For instance, try one of the many glamorous Club Med Golf Resorts with beautiful fairways in the most unforgettable, inviting locations around the world. Club Med offers deals including the best equipment and golf lessons for all levels! Its locations include Cancun, Mexico, as well as Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Other locations span the world: Turks and Caicos, Mauritius, Portugal, France, Italy, Brazil, Thailand, Morocco, Egypt, Senegal, and in the United States--Sandpiper Bay, Florida.
Scotland has some of the most beautiful golf courses in the world and there are approximately 100 resorts, called "golf hotels," among the 500-plus golf courses throughout the country. Best known are Turnberry, Gleneagles and The Old Course Hotel St. Andrews. Each of these has spa, leisure facilities, excellent restaurants and "golf tuition" packages for all levels.
Mexico has numerous golf resorts perched in luxurious coastal locations. There are golf resorts at Cancun, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos. Also, Mexico has its championship Baja version of California's famous "Pebble Beach" golf resort, called Bajamar, only a few hours' drive from San Diego in Ensenada.
For the United States, check online for some of the golf resorts suggested by key magazines such as Golflink's which publishes The Top 100 United States Golf Courses. This issue ranks the best out of more than 21,000 public and private golf courses across the country. However, within that one hundred courses, you want to search for the resorts with package programs and golf lessons. Among the top hundred, you will find that the main vacation-destination states with golf resorts are in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, South Carolina and Texas. Let's review these states for their best locations:
In sunny, always temperate Florida, Club Med's Sandpiper Bay Golf Academy offers 2-day and 3-day golf courses. The Academy includes all aspects of the game, such as Chipping, Putting, Bunker, Pitching and Lob Shot, Full Swing with Irons and Woods. A video analyzing your swing is provided, as well as an optional video comparing your swing to that of a pro player. Also, the area within and around Miami has regional golf resorts for year-round vacationing. Each resort offers on-site amenities and services, both on and off the course, and minutes away from major Miami attractions, like South Beach and Miami MetroZoo. You will have a multitude of options during a golf vacation here.
Arizona has a climate that is suitable for many months of the year and Scottsdale has nearly 200 golf courses, many with the picturesque backdrop of the Sonoran Desert. It is a golf destination with golf schools and pro shops. Here, many resorts offer high-quality accommodations and championship golf courses. Most golf resorts offer packages where hotel guests can have discounted green fees. Also, Sedona, Arizona, offers numerous golf resorts with a mild year-round climate and spectacular red-rock scenic views.
In California, Pebble Beach has been known for being a small coastal golf destination nestled in beautiful Monterey County. It is home of the prominent Pebble Beach Golf Links, the Pebble Beach Lodge and the prestigious Inn at Spanish Bay. Each year, golfers return to rub shoulders with golf professionals and experience nature at its finest on the magnificent golf course laid out by leading golf course designers. The harmony of golf layouts and the majestic coast are awe-inspiring!
Another golfer's paradise is conveniently located along the south Atlantic coast at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. It combines natural beauty and world-class golf on a barrier island 12 miles long and five miles wide. Nicklaus, Palmer and other golf legends have frequently played these championship courses. Since the first course opened at Sea Pines in 1961, there are now emerald links at Harbour Town and outstanding courses in Bluffton, as the Hilton Head area has become a major golf center. It is legendary for its spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, scenic marshes, and maritime forests with abundant wildlife. The temperate climate and year-round sunshine also makes Hilton Head Island the perfect place to tee off.
Las Vegas, Nevada, is quietly emerging as one of the United States' fastest growing golf destinations amidst the glitz and glamour of its casinos. The city's huge convention center and innumerable hotel rooms make it a natural haven for large-scale golf events. With the year-round sunshine and mild temperatures, and plenty to do after a full day of playing golf from gambling to seeing entertaining shows, this golf destination will continue to grow.
CNN ranked Austin, Texas the No. 1 city for golf in its Golf.com of 2010. Framed by the Texas Hill Country, Austin's golf courses are among the best in the United States. The region is highlighted by the Wolfdancer Golf Club which was named No. 56 in Golfweek's top 100 resort golf courses in 2009. In addition to being a great contemporary music city, and home of numerous celebrities, Austin offers vacationing golfers great barbeque, an idyllic, year-round climate and luxury accommodations.
Your best package deal will be at all-inclusive resorts, where air flight, lodging, meals and golf activities are rolled into one price. On the other hand, consider traditional hotels and resorts in the locations suggested. With a little online planning, one of the finest golf resorts in the world can be your affordable choice. Enjoy the location, the exploration of the region while you improve your golf game and provide a joyful, well-rounded vacation for your family and loved ones!

Choosing All-Inclusive Mexico Resorts
Mexico or the United Mexican States is North America's federal constitution republic. It is one of the world's most visited countries. It offers several interesting historical sights, miles of palm trees and white sandy beaches. The most popular vacation spots in Mexico are Cozumel, Cancun, Taxco, Acapulco, Mexico City and Cuernavaca. These places promise a thriving nightlife, interesting attractions and comfortable Mexico resorts as well as hotels.
Baja California - Here, popular vacation spots are San Jose Del Cabo, Cabo san lucas excursions and La Paz. Aside from its beaches, activities you can enjoy here include diving, whale watching and water sports.
Mexican Riviera - In this part of Mexico, popular vacation spots include Mazatlan, Ixtapa and Puerto Vallarta. It offers beautiful beaches by the Pacific coast, quiet hideaways, jungle escapes, romantic retreats and culture as well as arts venues.
Yucatan Peninsula - Places you can consider are Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, Cancun and Tulum, It features the ruins of the Old Mayan civilization, the beaches by the Gulf of Mexico and activities like dolphin watching as well as diving. Many honeymooners love Cancun for its luxury Mexico resorts and hotels that offer special promos, packages plus freebies.
Thus, if you'd rather go for a Spanish colonial feel, the best places in Mexico are Oaxaca, San Jose De Allende, Guadalajara and Mexico City.
Choosing All-Inclusive Mexico Resorts and Hotels
Going to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, particularly in popular vacation spots like Cancun, Cozumel, Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen ensures an assortment of activities, cuisines and entertainment - for the price of one package. By doing so, you don't need to worry about carrying cash around to pay for food, services and lodging. Even the airport-resort/hotel transfers are included. Tips and taxes are also part of the all-inclusive rate. Many think this is the economical way to spend a vacation. However, if you're the type who wants variety and not all of you eat much, getting an all-inclusive package isn't really a good option. This is since most of the vacation spots in Mexico are lined up with different restaurants, clubs, bars, discotheques and other live entertainment venues. This is not so convenient if you'll be spending your days touring these areas, which means, you won't be in the resort/hotel most of the time. Then again, there are also all-inclusive Mexico resorts that provide tours and excursions to the Mayan ruins as well as other area attractions.

Don't Be Afraid to Travel to Mexico
Mexico has been in the news a lot lately, unfortunately not very much of it good. We've all heard about the drug war being waged on the Mexican border and the countless number of murders, deaths and collateral damage suffered as a result. We've also heard stories about the H1N1 virus, how it reportedly originated in Mexico, and the many mistruths about it being widespread and virulent throughout the country.
I have a family trip planned to Puerto Vallarta Airport Transfers in thirty-two days. While I'm naturally concerned for the safety and well-being of my family members and myself, I'm not worried about my upcoming vacation - a much needed getaway - in the very least. Hopefully the information presented below will help dispel many of the untruths, rumors and public opinion about traveling to Mexico and ease the fears of others planning their vacation to this very beautiful and safe country.
Violence in Mexico The U.S. State Department has issued a travel alert for citizens traveling to certain parts of Mexico. It's true that violence stemming from a drug war between Mexican cartels holding tight to territories that have been under their control for decades and the Mexican army, police and U.S. police and military involved in the conflict has escalated and should cause concern. These areas, including Tijuana, Chihuahua City, Monterrey and Ciudad Juarez, have been deemed unsafe and should be avoided by travelers. Just recently, a kidnapping involving a U.S. Citizen occurred in Tijuana. Thankfully, the woman held captive for ransom has been rescued and has since returned home unharmed.
It should be noted that most of the violence in these areas has been primarily directed toward cartel and gang members, police and public officials. As was shown in the recent case involving the kidnapped vacationer in Tijuana, this statistic should do little to alleviate anyone's fear about traveling to these areas. Nor should it. However, I've noticed that many of those arguing against travel to Mexico altogether because of the drug war have said little, if anything, about the spillover into the U.S. I don't hear these people telling me to avoid San Diego, for instance. Canada and other countries issue advisories about traveling to the United States all the time. The same people in the U.S. advising family and friends to avoid travel to Mexico might be appalled to learn that areas in the U.S. they themselves travel to or call home may be on another country's list of places to avoid. Violence and crime exists everywhere, even in our own backyards.
Crime in Mexico Largely unaffected by the violence in the north, the tourist destinations of Cancun, the Riviera Maya and Puerto Vallarta, just to name a few, continue to see very little crime. Statistically-speaking, the principal tourist spots in Mexico have always been considered safe travel destinations. Most of the criminality in these areas consist primarily of petty crimes, such as theft, and other crimes that, with preparation and a dose of common sense, can be easily avoided.
The easiest rule to remember when traveling to Mexico, or any foreign country for that matter, is to stay alert and remain aware of your surroundings. Crimes against women should be a special concern, as many of the violent crimes that occur in Mexico involve rape. Whether you are a man or a woman, you should not stray out alone in Mexico, especially at night. A moonlit walk on the beach, though it sounds romantic, should be avoided. Stay on resort property or visit well-lit public places with others in your party, if possible. Place valuables in your hotel safe. Avoid using out-of-the-way ATM's, especially at night. Put simply, exercise common sense, understand the local laws, and research your destination and activities as much as possible and you'll return home safely with fond memories of your vacation.

Second, you can check with your local travel agent or the hotel where you are staying to see if there are any cheaper rental deals in your area. Sometimes, travel agents offer weekend package deals which include airfare, hotel stay, car rental services, and other complementary services. These packages can be really helpful especially if you only have a couple of days to spend on vacation in London. To make sure that you will not miss out on any deals, you must make your reservations at least a week before your trip.

You can also ask your friends who have traveled to London recently and ask for their advice in choosing the best car rental services.
Next, you can use the Internet to search for car rental companies that are offering cheap rental rates in London. In this way, you will be able to read customer reviews and testimonials about different agencies. This will give you an idea of what the agencies can offer you as a customer. You can also consult a travel agent, if you have time to talk to him about your travel plans so you can get an idea on how much the various car rental companies charge for the same type of service.

Currently identified conventional strategies for producing CNT composites depend on dispersing short nanotubes in polymer matrices or infiltrating CNT “buckypaper” with resins. Our recent work reveals that by stretching aligned carbon nanotubes before embedding them into polymer matrix, CNT composites have achieved unprecedented multifunctionalities, including file high tensile strength (3.8 GPa), Young’s modulus (293 GPa), electrical conductivity (1230 S cm-1) and thermal conductivity (40 W m-1 Ok-1). Nevertheless, despite intensive worldwide effort, it has been a challenge for two many years to assemble the extraordinarily strong carbon nanotubes into macroscopic CNT composites that break the power ceiling of carbon fiber composites. This has led to widespread analysis on the synthesis of multiscale CNT-primarily based polymeric composites aiming to transfer the intrinsic properties of CNTs from nanoscale to macroscale. The distinctive properties of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), equivalent to excessive strength and stiffness, extremely massive specific floor space, low density and excessive electrical and thermal conductivities, open up opportunities for a variety of functions. They need an environment friendly technique for sifting candidates, selecting expertise, and advertising them to a range of open roles.

Mexico
Mexico City (Apr 2021)
Summary
Spent a week in Mexico City's Roma Norte area.
Lodgings
Stayed in Airbnb in Roma Norte area. It’s central with easy access to food, groceries, restaurants, downtown area, etc. Unfortunately, there was no A/C in the unit, it's very much needed due to constant bad air quality, how warm/hot it was, and tons of mosquitoes so sleeping with open windows will net you many bites.
Cancun (Apr 2021)
Summary
Visited Cancun and nearby towns like Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and did some tours. Beware that the entire area is a huge tourist trap!
Where to Stay
DO NOT STAY in Cancun or these gated communities: Aldea Ha, Aldea Kiin, Aldea Ka'an, Aldea Umm.
Aldea gated communities are like maximum-security prisons with no safe foot access to food, groceries, restaurants, etc. To go anywhere, you have to have a car, take a taxi, or a Colectivo (cheapest option). We stayed at an Airbnb in Aldea Ha and had one of the worst Airbnb experiences ever. Each house in the Aldea communities run on their own gas and septic tank and during our stay, we ran out of gas and the Airbnb host asked us to pay for gas refuel, we pushed for reimbursement and got it but guests should have never been asked to do that in the first place. The place also reeked of sewage after a few days and was asked to dump Clorox down the drains 🤦
If you want to stay in Cancun, stay in an all-inclusive resort, otherwise, stay in Puerto Morelos which is in between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Unfortunately, Playa del Carmen, like Cancun, has turned into a major tourist trap.
Transportation
Cancun (and airport) and surrounding areas are run like a cartel with a lock on transportation options blocking out Uber, so tourists' primary option is expensive taxi rides. If possible, you should rent a car and drive to the attractions instead of joining fully-packed buses with families and screaming kids, required visits to tourist trap shops, and leaving little time at the ruins. airport taxi ride to Cancun downtown about $40.
Tours
If you must do tours, walk around in Puerto Morelos and talk to a tour agent in person. Their prices are usually better than what you would get in a hotel or hostel but you should always negotiate for an additional 20-30% off and arrange for pickup at your hotel/hostel. We took a tour that picked us up at our place and transferred to a big tour bus filled with families. The 4-in-1 Tulum, Coba, Cenote, and Playa del Carmen tour was conducted by Jesus Cocay company and was one of the worst tours I have ever taken in my life and I have taken many. At the Tulum ruins, we were given 10-15 mins to take pictures (way too short) and at Coba, the tour guide simply said go explore on your own without telling us where to go and we missed the most important ruin, Nohoch Mul Pyramid. Oh, one of the guides tried to fear-monger us into buying expensive insect repellant, instead, we went to a 7-Eleven and got one for half the price. When we told the guide that, he said "whatever" #TotalAsshat.
Eating Out
The best restaurant we ate at is Mar-Bella Fish Market in Puerto Moleros, it has fresh Ceviche and solid drinks but I was disappointed in the main fish dish which was overcooked. In general, almost all the cocktails are watered down and expensive, it’s another way they are fleecing tourists. Bring your own tequila bottle, order a juice and add your own alcohol, it’ll save you a ton of money.

Ok so no megapost...
So I need to apparently post little posts, not everything all at one. So here we go! This post starts from day 1 of joining the ship and goes up to Mexico.
Two bus loads of crew left from the hotel this morning, which was a lot more than I was expecting - it’s funny how they were all most likely staying in the hotel and I had no idea.
I slept pretty well, after saying bye to my friend - I’d managed to stay up till nine, so hopefully the jet lag won’t be too much of an issue, getting a jump on it now by getting up at 6 - which is about 2pm for my body clock. I guess being such a night owl is going to help me out here...
People are much more eager to help with bags here I’ve found - and it’s not just Americans! Taxi drivers in the UK I find will get your bag out of the car for you, but that’s about it. Here, the shuttle bus driver took my bag into the bus and almost all the way in to the hotel for me, and another crew member getting on the coach (who I am fairly sure is Russian) lifted my bag over the verge for me - unexpected but very nice!
The nerves are kicking in now for sure, but if I’ve forgotten things or anything like that, I guess we’ll just deal with it as we go!
Got to the port which is a lot like an airport but it’s mostly outside. It seems like most of the people here have been on before, and we all wait outside to be called in by department and show our passports. There’s a sign for the crew center which is where we apparently can transfer money and get phone cards but also pick up post.
It takes quite a while - there’s two buses of people to get through and it looks like there’s one guy from the casino who I chat to, he’s done this before, and a few musicians left too - there were lots more people for the galleys and for housekeeping.
Finally onto the ship and am bombarded with information - the theatres are amazing (and yes there are two of them), the ship is enormous and honestly I’m sure I’m going to get lost constantly. There’s crew areas hidden away everywhere which is pretty impressive and also very confusing.
We had a safety briefing on what to do in an emergency, lifejackets and that sort of thing - I’d never thought about it before but there’s no fire brigade or anything on a ship. I also got my schedule - there’s a new one every day delivered to my room, which is useful for me at least because I don’t have to remember anything.
I also got a phone card but I think I dropped it - I’ll try and get another one but hopefully I can just get on the wifi. Photos hopefully to follow!
Tried to meet up with the production manager but she didn’t turn up - she had to track down a dancer who was stuck in an Uber, I found out later.
Ok so a lot has happened in two days! The drill was a lot like the safety address for planes but all the passengers had to get to their muster stations and be scanned in. It was a lot of fun - they do it to the Loveboat music.
The two days I’ve been here have been a bit mad - we get our schedule for the next day at about 11PM. Then we just follow that! It tells you when you’re working, what you’re doing and where - at the moment I’m just shadowing people and making lots of notes - I’m really glad I brought my notebook.
In the evenings we have our show - there’s a different one every night, so at the end of it we have to strike the set and build a new one. The shows are pretty full on as well, it’s much more than I was expecting, but at the end of your contract you write up handover notes to tell the next person what to do. They have a running list for each show (which they call a track sheet) and a preset checklist but sometimes it’s not 100% clear. The guys are all really helpful though - I’m the only girl on the team apart from the production manager, who organises all the guest acts and also calls the show. She’s also the only Brit! Most of the guys are from the Philippines, but the sound guy is from the Ukraine, the crew chief (sort of a stage manager) is from India and they’re all lovely.
The work is a little strange because it’s sort of piecemeal, you set up a lecture and then break for an hour, and then set up something else and then break - I’m still finding my feet but there’s lots of time to learn stuff.
Meals sort of happen whenever - the crew mess is open I think all day, and the food is good - today there was a lot of excitement because they were serving fried chicken, which apparently only happens once a cruise. Some nights are formal nights though, like yesterday, so in between the two evening shows we got dressed up and went up to eat in the Atrium, which is right at the top and has a great view, windows all the way round.
There’s definitely a lot to learn, but I’m making notes of everything so hopefully I’ll be able to get on with stuff by myself soon.
I’m still getting used to the feeling of the ocean - it’s not making me sick or anything, it just catches you off guard every so often and sometimes makes you feel a bit dizzy just because the floor is moving.
There’s also the lack of internet - you can buy an internet card, but it’s quite expensive. I need to get in touch with the broadcasting department and make sure they’re showing the rugby, and when - I have seen adverts for it, but it’s in eastern time, and I don’t know where that’s for, or what time zone we’re in!
Because we’re sailing east, we also lose an hour of sleep every night as we cross into different time zones. I know we’re near Mexico now because I got a text - I still can’t use data because that goes live on the 10th. Sigfried - one of the other stage crew - said that AT&T do one of the best SIM cards for being on a cruise so I’ll look into that next time. The one other niggle I have is that the vending machine is out of Diet Coke! You can get it upstairs in the bars, but then you have to drink it there. I’m sure it’ll be restocked soon.
One thing that’s very different about working on a ship - it’s loud! It’s not impossible to deal with - these first couple of days I’ve been too tired for it to bother me really, but it’s when you have downtime that you really notice it! There’s always noise, and most of the time you don’t really know what it is.
We arrived in Puerto Vallarta today - it’s in Mexico and it is very very hot. Probably doesn’t help that I’m wearing jeans but I woke up late, so I just pulled on what I had and went. I’ve got Wi-fi in a shopping mall - which seems to be all everyone leaves for. It’s very very sunny - I’m still getting used to going outside to warm up! It’s also weird not feeling the ship moving now, which perhaps means I’m getting my sea legs?
