Let’s Begin

Over the past year, so many things have changed. Of course, change is normal. Everyone’s lives are like that. But when the changes make you second guess yourself, doubt your circumstances, question your relationships, and leave you wondering where things went wrong ... well, do we do just sweep those thoughts under the rug and go on? As I said, change is normal. Surely everyone feels this way. Of course they do. But it’s how we handle it that separates us. So what do we do about all these feelings, all these questions? Talk it through? Get advice? Unfortunately, not enough. We bottle things up to keep up the appearance that we are managing. To convince ourselves that ‘we’ve got this’ or to simply hide the struggles. This is why I created this little space. This isn't’ a platform to share just my issues and questions. It is OUR platform, to help us break that isolation. To connect to others. To remind ourselves that we aren’t the only ones thinking and feeling what we do. If one person feels less lonely/confused/isolated, after reading these posts, then goal achieved. Because this isn’t a diary of my life. This is our life. The public life of us.
