Internal Document: Magma Dragoon

Magma Dragoon, of the 14th unit, was under a great deal of suspicion after he vanished shortly before Sky Lagoon fell. While originally claiming to have arrived to find Repliforce having damaged the power core and crippling the vessel, it is now believed that he had, in fact, done the damage himself. Quote from his decommissioning report: “... You're so naive. ... Listen closely. I let the Sky Lagoon fall! And I'd do it again! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!”

Openly admitting to having betraying the Hunters, his motives appear to be partially a desire to amass and display/test his own power, and to appease the one offering him it, later understood to be Sigma himself. Viral infection all but confirmed, based on observed actions and what limited parts were recovered from his destruction.

Given that the Eregion unit active in the Sky Lagoon combat zone had initially been specifically targeting our Hunters before the fall, and then was reportedly attacking regardless of affiliation (according to Zero’s recounting of events putting a Repliforce member in danger) we cannot rule out the possibility that it was under his control while he was in the area and then left to its own devices after he retreated.

“So you want to interview me huh?” Zero repeated the question with a grin a wide as a kid who just got what they always wanted for Christmas. His demeanor went form up-tight and ready, to cool and relaxed in a matter of moments. More than likely the good reporter probably just wanted to ask him what he knew about the current state of events at HQ, but to Zero that meant the opportunity to flaunt and brag about his own accomplishments. 

He cleared his throat, leaned his arm against the nearest wall and attempted to give off an air of elegance, "So, what do you want to ask me? I've got great work-out tips for Reploids if the viewers are interested." he was suave as could be.

Internal Document: Power System Sabotage

While there was massive damage and disruption to the underground power systems caused by Jet Stingray’s sabotage, actual casualties are minimal.

To be more specific, no human casualties have been confirmed. Recovered security footage is in bad shape, but it seems to show a considerable amount of activity before the actual detonation went off.

Responders to the scene eventually found the humans and most of the reploids that would have been stationed in the affected areas, having been forced out at gunpoint. Witness reports are still being verified on this point however.

It’s less that “no one” knows it, and more “few people” know it. But Reaper stress cleans, and he’s kind of a neat freak. Messy living spaces irritate him. Furthermore, reorganizing and cleaning helps him to relax. Anyone who shares a living space with him  no doubt has experienced him coming up behind them and cleaning up their messes, or even their rooms when they’re not around.

“Hey uh, Mr. DJ. I was wondering if you uh, if you happen to know about Eurobeat? I know it’s a uh, a bit of an old very rare genre of music but you seem to have quite the variety of tunes.”

The voice of the DJ would light up almost instantaneously on recieving the question.

Some light shuffling and frantic typing of a keyboard would signify Indrids get up and go enthusiasm for this one.

"You don't have to say another word. I hope this pleases your needs !"

It wasn't often he thought to play eurobeat music, but wasn't opposed to it in the slightest.

"Quite the underappreciated genre sadly." He'd shake his head, adjusting his shades.

“...Doctor?”

“Bah, what is it now?”

“What is that?”

“Hm? That’s snow.”

There was a moment of silence as the large machine stared out the window, utterly fascinated by the spectacle of falling snow beyond the glass. Of course, he knew what snow was: atmospheric water vapor frozen into ice crystals and falling in light white flakes or lying on the ground as a white layer. 

...But he didn’t know it looked quite like that.

“Is it true that every ice crystal is unique?”

“Yes, yes, it’s true. I don’t have time for your silly questions, boy -- Go ask one of the Seconds if you’re so curious.”

Though Dr. Wily’s words were snappish, his tone, Magnet noticed, was fond. He remained by the window, watching the world get painted in a blanket of white, eventually joined by the other young Thirds, and there they stayed until they were eventually shooed off by the doctor.
