Raidou Kuzunoha XIV is the most devil summoner

what number would raidou kuzunoha xiv be if he counted. he also appears in smt 3 but specifically not when dante is there. (they occupy the same role in different versions of the game) i dont know if that distinction matters but i am curious

Raidou Kuzunoha XIV has a Ryu Number of 2.

You are correct in that distinction does matter in general: Dante from the Devil May Cry series was exclusive to the Maniax director's cut rerelease of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series, and Raidou was his replacement in the Maniax Chronicle rerelease. As such, the two are mutually exclusive and Nocturne by itself cannot be used as a link between the two.

However, with the remaster of Nocturne in 2021, two bits of DLC, the Chronicle Pack and the Maniax Pack, add entire game modes that I believe are more or less the same save for the additions of Raidou and Dante, respectively.

While the two are still never in the same game save at the same time, it's now no longer a matter of needing to buy another version of the game entirely, which means that through only the remastered version, Raidou can be linked to Dante, which gives him a Ryu Number of 2.

Kazuma Kaneko is the artist behind old-school Shin Megami Tensei, including Devil Summoner. His lineless art typically feature a large cast of demons. There is a focus on chiseled shading that accentuate the 3D shapes, and areas that are blended/smudged similar to pastels.

Idea struck me after I realized how the Stretching Lamplighter's hat looks kinda like Raidou's hat. SO, I am eargerly awaiting that spirit's return so I can try and put together the best Raidou cosplay I can manage on a budget. (I just need a black cape, the hat, a short hair style - unless the hat IS a hairstyle- and the mischief cat.)
