The Triaxial compression test, is used to simulate all combinations of practical stress and strain conditions, occupies at present a fairly dominant position in soil testing.

Load Frame , Motorized, 12 speeds, 50 Kn ( 5,000 kgf):-(IS:2720(Part 11) and (Part 12)

Triaxial Cells (38mm and 50mm dia)

Pressure Gauge: Bourdon Tube Type- 1000 kPa (10 kg/cm2 ) capacity, Graduation : -1.0 To +10 bar in 0.1 bar division (.1 to 10 kg/cm2) divisions) Dia: 200 mm

All parts are made from corrosion resistant material.

   Standard accessories are used as :-

LVDT Displacement Sensor, 0.01 mm x 25 mm travel.

Two different capacities Load Cells for two different Load Measurement. One of 25 kn and other of 50 kn as per sample selection.

Two nos. Pressure Cells (1) POR Pressure and (2) Constant Pressure Measurement up to 10kg/cm² are used.

User Friendly Software with Load V/S. Time, Load V/S. Displacement, Displacement V/S. Time. Etc.

A. How is your business? And how did you started it and why?

Rocktest Drilling Services located at P6-A PANADTALAN MARAMAG BUKIDNON. The establishment is own by Violeto A. Tagupa. Violito Tagupa have a working experience for almost 20 years in drilling industry for the fast work that he have. The ROCK DRILLING SERVICES started since 2018 until now to a various project in the Philippines in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The owner of this drilling services is an elementary graduate only. Because of his persistency and hard work he manage to build a business that could help their family uplift their living. The family life of what he had before is one of the reason why he works very hard in doing this kind of business. Since Mr. Tagupa came from a family of a farmer that only have a minimum income from their farm and sometimes no income due to calamity and pest.

Mr. Tagupa have a belief that he could start a company. Since he had the knowledge for almost 20 years of expertise in drilling services. He manages to secure a machine that could bore a hole for a water supply. At first the business started a small contract until Mr. Tagupa create a name in a drilling services. He expands his business and connect to the Government projects along with the DPWH.

Because of the good management of the owner and a good boss to her worker the Rocktest Drilling Services acquired a million contract to its client specially government project. Since Mr. Tagupa have a good rate than the other drilling Services.

The company uses a diamond drill to hole to its of their project and the company accept the following services: Water Well Drilling, Rock fall Protection System, Soil Nailing and Rock Anchor Works, PP Rope Gabions, Rock fall Nets, Installation of HDPE Liner, Mineral Exploration and Shotcreting.

B. What are the challenges you faced in doing business?

The challenges that we face of by doing this kind of business are Calamity, Damage machine and Damage coupling that could the diamond drill will remain inside the whole. And diamond drill is expensive like the machine that we used in order to operate.

C. Making suggestions for using the NET to expound their business.

One of the helpful tool in promoting our business is using the internet specially Facebook. This is one way on how do we promote our business legitimacy and work done by uploading our projects completion and projects on progress. Today I agree in promoting my business through the internet because it is very helpful.
