Sorry in advance for poor photo quality.

The theory about Sampo not being from Belobog comes from several things. The first one: some people think that the city in his splash art is not Belobog. Well, honestly I have nothing to say about it, because I'm not sure (the collage is not mine)

Second: he's not from the underworld. His voice line about Natasha goes like "When I just arrived in underground..."

In Sampo's forth wall monologue he mentions the Epsilon galaxy and the tavern. Epsilon is a really existing galaxy in hsr, but how could the Jarilo-VI people know about it if they haven't had contact with "aliens" for 700 years?

The tavern is an event in the simulated universe, where Masked fools gather.

Also this very same monologue mentions "fun" and "joy" I believe (I might've translated it incorrectly) which is the Elation Aeon thing.

Sampo says he's just a character, similar to how Aha admits that they're just a line of code

more hsr talk , but real talk tho, izuru would be a genius society member who uses the neo world program to to change the outcomes for the future/rehabilitation. and he also has like some sort of body modification that lets him shoot out beams--- when just makes finger guns.

think like the drv3 anime ova (i hate the anime but the ova concept was p good for a base), he'd be a quantum destruction unit with follow-up attacks that do break dmg. he's like super crit rate/dmg based.

SPOILERS BELOW - Don't read if you plan to play hsr and don't want spoilers!

MY DARLING. I loved hsr from the moment I opened it and am so insanely happy with it. The lore, the gameplay, the characters--everything is just SO chef's kiss and beautiful. I don't want to say it's better than Genshin bc they def fill different niches and I adore Genshin with all my heart, however, hsr WAS created after Genshin and the creators clearly took feedback and what worked vs didn't work in Genshin and made hsr better in those aspects and I'm SO impressed and in love with the game. Ten bajillion words of rant below the cut hbgjweogisdkl

Something to note is that for the beginning I was insanely into the lore, so during the start when we had Kafka I went around checking everything I could--hearing her thoughts on things was SO interesting and I got very attached to her, especially since they were later contrasted by Herta's commentary (ex. idr who exactly, I think it was Aiden, who Kafka says "I don't recognize this guy" vs Herta who later talks about who Aiden is, his extremely significant contributions to society). When she tells us about our beautiful future and is like "this is the future Elios has foreseen for you--do you like it?" I was So Excited and So Attached. Getting mommy issues from a video game character-- [gets shot and dies]

Character-building wise, I really adore the decision to limit us in finding character backstory, ascending characters, getting relics, etc. using the Trailblazer level--I think that was a very intelligent decision esp bc I know the reason a lot of people got bored with Genshin was they overleveled and it became too easy. Limiting things by Equilibrium level so you have to fit the story a certain was was incredibly clever to prevent power creep.

Let's be real, we are all gremlins, and this is a gremlin game! That rando meeting we call at the Space Station? Stealing people's mail? Goofing off with the rating gun? We all know the trash meme. The game devs clearly love the world and characters they built, and give us so much room to learn about and love the game as well, which I really appreciate so much.

Something to note: Tale of the Winterlands, a book series from Jarilo-VI, which we find a copy of in the trash and with the writer (with the missing author), is noted to be banned before the story-quest and we cannot find the other copies. It's only after we finish the story-quest that the banned books are sold and can be found. I feel like there are so many little details and bits of love in the story and world that are just so, so easy to fall in love with.

All the characters are so pretty. In fact, I wasn't gonna play but my older sister was playing and I saw Stelle and I was like. Okay time to play. LMAO

I love our characters! There's not a single character I dislike! I especially love this time that there's no exactly "end goal", it's literally all about the journey and not the destination! But also, we're not alone! There's so much love I have for the found family trope and this is hitting ALL my buttons.

an apathetic, ruthless and snarky young woman whose blank expression sends chills down anyone's spine. very little is known about her background, given her refusal to divulge into it. what is known, however, is that she possesses no last name, suggesting there is no family who could claim her. some doubt whether her name, cora, is even her real one or just a codename. the mystery surrounding her is what she takes advantage of, as the member of stellaron hunters. her job entails infiltration, sleazing to the top and sending highly sensitive information back in order for other members to walk in with ease. before even realizing you've been double crossed and tossed under the bus, cora leaves in nick of time thus eluding any authorities to follow her traces. because of that, no bounty was ever placed against her...but, hey, there's first time for everything, right?

COMBAT SKILLS.

basic ATK. get out of my way. tag. single enemy.

deals ICE DMG equal to 50-110% of cora's ATK to single enemy, dueling two pistols incased with ice (REFERENCE).

skill. stay away. tag. multiple enemies.

deals ICE DMG up to 140% of cora's ATK to more than one enemy at the same time. inflicts FROSTBITE state to the enemy which lasts for 2 turn if a single hit breaks the barrier (frostbite state will drastically decrease enemy's HP by 30%).

ultimate. here come the big guns, then. tag. blast.

two pistols are switched with large rocket launchers, also incased with ice (REFERENCE), which deals ICE DMG up to 190-300% of cora's ATK to a single enemy and ICE DMG equal of 160-250% of cora's ATK to enemies adjacent of it. there is additional 90% chance to inflict FROSTBITE on enemies, regardless of shattering the barrier or not.

if an enemy hits cora while her HP is below 50%, she will inflict an onslaught of falling icebergs after throwing out icy grenades, dealing ICE DMG up to 100 to 150%.

technique. sudden blizzard. tag. impair.

after using the technique, enemies in a set are inflicted with FROSTBITE for 10 seconds. frostbit enemies are immobilized, allowing you a chance to run pass. when initiating combat against a frostbit enemy, there is a 100% chance to take 1 turn.

EIDOLONS.

level 1. just leave me alone.

basic ATK deals an additional FROSTBITE effect onto an adjacent enemy.

level 2. cold waste.

if an enemy's barrier is broken during cora's skill, CRIT RATE increases by 30%.

level 3. i'll show you crazy.

skill lv. +2, up to a maximum of lv. 15. basic atk. lv. +1, up to a maximum of lv. 10.

level 4. code ice.

cora's talent heals her own HP by 30%, an additional 20% if it breaks the enemy's barrier.

level 5. i don't even care about you.

ultimate lv +2, up to a maximum of lv. 15. talent lv+2, up to a maximum of lv. 15.

level 6. queen of permafrost.

increases CRIT DMG and CRIT RATE of cora's skill and ultimate by 30%, allowing for a higher chance to FROSTBITE enemies for more than 1 turn

christina- 6/10 we're cool n she's newer than me but I just don't feel like I could carry on a convo with her? not in a bad way I'm just. We have different vibes I think

charkissa- 8/10 went to orientation w me, we talk and joke a lot but again, I don't see her too much. very friendly with everyone and drove me to work when she saw I was walking in the heat one time <3

richard- 6.5/10 omg he recognized my fnf songs as my alarms and he's into fnf as well! !! I was :O (he recognized zavodila and stress),,,, now I'm hoping he'll recognize my hank costume when I wear it 4 halloween.....

ame (uh-mee)- 5.5/10 gave me weird vibes at first but he just wants to seem friendly !! I like talking to him bc he seems like a guy who genuinely doesn't judge you for stuff. Plus he wears a neat little cap sometimes hohoe

amy- 7/10 she's SO funny, she loves screwing around with the regulars and with her coworkers (all friendly banter ofc), has a mischievous side to her as well! she gives off extreme wine aunt energy (and probably is one tbh, in the best way possible)

mike/alonso- 6/10 the only other minors alongside me that work there, they're pretty chill! I like working with them :)

ashley- 6.5/10 she's shorter than me yet she's one of my managers I think that's so funny tbh /lh. she's very sweet! calls people hun and stuff and gives off big sister vibes,, some customers have smack talked about her sometimes and says she's a little too sweet? like to the point she seems cocky? idk people are so cynical sometimes

matt- 7.5/10 shoutout to this mf. As he's one of my managers, I always seem to bother him the most when I needed a supervisor to give me numbers to check out alcohol/cigarettes. he's chill and always sports this man bun, also likes joking around but it's not prominent.

nicholas- 8/10 we just started actually talking today! he's v friendly and he's pretty well-versed in video games for the age he is (no offense to 23-yr-olds) also is in a band. he's funny and is also good at math...

zion- 9/10 this dude is teaching me how to do some cool scanning gun tricks, like flipping it in my hand and stuff, also reeeally funny and specifically we like to pick on each other bc yeah. very jolly dude! also was coworkers w my dad when he used 2 work at my store

pennie- 7.5/10 the one that hired me! omg she gives off mom energy so bad. she got me water when I was thirsty <3 also very friendly (and very ... quirky? yeah .)

ally- 7.5/10 helped me set up everything with my job oml I love her sm . she's a cancer survivor and is expecting!! she says the baby is due in november i think ? She's also v friendly and likes to go back and forth w pennie because they're v close

karen- 7/10 okay for someone named karen shes actually v nice and cool to be around! we haven't talked much outside of work terms n stuff but she teaches me lil things here n there

rosetta- 6.5/10 another coworker who used to work alongside my dad, she's more on the shy and keep-to-herself side, which thank GOD because I'm the same way . taught me how to register checks as payment options <3
