I like want to talk about Rez & Lunar’s dynamic and the contrast to Gemini and how fucked up Rez could be but my brain can and will detoxify anything and also treats conflicting ships by saying 'but what if the were all on love' like a child so I end up with this

The Tsukiyama Group's been around almost as long as the CCG itself. No wonder they considered the Tsukiyama Extermination a success even if the heir survived — they managed to take down the ghoul group itself and split it up among humans instead, making sure they and they alone were the only ghouls on top.

And of course Matsuri (who is all about success and promotions) didn't agree and didn't care.

Not to mention he unknowingly had left Rosewald survivors in Germany. Now he let the Tsukiyama heir go. He's probably sooo mad about not being able to take out this ghoul family.

I think MLB has a really good opportunity here to reinforce the importance of the Ladybug-Chat Noir partnership—really, a lot of the groundwork for it has been laid out already. Because much to mine and many fans’ disappointment, Adrien did almost nothing in this episode. He wasn’t able to contribute at all to the final confrontation, Ladybug did not have him by her side—and she lost! She was, in fact, not able to do it without her partner, just like she always says! She didn’t have Chat there to back her up in the fight, or balance out her habit of wanting to see the best in people and offering second chances, which allowed Gabriel to win.

That theme of imbalance is reflected in Gabriel’s choice to shirk Ladybug’s offer to find a solution at the human level and instead continue to pursue his wish for a world that’s perfect (for nobody but himself). I really don’t think this “perfect” world will last, I think LB and Chat’s relationship will be tested one ultimate final time through the reveal of what Ladybug’s been hiding from Adrien and Chat, but once they’re on more equal footing again vis a vis: information, they’ll come out on the other side stronger for it

The image of a family game night between the brothers (both pre Sun and Eclipse getting along better and post) popped into my head, and now I’m wondering if there’d be any games that get banned from family game night

By family game night, not sure if you mean board games or video games.

If it's board games, tbh i didn't play many board games when i was a kid so i'm not sure how many of those they may ban from their game nights. Anything too rage inducing probably, given how Sun and Eclipse may get destructive if they get too angry. Eclipse would be extremely competitive. Same with Sun, and anything with those 2 participating could possibly end in a physical fight between them if they're pushed enough. (Either can initiate one)

For video games, it's the same thing. Racing type video games especially. Anything with active competition and/or rewards. Eclipse and Sun, if they participate, it could get very heated between them. Moon and Lunar will have to separate the two if they don't wind down.

Typically Eclipse can catch himself before he gets too angry and does something he will regret later but occasionally that doesn't happen, and usually that is when Moon and Lunar have to break it up before they destroy something, or possibly hurt eachother.

Remember how Rising Eclipse has the tag "Some old habits are hard to break though", this is one of those cases where that comes into play. Eclipse may and can fall back on old habits when his temper spirals out of his control.

Okay, so we all know Rez. And that Rez is a worm (?, Lunar said it, not me!). But imagine if they were a snake. Them slithering around with their black scales with a few shining in purple hues. And he has sharp fangs that hold "venom". That venom being the virus he holds to start the infections he causes. Yes, it would be a funny concept if Rez just bit people to start his infections 🤭
