CN ROMARM S.A and Elbit Systems to Establish Artillery Center in Romania

Elbit Systems Ltd. and CN ROMARM S.A, through its subsidiary S Uzina Automecanica Moreni S.A. (UAM), have announced a cooperation agreement between the two companies in the field of artillery production. As part of the agreement, the parties will establish a Romanian Artillery Center, with the participation of additional local companies to enhance the domestic industrial base, generate additional employment opportunities and establish a strong foundation for sovereign artillery production in Romania. The cooperation agreement includes production of Elbit Systems’ 155mm ATMOS Advanced Mobile Howitzers including the transfer of know-how for the manufacturing, production, assembly and integration of the ATMOS howitzers. ROMARM and UAM will operate as the system integrator, with more than 50% of the total workshare. Moreni will also serve as a long-term local support and maintenance provider for the ATMOS Howitzers.

În scopul rezolvării unor nevoi ale Ministerului Apărării Naționale se pot valorifica și bunuri din existent, indiferent de starea acestora; d) prin dezmembrări, delaborări, distrugeri și demolări, în locurile special destinate acestor activități, când nu a fost posibilă sau eficientă aplicarea prevederilor lit. a)-c), cu respectarea strictă a reglementărilor în vigoare; e) prin donații către state aliate sau partenere, la solicitarea acestora, în scopul acordării sprijinului cu titlu de ajutor în situația temeinic justificată de evoluția mediului de securitate și când sunt afectate interesele României. (2) Forțele destinate apărării naționale pot face donații de produse din rezervele proprii, în starea în care se află. (3) Prin derogare de la prevederile art. 1.011 alin. (1) din Legea nr. 287/2009 privind Codul civil, republicată, cu modificările ulterioare, în cazul bunurilor care fac obiectul donațiilor prevăzute la alin. (2), donația se aprobă prin hotărâre a Guvernului, iar bunurile se predau donatarului de către forțele destinate apărării naționale din rezervele cărora sunt scoase. (4) Bunurile se predau donatarului pe bază de procese-verbale de predare-primire încheiate între părți. Transmiterea dreptului de proprietate al bunurilor ce fac obiectul donației are loc la data semnării proceselor-verbale. (5) Produsele din rezervele proprii ale forțelor destinate apărării naționale care fac obiectul donațiilor vor fi acumulate și împrospătate ulterior, în conformitate cu prevederile art. 6 alin. (1).
