I'm almost done reading through everything when Sebastian appears in the doorway, cradling a mug in one hand. I give him a look as I pick up the scent of coffee. Dude's sleep schedule must be whack. He shrugs and gives me a sympathetic look in return. Right. He probably heard all of that. I shrug as well and try to focus on the infographics in front of me. A stair creaks as Sebastian heads down to his room. 

"Sebastian," Demetrius calls from inside the lab. "The trash needs to be taken out."

I hear Sebastian's sigh from my seat. "Yes Demetrius, I'd be happy to take out the trash as soon as I have my hands free. Thank you for asking so nicely." I almost smirk at the sarcasm that leeches into Sebastian's voice towards the end.

The sound of Demetrius stomping to the doorway urges me into a blank expression. "You wa-ah-ha, achoo!" I wince as another dad sneeze blasts through the air.

"Sorry, what was that?" Sebastian's mirthful reply comes from further down the stairs.

"Watch your to-achoo!" Demetrius frantically pulls out another tissue.

"Can't quite understand you," Sebastian sings as he appears in the doorway again and practically skips down the hall.

Demetrius blows his nose angrily. "Do nobt make fu-achoo!"

I can't help the smirk that I'm now hiding behind one of the folders. Sebastian walks by, trash bag in hand. The mischievous glint in his eyes reminds me of Robin's face earlier and the way he wiggles his brows at me has me holding back a snicker. Demetrius glares as Sebastian disappears out the front door and slinks back into the lab.

En mis últimos pensamientos del día, últimamente se encuentran ellos.

No dejo de recordar esa manera en que me miras y lo que haces cada vez que me das la mano, y esa forma en tiraste de mi brazo con el fin que no me fuera, me dejó deseando más. No era ni el momento ni el lugar, pero es algo que me está desbordando y acabaré ahogada en mí. Y es que realmente no puedo dejarme llevar, no pienso cometer los mismos errores pero tú me haces querer pecar. Porque me miras y haces eso cada vez que nos vemos. Pasan los días y yo deseando tenerte de frente.

Por otro lado también estas tú, volviéndome loca con lo que me dices y la manera tan cruel con la que me tratas, pero por otro lado haces que quiera quererte y odiarte a la vez. Porque no puedes ser para mí, en cambio de ella sí. Sé que en estos momentos debes estar con ella pero deseando que sea yo. Me molesta saber que me mientes cuando siempre estarás con ella y nunca serás para mí. Y aunque niego que ya nobte quiero en el fondo sé que miento. Aunque con esos abrazos no me sentí completa ni reconstruida, entonces creí que ya no te quería. Qué gano queriendo a quien no me va a querer.

Ambos son amores imposibles, de esos que solo están por momentos, creando escenas de películas siendo simplemente nada en la vida. Sólo llenando otros huecos y creando más vacíos e inseguridades.

POTLUCK: Pastor Pay Flat, New Orleans Site Visit, and Crawfish

Jared got on eventually as Allen and Matt held down the fort while he was on a walk. The guys discuss how pastor pay has been flat for a while now, even as the Consumer Price Index rose to almost 18%, as well as SBC leaders descending upon NOBTS and New Orleans for the first site visit to make connections and plans for our Annual Meeting in June. Accordingly, they had a quick chat about crawfish to wind it down.
