A Right Angle Gearbox is used to transmit Rotary Motion in 90 degree. This Series can be customized to get three directional outputs I.e. Single Output Shaft, Two Directional Output Shaft and Three Directional Output Shaft. A Right Angle Gearbox is used to transmit Rotary Motion in 90 degrees. This Series Comes with a Planetary Reducer which has total reduction ratio ranging from 1:4 to 1:200 with a total torque transmission capacity range of 13Nm to 793Nm. The whole Gearset has a Accuracy of 3-6 Arc Min and the models available are SS42, SS70, SS90, SS120, SS150, SS180 which are combined with SNP gearbox customizable with Shaft or Flange End according to the application.

Rack and Pinion can be directly coupled with Right Angle Gearbox to convert Rotary Motion into Linear Motion. The Pinion is mounted on the Shaft of Right Angle Gearbox and the whole Gearbox is assembled in such a way that the Rotary motion of Pinion is Coupled with Rack hence the Linear Motion is achieved.

SMD’s right-angle gearbox is a gear set with a right-angle movement in the direction of the shaft. A right-angle drive is a mechanism with a gear train that can transmit torque/rpm 90 degrees, to turn a corner. the choice between inline and right-angle gearboxes usually comes down to the available space for the gearbox and motor combination. Right-angle gearboxes typically create a more compact package when connected to a motor. When the load input shaft faces sideways, a right-angle gearbox allows the motor to be tucked up against the application's side and out of the way. In right angle gearbox the input and output axes are at right angles, creating a 90-degree change of direction in the torque transmission. 

 It comes with two variant i.e. hollow shaft and solid shaft. Both are used as per the needs of customer. For example, right angle speed reducer with hollow end can be used with ball screw where as solid shaft can be used in applications where the shaft is not available to fix the gear. It provides its own shaft to fix the gear set in application. Hollow output shaft is designed for various applications and 5 mounting surfaces for flexible installations.
