Neewollah beta part 3 part 1 part 2

we’re rounding it out in the ending designing of neewollah uniforms, they really took me months to get down [only because i ignored them for a hot second working on other twst cs]��

I actually had two color palettes i was deciding between at the time and then i was thought about hey what if they had a regular palette in the daytime and glow in the dark clothes so thats how i ended up with them having a daytime color and night time color

How would the trio react to White Day?

Rowdon didn't get any chocolate on valentines day, however he gave homemade spicy chocolates to Tallis

[Rowdon did steal other peoples chocolate though...just to eat for himself...he may or may not have been bitter that Tallis didn't get him anything....but they're not "Officially" dating as far as Tallis knows]

Tallis however, would actually buy Rowdon Chocolate since he did get him a gift for valentines day. He got Rowdon a variety of chocolates. Especially a variety with some spicy chocolate that he remembered Rowdon likes to eat now and then.

Rowdon is over the moon obviously, hes by Tallis' side the whole day practically laying on him at any opportunity like a cat...surprisingly or not no mischief happened much that day but Rowdon did keep trying to bite Tallis so he had to be muzzled again

Ammiras...would have easily gotten valentines chocolates i will not lie, hes a bit too charismatic with others and even from a distance people seem to enjoy him and his looks and while it might be small bundles of chocolate to each person that gave him a gift at least he remembered those who gifted him. He probably actually recieved white day chocolate from Tallis as well, he has given professional valentines day treat to Tallis as a job well done for vice presidency. Tallis only gifted him store bought chocolate as well. Tallis...doesn't know what Ammiras favorite type of chocolate is. So he just went with milk and dark chocolate.

In order actually of the edits i had made that far, it was really hard i was looking at a lot of hard metal, punk and visual kei styles. I always wanted to go with a long sleeve style and especially hide ammiras’ arms

You can see i originally was actually going to have oogie boogie and the spider at the top of his head seperate and different characters before i thought about him more and what would be a more neat thing to happen 

Thinking about the spider what if it was the ‘true’ oogie, the one after all pulling the strings and spiders do eat a lot of insects which were filled in that sack. I just thought itd be more neat. 

I actually struggled a lot with what color pallette to do with Ammiras, i almost went pure black for him the whole way before i wanted to incorporate bright colors into them all that could distinguish them especially in ‘rave’ lighting

Is it okay if I some Christmas ideas or art for the trio? I don't mind if it is a drawing or something that's written, I would just love to see it!

Honestly, Ammiras doesn't like holidays much especially since he spends christmas alone still at the dorm over the holidays. He doesn't have anyone to return to and spend time with but he just says when asked why he didn't return home "A dorm leader always needs to watch over anyone in the dorm." which is a crock of shit considering for a lot of the time hes MIA with his whereabouts unknown to the others in the dorm until after his overblot event. Ammiras is a fully private person who doesn't like others getting to know him too personally and his "weaknesses"

He misses his grandfather.

Rowdon would actually return back to where hes from but only for like the day of christmas but they dont actually do "christmas" exactly the same where he's from... you don't want to know what they do.

Rowdon probably ends up trying to stow away and go where Tallis' went but Tallis probably already scolded him for trying to come with and that "You are not part of my family, Acacius!"

Rowdon then is basically forced to stay at the dorm by Ammiras so Tallis can go unbothered back to his home for the holiday. Rowdon is raising hell and Ammiras is too tired to care, he'll make rowdon clean whatever he did up later.

Its when Tallis returns does Rowdon seem too sweet and clingy again, as if he wasnt a hell beast the whole vacation for the remaining few people on campus upset because he couldn't go with Tallis.

Rowdons getting an earful from Tallis though, Ammiras already told him what Rowdons been doing. Its petty revenge but also Tallis IS the vice dorm leader. He usually is the one to do the full punishments.

Meet the top three, The first year upstart Rowdon Acaius, Our busy bee..er spider Ammiras Florence the Dorm Leader and at his side the sharp vice Dorm Leader Tallis Harper

X -This dorm is full of niche experts in their field, the prodigy’s and scholars. Typically this dorm is on a slightly altered academic path to account for specialties in research and actually more of a college type predicament like dealing with people going into specialized majors. 

This dorm is founded on the theme of the Forbidden. 

X- The needed personality type is people who will push boundaries. Those who will go beyond norms be it social or academic to get the results they’re craving. They will do what it takes to find new methods to their research or results that have yet to be conclusive or found just yet. Who will not be scared of treading where others haven’t.

Poor Tallis, so much work he does, Ammiras usually does have a great memory and in memorizing schedules he just needs a little bit of time and reference then he gets it down completely  Tallis does kind of underestimate a lot of those in hid dorm but more so he just doesn’t think highly of Rowdon from how he goes about his daily life.

It’s time for a brief introduction to the players of this dorm.

‘Tallis usually drinks coffee. Though i have a sneaking suspicion Rowdon puts energy drinks into it. Or maybe he actually takes some of Rowdons energy drinks later in the day. Oh well one can only speculate if you dont see it’ - Ammiras Florence

How do the trio interact with Yuu after their chapter and Ammarias's overblot? Do they act any differently? Do they stay the same? If they do the former, how do they act?

Ammiras is a lot more like a petty cat, he clearly has a bit of a sour taste still with yuu and their group, especially after everything but hes adament. You dont bite the hand that feeds you. He could've easily been reported and expelled or worse with what all illicit activities he was doing under the schools nose. So hes a lot more biting back his pride and lets yuu and their gang run a bit around more than he'd let others.

Tallis is very unphased and still treats the others just the same, which is to say quite bluntly and apathetic until someone steps over a line

Rowdon still always pushes the boundaries and still is a bit rough but at least he isnt full out decking the aceduo but theyre specifically not allowed in neewollah dorm, really only Yuu and grim are allowed in if Rowdon has anything to do with it.

What would the trio's Halloween costume theme be for the Halloween event? I know this is super late but I would love to know!

iActually i really wanted to make a halloween banner of their first year i made the blog but i didnt have time with everything

Tallis and Rowdon were going to have matchng costume Rowdon being an Angel and Tallis being a devil

Ammiras, i cant remember what i was going to put him in, i think it was going to be the pumpkin king as a cheeky nod to both sides of the story and as a bit of Ammiras technical reform [a little]

Here’s everyone in flats and i’ll be explaining what is typical for other students vs whats more exclusive 

Outfits are basically tailored to students in many ways to account for their physicality and tastes but there still needs to be cohesion. 

Rowdon Acacius, the upstart first year. 

If your character has horns/animal ears there can be added holes for them specifically so the hood can be used if they so choose.

Buckles are typically worn if a person is sitting out of a ceremony/just watching to make sure no stray magic can occur and mess up with what’s going on. Usually if your character likes to participate a lot they can have the buckles off. Here’s an example of without. 

This is how the typical belt and it’s buckles go, the standard in both how it’s worn and the colors given.

The muzzle is not part of the uniform, Rowdon is just mandated to wear that after biting Tallis. 

How the typical tops go for Neewollah uniform and should stay very much the same, it helps tie everyone together. 

The typical stock pants of the uniform most can customize the pants portion how they like to wear things. There’s rarely much skin showing so take that into account. Maybe go with what Tallis does if you want shorts/skirt or anything like that and wear stockings/leggings in the preferred style of your characters choice. 

Tallis Harper, the sharp Vice Dorm Leader

The bat like shoulder also looks the same on the back except it’s clasped in the front with the hoop. This side of it also is not to be studded unless you have all eight spikes. [Also pro tip, the black is matte black so it doesn’t shine or anything like latex] 

The buckle here is more of a style choice for Tallis as it will never inhibit his magic as he’s a vice dorm leader.

Theres typically always one buckle for your ankles, you can do more especially if shoes allow it but it’s just another thing that ties in cohesion for the group. Also Tallis’ does have red soles on his shoes even if most won’t see it.  

Everyone wears their spikes on this side and they’re always purple unless you’re dorm leader. The chain is always red and connected to the hoop

Tallis thought it would be troublesome for long sleeves and his wheels so he has an alternate option for the sleeves, pay close attention if your character for some reason doesn't want/can’t have long sleeves in the way. If you want short sleeves probably wear a type of glove with it in black, there shouldn’t be much skin showing uncovered. 

Don’t be afraid of going outside typical character design and even in what you give the character. The dorm is quite reliable and handicap accessible even if the dorm base looks like Gothic and run down wayside from the outside. Characters typically don’t look ‘stereotypical normal’ around here. So if you’ve been wanting to go a bit more ‘monstrous’ or for nontraditional beauty for a character this dorm might be for you. 

Ammiras Florence The busy Dorm Leader

Only the dorm leader gets the hood like this on the back, Ammiras doesn’t have an actual hood like the others because as dorm leader he shouldn’t be trying to conceal himself 

How sleeves are normally worn but also keep into account Ammiras has multiple arms so his sleeves are a bit wider. Here’s sleeves without buckles for single pair armed students.

Shoes are to be mainly black but can be worn in the style of your choice, Soles should be red and heels/platforms part of it as well. 

Only the dorm leader gets the red spikes. Also as dorm leader he got to decide to change his top. Also a fun little nod to it, that might just be his old chain worn as an earring now. 

Only the dorm leader swaps the side of the belts and hoop, if you pay attention accent colors have swapped not just on the belt but also on the vest portion, the usual red clasps are now purple and his hoop connecting the shoulder guards is also red matching the spikes.

Don’t forget the buckle as well there’s typically only one but there can be more.   

There is a tier system in Neewollah Dorm

while its not to decree who is better than who some might think of it that way. To get all 8 full tiers is warrant to actually be able to challenge the current dorm leader to a game of choice.

Typically most get their tiers about one or two a semester, which is why its quite hard to get a full 8 unless they’re really gunning for it. Most first years end with 3 tiers. There will be exceptions as some will be wanting to participate more and have a drive for it.

However, you don’t have to get the tiers it’s more so bonuses to tack onto and show what you have learned inside the dorm and can be taken note of as what you also know. So not everyone has to participate but the ceremonies are mandatory to attend to at least watch and learn from that.

you can not challenge the dorm leader unless you have all 8 tiers.

Let’s meet the first year of this dorm, shall we? 

Name: Rowdon Acacius Age: ??? Year: 1st Species: imp [demon] Height: 5′6″ [with platforms 5′9″] Favorite Food: Hot and spicy noodles, the hotter and spicier the better Hated Food: cheddar cheese...just by itself, he likes it in food fine.  Best Subject: Summoning Club: N/A  Personality: As any good old imp, he’s mischievous Unique Magic: ??? hee hee who’s he to hex and tell?  Fun fact: He even wears platforms to class. he likes being tall 

Rowdon initially was quite rough and rowdy in the beginning of the year, causing more mischief than he was worth and driving Ammiras and Tallis insane trying to keep him in line. Rowdon rarely even respected Tallis’ as vice dorm leader and often quite picked on him only to get retaliation in turn. However Tallis might have misunderstood what Rowdon was pointedly trying to do. He actually has quite an eye for Tallis...well not initially but he quickly caught his favor with his resilience and bite back with the smart things he did to get back at Rowdon even if he still put his foot down as vice dormleader and technically in charge because of how busy Ammiras is always off doing whatever he pleases. 

Rowdon actually considers Tallis’ his fiance though mostly as a joke because Tallis put a muzzle on him after Rowdon bit him that one time before Ammiras really stepped in and shook Rowdon straight. You really don’t want to upset dorm leader Ammiras. It’s not pretty. Rowdon ended up being assigned to help Tallis’ with anything he required. It was basically Ammiras’ “Our get along shirt” except instead of making them wear a shirt together it’s just making them spend time together so you’ll get tired of being spiteful and hateful towards eachother and it’s worked...for the most part. 

Thanks to that Rowdon now rarely getting any free time to pull any mischief himself, he’s actually gotten back into his path of Sigils. Rowdon’s quite adept with them and easily knows how to craft them up and many times they’re not even standard! It’s ones he’s made almost completely from memory and what he knows will work for why. He is quite a savant and with Rowdon not getting to putz around he’s already gotten his three tier spikes before the year was even over with! 

[Which to understand is that most END their first year with three spikes instead of already achieve it before the end of the year] 

However

Rowdon quite enjoys the underground scene, while there may have been warnings about the Gambler . Rowdon actually works for The Gambler, his right hand and typically is the one who shows people the way in to get to the place. After the fees have been collected and boss says they can. While he has no clue who The Gambler genuinely is he just flat out doesn’t care. He thinks he’s the coolest, baddest, and best. How impressive he is, how amazing he pulls these stunts, how fun it is to watch the losers squirm and struggle to make it out with only light scrapes though good luck with that . Quite the muscle too, throwing people out and making people know. They don’t talk about what goes on in the underground
