, the priests who had wrong motivation. Nehemiah took assertive action against them and to those whose lives were not glorifying God, as well.
This is also an important lesson for us as believers. Indeed, we live in the grace of God but we need to be assertive towards ourselves to keep our lives holy before the Lord.
The psalmist wrote that a young man can keep his life right before God by keeping his life according to the Word of God. (Psalm 119:9) So, in the midst of the darkness of this world we can live in favor before God if we keep the Word of God as our guidance.
To discipline our thoughts and our words is the most important thing as disciples of Christ. The Holy Spirit within us will help us by reminding us the Word of God we have read. If our hearts are willing to submit to His words and we sincerely carry out His commands, then surely our path will be straight. Do not compromise on sin and we will be led into holiness.
We need to be firm with ourselves to keep our lives holy before God.

Vibrant Hope – Regroup and Rebuild the Wall
Monday 6/3/2024
Nehemiah 4:17-23 (NKJV) 17 Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. 18 Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me. 19 Then I said to the nobles, the rulers, and the rest of the people, “The work is great and extensive, and we are separated far from one another on the wall. 20 Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.” 21 So we labored in the work, and half of the men held the spears from daybreak until the stars appeared. 22 At the same time I also said to the people, “Let each man and his servant stay at night in Jerusalem, that they may be our guard by night and a working party by day.” 23 So neither I, my brethren, my servants, nor the men of the guard who followed me took off our clothes, except that everyone took them off for washing.
Nehemiah 4:17-23:
What were their aims?
Their goal was to reconstruct the wall of Jerusalem in order to safeguard the city and its residents from potential threats.
What were their challenges?
The challenges they faced included opposition and threats from enemies who did not want to see the wall rebuilt. They also had to deal with physical exhaustion and the enormity of the task at hand.
How did they overcome them?
To address these challenges, they stayed alert and collaborated as a team. They established a system in which half of the workers kept watch with their weapons while the other half focused on building the wall. This arrangement enabled them to work on the construction while also being ready to protect themselves if needed.
What did they depend on to fight?
They relied on God to battle for them, having faith in His protection and guidance as they reconstructed the wall.
What are the recommendations and prayers?
The recommendation is to stay united and vigilant in the face of opposition, relying on God for strength and protection. The prayer could be for God's continued guidance and protection as they work to accomplish their goal.
This passage emphasizes the importance of relying on God's strength and working together in unity to overcome challenges and achieve goals.
Here are some prayer points based on Nehemiah's story and the rebuilding of the wall:
1. Gratitude: Thank God for His faithfulness and provision in the midst of challenges, just as He was faithful to Nehemiah and the people of Jerusalem.
2. Unity: Pray for unity among the family, team, or community, asking for God's help in fostering a spirit of cooperation and mutual support as they work towards their common goal.
3. Protection: Pray for God's protection over the project, asking Him to guard against any opposition or threats that may arise, just as He protected Nehemiah and the workers as they rebuilt the wall.
4. Strength and Perseverance: Pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual strength for everyone involved in the project, asking God to sustain them through any exhaustion or discouragement they may face.
5. Guidance: Seek God's guidance in making wise decisions and overcoming obstacles, just as Nehemiah sought God's wisdom in leading the people to rebuild the wall.
6. Trust in God: Pray for a deepening of trust in God's sovereignty and faithfulness so that they may continue to depend on Him for strength and guidance throughout the project.
These prayer points can be adjusted to fit the specific requirements and circumstances of any family, group, or community working toward a shared objective.

From the Rubble
Nehemiah found that Jerusalem’s city wall had been reduced to rubble. One of the most remarkable rebuilding projects in ancient history followed as Nehemiah prayed, strategized, and mobilized workers to reconstruct the entire wall in just a few months. In doing so, he left an example for anyone who seeks to rebuild, whether the rubble is physical- or marital. The next step is confessing your…
