If he could tell that he's not human and if that would matter to him #If anyone could relate to being a humanoid monster it'd be Gaster wouldn't it? Although he'd probably resent the comparison lol #''I'm nothing like- like /that/!'' ''First of all rude I have a name'' lol #What would win out! Scriabin's not-humanness or how much he appears like a human?#It probably wouldn't matter either way - if they could meet in realspace then Scriabin would be in a human body #He's still not human but at that point it's more semantics than anything haha #And if Gaster somehow ended up in mindspace with him (???) then he'd kinda just have to roll with Scriabin's non-human abilities haha #Which would be fun admittedly!#As for Scriabin he just wants toys lol #Scientists are known to have a lot of fun torture equipment - Gaster especially #Sure he could do it himself but why not network lol #How can he tell what he's saying? Ehh it's more of a feeling lol - he's not exactly projecting a receptive vibe #They're funny to draw next to each other! They're both so darkmode haha ♪#And they're both stick figures but Gaster is that by definition - Scriabin has meat on his bones!#I'm also pretty sure I haven't drawn Gaster post-getting out of the Void before now? :0 Maybe once as a doodle but I don't remember #It's a good look for him <3 Tragic context but very pretty #Then again that's just kind of a theme for most of Zarla's stories huh haha ♫

Once again it is my own personal Vargasversary! 🎊 Yaaaay #Seven years now - I don't know what to do with seven years it feels like a hard to define number haha #Right in the middle between five years and ten years! A while to be certain but hard to define as a Long Time either hmm #Well whatever it doesn't matter <3 The important part is that I still love Vargas and them very much ♥♪#I actually didn't really have any specific plans for this Vargasversary :0 I haven't been drawing them much again #Other things have drawn my focus and attention hehe ♪#So I just kinda set my hand loose - no sketches on paper no defined idea - this is just what my hand/brain came up with in the moment #I'm pleased :) I think it accurately expresses how I feel about them hehe <3 #I wrote down what ended up being the text/caption a couple months ago while I was in Big Love in their direction #I don't remember what inspired it anymore other than just - They ♥ Themst ♥ Do love them <3 #I've planned my next reread now ♪ Barring anything drastic (like an update lol) I know when I'll be rereading next #I'm looking forward to it! :D As always hehe <3 #It's still a bit a ways off which works well for recharging :)#And of course I'll be doing my usual in the meanwhile - this and the main anniversary and my sketchdumps and Requestober haha #The caption is as much me as it is Edgar after all <3 #Even quiet and sleeping I still find them as a comfort - a place I find rest and joy in ♥#Inspiring and lovely and wonderful - pretty and tender and dear!#Oh and #Always finding a way to flip up the bottom of the shirt #Hehe <3

5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself

It's increased over time! Well, actually, it's been a bell curve, kind of. Maybe more like a roller coaster lol. Obviously before I was online I wasn't sharing any of the stuff I drew; I drew for about seven years before posting anything - casually, for my own entertainment - and then for a while I was posting almost everything in some form or another; if I didn't post the original doodle, it was because I cleaned it digitally! But I got pretty burnt out on that haha - it does still come and go in cycles lol. Nowadays I probably keep back about 30% of what I draw? Although it can be hard to quantify - if you upload to an audience of zero, is it actually online? Haha ♪ Or an audience of one! Just because it's shared using the internet as a middle man, does that count as "posting"? :0 I don't know! I think it's an interesting question tho!

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what

Yes! It really depends on what I'm drawing; my go-tos are always Reddit story readings since I don't have to think too hard about picking one, they last a while, and they keep my auditory brain occupied while my hands and eyes are busy. For a couple days of Requestober, especially the Portal/Stanley Parable days but also the song prompt, I was listening to themed stuff - GLaDOS lines, Narrator lines, the aforementioned song haha. I hate having to stop to pick the next thing! It makes editing my footage harder and throws off my flow :P

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated

A lot of my Law Abiding Citizen stuff probably - LAC is such a good series!! I wish more people would see it/were still into it. We're few, and I was late to party, but my love still burns! If I had to pick just one thing tho, I think it'd have to go to one of my Just Desserts comics - I cried while drawing it initially, and I still think Charm's transition from her smiling-crying face to her angry-crying face is so well done ♥

Especially the first and last one!#I've been trying to find a good balance of drawing for myself/allowing myself space to mess up while also being proud of things #It can actually be hard to thread that needle lol - sometimes I'm like ''Well it's alright :/ But this bit is good! But out of context....'#It can be hard to be judicious! I really do want to show off a lot of it but I also want to leave room for myself!#I've been working on an all behind-the-scenes project over the course of October :3c #I'm almost ready to start compiling it! I'm buying myself a bit more time haha ♪#And of the audience of none thing - that behind the scenes project? Technically it's online right now - but on my Patreon lol #Tree falls in a forest and all that haha - it's a secret for as long as anyone else dictates! It's interesting :3 #Plus there's also the thing of showing your online friends but not the wider public - where's the line?#How many people have to have seen something for it to count as being ''posted online''?#Even still - I always draw for myself haha ♪ I just also happen to share a lot lol but that's kind of a side effect of being pleased pfft #I have gotten so dry on things to listen to haaaghhh - I know I have a bajillion podcasts at my disposal but my brain is so pickyyyy #It has to be low-stress and not a bummer but interesting but not Too interesting that it becomes Inspiring- pfbtl >:P #I'm actually listening to something right now as well lol - I listen to music when I write and stories when I draw :D #I can't get 'em mixed - brain is picky lol (But really it's because it engages different parts of my brain that need attention)#It was also hard to answer the last one since I still kinda consider myself a fairly small artist haha - I like a lot of my art!#Even my old stuff :D Sometimes even especially my old stuff!#What counts as underrated when a lot of my stuff trends towards being on the quiet side? :0 #That said I've been absolutely delighted by the Property of Hate and Portal turnout ahh <3 <3 Makes me happy to see them being enjoyed!!#Anyway sorry for going so long apparently I had Thoughts™ lol

He's still heckin' cute - I will always be biased towards wings haha #Didn't have any hair to shade this time so had to give them a little extra attention hehe ♪#The whole shading everything - I've just been really into backlighting lately haha #The halo is a great excuse ♫#I also like how in searching for his refs they were paired to the note of ''Don't think about it for too long it all comes crumbling down''#But now I'm thinking about it!! Oh no!! Lol #Like for example I know there are Mercyplates iterations where the Skelebros never get the plates #But the intention was still there at some point (maybe? It's been a while lol)#Basically my point is - I think Gaster's two hand hole-punches would garner the attention of Someone #Since they were brought up how about Alphys or the Goatparents' - and he gets some accessories to cover up with ♪#Anyway that's all just errant-thought fun to think about Gaster getting hurt lol - even this Gaster?#:3c Maybe #I trust him about as far as I can throw him as much as I thoroughly enjoy him hehe ♪#It was tempting to do something with Alphys and the others as well - the image of him picking up Fell!Temmie and resting her on his lap lol #But I've never drawn any of them and I couldn't find any agreed-upon references so I opted for He Alone #It would be fun to see him interacting with others tho :)#Hardly topical but I think my favourite iteration of AU Alphys is SwapFell?? Odd!! Unwanted!!#And at least GLaD and Chell are at the homefield advantage - the boys are in a whole new environment!#The Narrator would freak the heck out lol - but if they got past the initial without everything combusting-#Well actually I can imagine GLaDOS getting fed up with Narra hogging the PA just to say what Stanley is/should be doing lol #''He is clearly ignoring you why do you bother'' ''It's my job! My duty!'' *explosion* Pfft #I do like the idea of GLaDOS referring to other people's test subjects by other lesser names #Something along the lines of I'm the only one who gets to call mine a test subject because I'm doing Real science haha #All these dynamics! How the two protags would react to each other and their respective voices reaction to each other and each's inverse #Too many to think about right now lol gimme a sleep or two on it haha #Although Portal/TSP crossovers have been around since they both existed concurrently ♪ Still they're fun to think about!#It is fun to imagine Stanley following behind Chell through the portals until he gets distracted #It becomes a bucket quest real fast lol - They poke around Rattman's bunker and Chell gets sad and Stanley ''helps'' with a distraction #Trimming GLaDOS down and doing a halfbody for Narra and then chibis for the rest - it's all about the right math right? Right lol #Only one more! Ahh!

#My art #Requestober #Vargas #Scriabin #Spider #So fun fact: I did do a couple Ladyverse!Snake Charmer!Scriabin doodles but they were just concept sketches so I never posted them #I still have at least one Ladyverse!SC idea written down but I haven't done anything with it lol #I never made it as far as Ladyverse!SC as a drider but then you said ''fashion'' and that's one of my sleeper words I Can't Not lol #I may have gone a little extra on this one but I was excited! I got sidetracked with those stones in the BG lol #Rock textures are still very fun ahh I can't help myself #The whole thing is extra! The web-cloth needed to contrast against her skin so I needed the directional lighting so I needed the background #Every step needed the next! It was decently fun tho #Not in small part of getting to look at some Acanthoscurria Geniculata <3 #Funny actually haha; my step-sister went to the zoo recently and there was That Specific Species of tarantula there!#She took a picture for me :) Cute #Pretty spider <3 And pretty drider!#I'm still very normal about Lady!Scriabin >.> And backs lol they're fun to draw!#You'll notice under the webbing she's wearing a similar top to what I drew Classic!Drider Scriabin in that one time #This one's a halter-top tho :) Leather halter top haha #I think it breaks up the shapes nicely :D #And her little urticating hairs poking through the webbing hehe ♪ She's very cute! #My art #Requestober #Vargas #Edgar #Scriabin #Blood #SAW #So fun fact about me: I have never seen any of the SAW movies and I have exactly zero interest in changing that lol #I'm actually a huge wimp when it comes to live action horror - I can handle just about any other kind of horror!#I love horror video games and animation and comics and stories but I just get really super uncomfortable by live action horror #Especially slashers - I top out around ''Get Out'' as far as on-screen blood and injuries and the like :(#Which sucks because as I said! I love horror! I want to watch Nightmare on Elm Street so badly but I can't! ;o;#And there's something funny about just how violent JtHM and Vargas and everything is but I'm just like #''SAW :( No I can't :('' lol #So I actually had to outsource from a friend lol she's a big slasher buff and knows I can't handle this stuff #So she briefly described a trap from SAW II and I extrapolated from there #Do I have context for you? No #Do I have blood for you? Yes >:)#Poor Edgar D: I dunno if I read correct from glancing around all the scary imagery but there was something about this trap?#About how like if they didn't put both hands they might've been able to get out? :0 I don't actually know #And anyway he has Scriabin there with him! Help!#He's no help at all lol he's just jostling the trap that'll just hurt him more!#I just like to imagine there's a semi-happy ending :') Still a lot of bloodloss tho haha #Anyway I probably wouldn't do one of these live action horror crossovers again :'D Once is more than enough for me

#My art #Requestober #Vargas #Scriabin #Edgar #The Stanley Parable #Watch out - I'm doing cool stuff with transparency again #And this time it actually presents cleanly on the dash hells yeah >:3c #Quick first thing that stands out to you about style stuff!#I've been feeling gums lately teeth and gums but especially gums #They are good for big expression work and they are also weird :)#I'm not used to it yet! But I think I like it! In like a mixed way lol #Very good for expression work I just fjdksalfjd they are very strange #Anyhow!#Been a while since I dipped into the Vargas/TSP well :3c #I decided to go with one of the tag-dialogue I had set aside for myself in the original doodle post haha #It's a good bit of dialogue ♪ Definitely one of my favourites it rides around in my head rent free #Just leaving it as their void untouched with such an emphasis on how wrecked the place is tho #That wouldn't do would it ♪#What did you do Edgar?#Went and found a beasty who tore the walls apart haha #Either that or Scriabin did it and he's blaming Edgar - standard fare #It feels so odd! Chilly #So cold that their noses have gone red haha - they're all bundled up but that car hood has to be freezing #I super didn't want to draw a car so I mostly cheated lol ♪ It's close enough!#I could've drawn them on a late-night picnic I guess but them laying on the hood of the car is just the Most Correct y'know?#They're gonna be frozen solid once they're done lol #Oh no however will they warm up lol #That said they're not even touching while sitting out here haha ♪ Nny doesn't like it! His arm is fully over his waist!#Did Nny have the beanie or did he borrow it? I just happen to love her mind - her personality - the most ♥#For a change of pace I listened to her lines in the background rather than music hehe ♪#I forgot how funny she is in Portal 1 gosh she's so cool and mean and fdjsalfjdsf I love her I love her #I never know where to cut the line between the Player and Chell - she's designed to be a blank slate so hmm #I mean I see her as being extremely long-suffered - you'd have to be to put up with GLaD hehe <3 #Sarcastic and flippant in response to GLaDOS' long monologues haha #But for me personally I could listen to her insult me all day <3 So how much of that carries over to Chell?#Probably a non-zero amount while I'm playing her lol - we see Players nod or shake Chell's head!#That means something!#So just go ahead and insult her it's all in good fun ♪#I do love the idea of GLaDOS needing Chell to be somewhere and all other methods of moving her are inaccessible #Elevator breaks? :3c She can fall a long distance but her jump height isn't quite that good lol #Ride around on her to go from floor to floor! GLaDOS secretly enjoys it and turns that pleasure into more insults lol #''Stop enjoying this only one of us is allowed to be having fun right now. And by one of us I mean neither of us. Be quiet.''
