What is your opinion on robocop: alpha commando

I actually haven't had the chance to watch it yet! Since it's my senior year I've been saving up the TV shows/cartoons I want to watch after my end-of-year exam. I do love the design they gave Murphy though! Beefy and tall machinery, plus the contrast of dark red and dark gray is amazing ♡

In Robocop Alpha Commando, "Naugmenastan", apparently, it stated to be former parts of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan.

Of course if there are a Naugmen anything, I can't find them. But that's American writers.

Because what border makes sense from that statement. Did Uzbekistan just say no.

1998 though 2020... I mean. Things already had gone differently because robocop. But also. Dearborn is right there. Every chance to actually write a Muslim as not a joke. Al-Zahraa is *points*

RoboCop: Alpha Commando Vol. 1

Toxic Crusaders just had a video game adaptation a year or so ago, and I was shocked to see it. They must have gotten the license for $1.50. The cartoon kept only Toxie's basic origin and threw everything else out the window, giving him new allies (other mutated individuals, like a pilot with a big nose and a wheel for a foot, a two-headed mad scientist unwillingly attached to his surfer-dude "igor", an uplifted junkyard dog, an army major who could now control plants, and an animated mop), new enemies (alien warlord Dr. Killemoff, who can only breathe polluted air, and his flunkies), and even a new girlfriend (Claire, who wasn't blind, merely very nearsighted). It was dumb, but it had its moments.

A perennial favorite is when Toxie convinced Major Disaster to shut down a malfunctioning power plant before it could explode, by pointing out he had control of plants. Of course it worked.

Toxic Avenger also had a comic book adaptation (played more seriously than Toxic Crusaders, but still nowhere near as violent or near-pornographic as the movie).

As I recall, the Mask/Ace Ventura crossover was a two-part story, with one episode being part of each show, and was effectively the series finale for the Mask, though Ace Ventura continued for another year. Note that Ace and Stanley are not voiced by the same person, even for the crossover, despite both being based on Jim Carrey.

There was also a Dumb and Dumber cartoon, but that didn't cross over with the others (probably because it was on ABC instead of CBS like the other two were). Jim Carrey's character was once again played by someone else — Matt "Max Headroom" Frewer — and Bill "Patrick Star" Fagerbakke replaced Jeff Daniels. I didn't watch it.

All three Jim Carrey-based cartoons debuted in 1995, with Dumb and Dumber only running one year, The Mask two, and Ace Ventura three (though there was a two-year production gap between the second and third seasons of Ace Ventura).

There were, in fact, two different Robocop cartoons, though the second one (1998's Robocop: Alpha Commando) was a little darker than the first (1988's Robocop — it's based on the first movie only, since the others hadn't come out yet). The first cartoon is an alternate take on the first movie, with Clarence Boddicker still alive (and a version of Anne Lewis convinced that Robocop is 100% human and is trying to date him, and that's as painfully awkward as it sounds). Alpha Commando is effectively a new setting entirely, and only Sgt. Reed returns from the movies.

Rambo (aka Rambo: The Force Of Freedom) was basically G.I. Joe all over again, with the Force of Freedom in place of the Joe team and General Warhawk's S.A.V.A.G.E. standing in for Cobra. Rambo (who was never called by his first name) and Trautman (ditto) were the only characters returning from the films, and the theme was an up-tempo instrumental version of "It's A Long Road", the theme from First Blood. It wasn't awful for the era, but it was very much not Rambo.

The Mask

Based on the 1994 Jim Carey film, The Mask: The Animated Series continues the adventures of bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss who is able to use an ancient and magical  mask to gain superpowers.  As The Mask, Ipkiss fights crime in Edge City.  A number of the episodes in the series were written by John Arcudi who helped to develop the original Mask comic book series for Dark Horse Comics.   

Mask: The Animated Series debuted in August of 1995 and ran for three seasons.  Actor Rob Paulsen provided the voice for both Stanley Ipkiss and his masked alter ego.

Brawl in the Family Season 13 - Episode 7 | January 6, 2002 Well the streak couldn’t last long, could it? Here’s another episode I frequently mix up with the Missionary one and the Safari one, which is weird, I just realized! The first act is about The Simpsons fighting and it causing a big media sensation because they get arrested very publicly. Pretty fucking stupid way to start an episode right? Then, the second act is basically a social worker who Homer think is an angel. I think the writers were trying to d a riff on the magical negro thing but didn’t think their audience would understand it? He’s like Bagger Vance, et al. For some reason they have to escape some mountain lions and its really fucking bad. So they get home and guess what? Homer and Ned’s Vegas wives are there! They tracked them down and they mean trouble!!!! So, the episode actually gets a little better after this point, but goddamn, it still sucks. Fuck this shit I hate it. THE B-SODE:

i watched the three-part pilot and then just sorta skimmed for episodes that sounded fun, and they mostly were. this was a lot more harmless fun and less overt copaganda than the other cartoon. it has basically nothing to do with the movies and other shows. so all you really have to contend with is the usual awful writing and loud dumbness of your average kids cartoon that doesn’t even slightly respect its audience. oh, and some rather cartoonish racism against a nonexistent country in the pilot.

(but the pilot also had an femdommy lady who captured robocop and said stuff like “once your defenses are broken down your delicious powers will be reprogrammed to serve me” and “stop fighting your reprogramming” and “how dare you touch my robocop” and planted a post-hypnotic suggestion in him, so who can say if it’s bad or good.)

i can’t really complain about this too much considering it gave us plots like “an evil arcade owner kidnaps and brainwashes kids” and “terrorists take over a moon colony and threaten the earth.” and the bondage situation was acceptable.
