On June 16th, 2024, from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM, the Universal School of Administration is organizing a marathon to raise awareness and support for the conservation of the historic Big Banyan Tree (Dodda Aladamara). This majestic 400-year-old tree, a national treasure, needs our help! Let's unite and run from Ramohalli Cross, Mysore Road to the Big Banyan Tree in Ramohalli.

The event aims to draw the attention of the Karnataka State Department of Horticulture and the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms to implement the recommendations of the A.N. Yellappa Reddy Committee Report. By participating, you can help secure the future of this natural heritage for generations to come.

Welcome to Harbor Days 2015 in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. The 5/10K runs, you will be surrounded by some of the greatest natural resources in the State of Illinois. Much of the weekend’s activities will be centered in North Point Marina, which is part of Illinois Beach State Park. Our 5K run will wind through the Marina Complex and a trail in Spring Bluff Nature Preserve (SBNP). The 10 K race will then continue south into the part of Illinois Beach State Park (IBSP) that has also been designated a Nature Preserve. Both SBNP and IBSP have numerous rare and endangered species of plants and animals
