This creep acted like he was proud to be friends with a serial killer. He showed a picture to Kyle Sullivan that Gacy gave to Peck. At the time Kyle being a teenager didn't really know the details of Gacy's murders but he talk to his mother about it. The adults knew and they still allowed their kids to go to Peck's house. What the hell?!

The people that wrote those letters are now apologizing, some saying they were naive but how can you blame a 14/15 kid?

How can you write that the kid seduced or tempted this creep? It is beyond disgusting.

James Marsden for example wrote this:

“I assure you what Brian has been through in the last year is the suffering of 100 men,” adding that he has known Peck since he was a teenager.

A representative for Marsden did not immediately respond to a request for comment from PEOPLE.

Rider Strong who also wrote a letter to support Peck now says,

“Back then, you couldn't Google to find out what people were being charged with,” Strong said “In retrospect, he was making a plea deal and admitting one thing — which is all he admitted to us — but it looks like he was being charged with a series of crimes, which we did not know.”

I don't care if he couldn't search what his charges were, Strong knew it was about sexual abuse against a minor. He should have just stayed out of it instead of show support if he wasn't sure about the charges.

If all these people were friends with Peck I'm sure they knew he was penpals with a serial killer because he didn't hide it.
