[ … ] ❀ you’re not from around here , are you? i figured because you totally just missed { rhodes shephard } walking by. don’t tell me you don’t know who { he/him } is/are ? they kind of look like { tom blyth } and i could be wrong but i think that they might be { thirty one } years old right now. they’ve been living in palmview for the last { four years }. and i don’t know if anyone has ever told them this before but they kind of remind me of { fred jones } from { scooby doo }. if you stick around the town long enough you might catch them in action working at { - } as a { small business owner/entrepreneur }. you see this town isn’t really that big of a place, some folks like to call them the { dreamer } of palmview! they took a liking to the name too after a while, go figure. oh crap, they must have heard me yapping. they’re coming this way. i got to warn you though, rumor has it they can pretty { impulsive } at times. i wouldn’t take it too seriously though, from the times i’ve spoken to them they seemed pretty { resourceful } to me. we see each other all the time since they live in that { three bedroom } apartment beside me over in { coral cove }. i better leave you to it. it was nice meeting you!  { jules. 27. she/her. central. }

But, initially, his actions and capital movements have raised the suspicions of Swiss banks that smelled something fishy was going on, seeing the movement of millions of euros between Switzerland and Naples, an area infamous for the penetration of financial crimes in general. International news and reports made reference to a massive illegal trade and disposal of toxic waste in Italy and nearby regions–a trade that was growing multiple millions annually. Based on late 2021 FATF study findings, the prohibited trafficking and dumping of hazardous waste materials skyrocketed to a crazy 12 billion euros every year, and in Italy alone, the trade was estimated to be worth 1.2 billion.
After residing in Switzerland for some years, Giovanni Lomaestro had a change of strategy and chose to move to the highly lucrative Monte-Carlo. There he recycled more than a million euros by getting, renovating, and re-selling properties on a semi-legal basis.
Giovanni Lomaestro now employs several experienced money-launderers who support his business and help him launder the millions he pocketed from the illegal trade and disposal of waste. These include Italian mafia associates as well as companies that appear to be perfectly legal on paper.

What was your route into jewellery?
It was a natural progression to provide head-to-toe styling to our clients so they wouldn’t have the need to go anywhere else.
How is business in the US?
We are fortunate to have experienced tremendous growth. Since the beginning of this business, we have consistently invested in smaller, up-and-coming designers. By doing so, we have grown alongside those designers and developed great relationships. Our stylists incorporate our exquisite jewellery with casual clothing, creating even more options for jewellery wear. Our efforts have paid off as we have been able to expand and add an additional shop in Palm Beach, Florida; the shop is doing very well and was just awarded Best New Business in Palm Beach.
Do you sell more online or in store?
Both online and in-store sales have been doing equally as well. They truly balance each other out and support each other. Our boutiques have consistent loyal fans that love to shop in person, more for the experience and attention to detail from our staff. Although, since the pandemic, our online sales have done exceptionally well. In 2020, e-commerce sales went up 110%.
How have you adapted to the pandemic?
We were growing faster than normal online, so we revamped the website and made sure sales associates were easily accessible to online shoppers. We would also go live on Instagram with designers to showcase their collections. These few small measurements paid off by being able to connect virtually with local clientele and with our international buyers. Also offered to our local clientele was same-day delivery in our well-known Marissa Collections pink van. Our jewellery sales increased, as people were spending less going out and more on valuable jewellery and possessions.
What smaller brands do you carry?
We continuously seek out emerging designers that are new and upcoming. Often, our smaller designers can’t be found everywhere else, and it gives us the chance to shine a spotlight on emerging designers.

We are consistently growing and reaching new clientele, especially online and across the globe. Locally, we have generational clients who have been with Marissa Collections since we started decades ago.
