I just had 2 AU ideas for Riverstone in Heros To Be. I shall explain my favorite of the two so far, which is Permanent Rouge AU...

Pretty much River went into a blood moon frenzy and never came back out of it for whatever reason. Blood moon frenzies are caused by a (usually genetic) mental issue or something along those lines. Frenzies or "going Rouge" can be triggered by many things that vary from individual.

River is very nose sensitive, so she's mostly triggered by the smell of blood and / or a fight/very stressful situation where her or her found family is in immediate danger.

So in this AU river went into a fight (probably the ice kingdom incident) and was lost in her own mind. Introducing ✨️Feral Riverstone✨️. When in a frenzy a bloodmoon will fall back on basic dragon instinct, so I can see alot of fun dribbles for this AU. It'd also be really wholesome as Granite already acts alot like a wolf so alot of mother son bonding time here XD

Brookpaw is a wiry apprentice with downy, silver tabby fur. He is 10 moons old. He has almond-shaped, bright green eyes and a square jaw. He is alert and courteous, but oversensitive. He has trouble maintaining eye contact. He likes to weave vines into his fur.

Redkit becomes of age to start training and is given Coyotetwist as a mentor. Redpaw is excited, but he quickly learns that he'll have a hard time keeping up with his mentor's training style!

Coyotetwist cheers Redpaw up by joking about how bad the clans smell. She also gives him snacks.

Riverstone caught Coyotetwist complaining about him behind his back! Jumblebrush lets Riverstone share his troubles with her.

After thinking it over, Riverstone decides to do some solo training sessions.
