//— lore drop,
One of the reasons Roo, root of all evil was able to influence Lucifer so much was she preyed on his isolation, and feelings of resentment at being punished , the apple wasn’t the first time he’s caused trouble just the big one / straw that broke the camels back;
When he was being put on trail and punished and seeing his friends his family turn against him, no one arguing for him , she used that , saying she was his real only friend offering help when everyone was offering judgement .. and he took her hand , he took her words her advice her power and mixed with it his own.
They in his eyes became the scapegoats , they combined their powers and he chose the one person with power that was showing something other then judgement towards him, welcoming the darkness . He had someone on his side for once .
Using her strength for the war, he became the first angelic being to kill another angelic being . And he didn’t stop at just one. The fact that angels can kill eachother that they have weaknesses , their blood can possibly be deadly to eachother ,was reveled to Lucifer thanks to Roo , and Heaven did their best to hide it , it’s why the exorcist had no idea they could be killed .
They couldn’t risk another Lucifer .

If Klaus does snap what would cause it?? would it be the others looking over him and treating him horribly like they usually do??? how would they even react (hopefully Bette Ethan with Vanya) like I really want Klaus to discover his powers and become super powerful but I'm scared of him turning against the others 🙈🙈🙈
I think a lot of the problem with the Hargreeves is that they all treat the others horribly in at least a few instances, and Klaus is 100% complicit in that. That said, does being belittled make sense as a motive to go a little bit more Serious? Show just exactly what it is he’s capable of both physically and mentally? Yeah, for sure, and I absolutely think that could play a part in it. I’m haunted by that “Klaus is still Klaus” line from Luther because, honestly, I don’t even think he meant it to be mean. But this idea that Klaus is a flouncy goof that steals for drugs because he likes drugs is... a lot, huh? And is wrong to attribute to s1 Klaus, but downright risky to attribute to a Klaus who has the skills to back up his hurt, and the motive. I also think, probably, Dave will play a role. Klaus shouldn’t talk to Dave in 1963, and he knows this. On a timeline level it is irresponsible to do so, it’s not fair to tell a 23-yo Dave “we were in love in the future,” and on that 23 thing again... That’s 5 years. Klaus is 30+ in 63. Dave is a much younger, much different person, almost certainly. Think about yourself five years ago. If Klaus (who is often pretty selfish) ignores all the ways it is selfish to reach out to Dave in 63 (minus maybe, like, an anonymous letter that says DON’T GO TO WAR), he’s not going to get HIS Dave back (check out Roo @hermitreunited ‘s lovely fic There’s Going To Be Some Changes, she’s anielle over on ao3, if you want a deeper dive into this concept). That’s hard, man! He’s stranded, probably feeling abandoned, definitely mourning Dave in probably the worst way I can imagine. That’s gonna make anyone hurt.
All of this said, I’m not worried about him turning against the others. I think they have that with Vanya and they’re pretty fuckin good writers. I think the snapped!Klaus angle is more interesting, anyway, if he is more useful to them when he is acting and feeling the way I’m describing. He is frequently judged in s1 for being useless, and they only accept him when he becomes useful. In a show about all the reasons it’s bad to be a super hero, I think the natural way to explore the darker side of one of your heroes is to explore him becoming more useful to heroism, but less good. And especially to explore the feelings of those that decided he was useless/valued him more as useful, when they realize how much healthier and better (for want of a better word) Klaus was before he drove himself deeply, deeply into being useful.
