Quillfire/Springload, trying to find a way to make it work with Springloads acid secretions and Quillfires quills?

“Stay still!” Springload hisses, his frame strained uncomfortably trying to not be poked.

“I’m trying, it’s not easy when you’re rubbing against me!” Quillfire squirms.

“Well, if you would just- Ow!” The brown decepticon’s writhing forces a spine into Springload’s servo plating.

“Sorry!”

There’s a long moment of the two staying silent. They both know that they’re not the most amazing fit for each other. This will always be difficult, wether they like it or not.

“Do you want to do something else…?”

“Could we watch one of those human movies?” Quillfire says hesitantly.

“Yeah. I’ll get it ready. I- I’d kiss you right now if-”

“I know.”

Favorite ships Grimlock x Bumblebee Bumblebee x Steeljaw Chop Shop x Kickback Vertebreak x Nightstrike Springload x Quillfire Honorable mention: Grimlock x Scowl Least favorite ships None. I honestly don’t care about other ships that isn’t in my list. I respect other ships.

A couple questions about Springtrap: 1. Is he still looking for Doradus in this AU? 2. Is Quillfire looking to steal him some meds? 3. How otherwise does Quillfire try to manage it?

Mun: Springload is a big fav of mine, so this is great for me.

1. Yup! He’s still going strong with his quest. He tends to go traveling for different lengths of time exploring and trying to find the lost city, but when his supplies are low or he just needs a break, he travels back to the city to be with his partner for a while. Sometimes he even tags along with the Scavenger group when they go backpacking around the world for treasure. While we all know efforts are in vain, he still comes back with a new story to tell. But he’s not giving up anytime soon that’s for sure.

2. After he ended up becoming a part of Springload’s life, Quillfire did everything he could to learn about his partner’s mental condition and learn how he could help. Once he got the recommendations of what medicine’s to go after (courtesy of several Decepticon medics around) Quillfire did take it upon himself to steal what he could, and does everything he can to ensure Springload takes his medicine every day. “The spirits know that they can sometimes be a vexing burden upon you, so they let me get you this medicine to help with that. Be sure to take X amount every day for them...and for me, please.”

3. Quillfire ultimately just supports his partner as much as he can. He understands that Springload’s psychosis isn’t anyone’s fault nor can it ever really be “cured”, and he just does his best to make sure it doesn’t get the best of Springload and cause him lasting harm. He lets him go on his travels and calls him up every day to check in on him (mostly on video call to see what’s going on. also, Back and Forth want to know where their other dad is too). It’s not always easy and sometimes he messes up, but Quillfire loves his partner and just wants him to be alright. In turn, Springload really does appreciate having someone looking out for him for a change (”The spirits bless me with this wonderful partner”)

Added note; I research and studied things like psychosis and schizophrenia in the past, but if you believe I can do better with my writing of portraying them, please let me know!

Nightstrike x Vertebreak

Nightstrike is a tsundere.

Vertebreak found his Sparkmate is being a tsundere adorable so he often like to tease about it.

When the Snaketicon is getting stressed about his work, his Sparkmate will come over and hug him and let out a purr.

Despite of Nightstrike being a tsundere, he can get very jealous.

Vertebreak always like to show any affections towards him.

Vertebreak prefers to show romantic affections rather than sexual affections.

Springload x Quillfire

Springload always care his Sparkmate more than Doradus ever since they got together.

Quillfire will get very angry and fire his quills if any bot tries to harm his loved one.

The Amphiboid knew that his skin is covered in acid so he can only hug his loved one just for a second though Quillfire didn’t mind because he already knew that Springload really loves him.

Chop Shop x Kickback

Like Quillfire, the Combiner is protective of his Sparkmate.

Chop Shop can get jealous sometimes when Righty, one of his components, spend a lot of time with the grasshopper Con.

Kickback’s antennas will go down when he got flustered or embarrassed.

The only precious thing that he really love is his Sparkmate!
