Like always when I'm having some pretty bad creative block, I decided to do some low poly megami tensei fanart.

I know that Ronde isn't going to win any prizes in the looks department, but how is it at either story or gameplay?

I couldn't tell you! Everything about it looks outrageously slow and cumbersome, and I'm barely aware of the narrative- I don't think anyone is chomping at the bit to translate a game that is largely considered a punchline by those who are even aware of its existence.

Frankly, the graphics are by far the most appealing part; they have a pleasing chunkiness to them, some charming FMV etc. It's the excruciating pace of the battle animations that really seals the deal, makes it unappetizing to try out even on a lark.

you made that one iceberg a while back with another user, is the Ronde Muhammad supposed to be the prophet or something else? Id assume the former since that seems to be the significance of it, and if so I guess that kills the chances of seeing Ronde ever again most likely

Yes, that was @b-reis' iceberg:

But no, its Muhammad is just an original character in the game. This was my own mistake based on when I attempted to translate the entire Ronde compendium many years ago, when about all you could get from the game was a list of names in Japanese, some of them completely unordered but all still of religious significance. So, I just assumed it was the THE Muhammad. Incorrectly!

Ronde is not seeing the light of day every again, regardless, lol
