on the downside the shampoo i stole ended up being conditioner and I had to go back out and buy it this time, on the plus side I made a good choice and got something cheap that will last a million years probably (but with none of the sulfates or shit I don't like!)

got paid yayyyyy okay so i bought perfume that was suggested to me for a astarion sort of scent, i bought a sample of Rêverie de Bergamote from miller harris to mix with beloved by stone & wit. i bought a 10ml roller of beloved bc brandy is a more rareish scent it seems? plus i like what the other scents there are so, if i dont care for the bergamot and rosemary smell i got here, i can maybe try something else. plus 65$ for a bottle is a bit much for me rn so. we shall see.

Rosemarypath.... a character i think about sometimes

He's not integral, but he's interesting

He was born into scrutiny, along with his brother, being the children of a Doctor. It's not against the code, but by this point in history it is a social taboo for someone in that position to have kits.

Rosemary and Dust had to work for recognition, and that made one desperate for it, while the other never expected it

The clan was displeased when Violetbloom announced her pregnancy. They tried to hide it, as she was their only doctor, but they weren't very good at it.

She could feel all the judgemental eyes upon her, and knew she had disappointed them. This was very heavy on her psyche, but Loongloom helped keep her afloat.

When the two were born, along with their fading sister, Violetbloom felt a wave of shame. It was this shameful and strained relationship she had to her kits that led to Rosemarypath's lack of expecting things from people.

He learned early on that to expect, was to be disappointed. So he doesn't.

its why hes so anxious but confident. he thinks he knows the way the world works; nothing is handed to you, you have to earn it. If you fail, you must work twice as hard to get back up

brindlebreeze helped him with this, a bit at least. she would praise him, gently reprimand him and remind him to take breaks. She was a great teacher, but he knew it likely wouldn't last

things were good, he was getting better, until the two Bloods arrived.

Ginger was charming, strong, protective, kind, smart and clever. He was able to read Rosemary like a book, and they quickly became close friends, along with Mushroom

Rosemary hoped it could be something more, but didnt try when Mushroombelly and the newly appointed and renamed Star Firedawn became mates.

a sense of sadness washed over him, staying until he stumbled into temp. deputyship under Asphodelblood while their star was on a mission elsewhere

They got along fine and... it was natural to get closer as they worked on keeping the clan running together.

Rosemary took a chance when Mushroom and Fire came back, confessing to Asphodel and being pleasantly surprised when they became mates.

... That was a long time ago, though.

Now, as Star Asphodelblood works on his campaigns and trade, Rosemarypath fades into the background, the love they once held having long since left.

He understands, losing family like that is very hard, especially when you're thrust into leadership right after...

but... the black cat secretly yearns for a reconciliation he knows will never come.
