Any thoughts about Light x Ryuk ship?

It's great! I haven't found that much art or fic of Light being (or trying his dang best to) dom over Ryuk, but the idea of some horrible jackoff like Light just idly toying with Ryuk (who could bite his wiener off anytime) is really fun!

There's also the appeal of them both being vaguely asexual and vaguely aromantic. They're only together canonically by accident. Ryuk finds Light interesting, and Light occasionally likes to use Ryuk. I don't think shinigami have genitals, at least not humanoid ones, and don't generally have humanoid sexual desires. But Light is SO interesting to him, why not play around further in the human world? Meanwhile Light is so clearly uninterested in sex (poor Misa! Actually I have my own weird ideas about Misa x Ryuk (with poor third-wheeled Rem)).

IDK how to really connect them in the sexual sense of the ship. There's def no traditional romance. But I love that Light and Ryuk are just roommates hanging out in a fated yet unimportant relationship! There's a lot of just fun to be had with Ryuk hovering around Light 24/7, and taking up his entire bed :P Plus there's no reason why Ryuk NEEDS Light to feed him apples.. but he really likes it from him :3c

So this Au I have its not really a fleshed out story or anything like that, basically I have no idea what the application would be lol.

So in this Rem is Light's older sister and Ryuk is Misa's older brother.

Rem and Light are those sibling that "hate" eachother. They are constantly getting in fights, but they are also protective of eachother. They both absolutely love Sayu and are realy close with her, and are pretty over protective with her. They are both acting perfect all the time and are all proper but together they devolve into cheap tricks and tactics. They just have that classic sibilant rivalry type thing going on.

Ryuk and Misa are those siblings who make weird noises to eachother and talk about their life together. They have a similar sense of humor when it comes to teasing others, so they get along really well on that aspect.

The big thing with this idea is that Misa and Rem are besties and Light and Ryuk are also best friends. Some versions I like having it where Light and Misa are together. Another verion I like is Rem and Misa together, Light with someone else (whether it be L or Mikami, etc), with Ryuk as the third wheel.

My wonderful mutual @lilligan suggested a version where Misa and Rem are best friends but Ryuk and Light are not. Ryuk believes he and Light are friends but Light would absolutely disagree.

So this doesn't really make sense and its not well organized, I just really like it for the sibling dynamic potential. (mostly Light and Rem, but Ryuk and Misa as siblings would also be cute)

It was probably the only time when Light was the third wheel🤣

During the tennis match between Ryuga a.k.a L and Light Linda arrive, and Light was distracted by Ryuk because he saw something strange in Linda's name, and because of this L won the match.

L saw Light watching in Linda direction and trow the tennis ball, Light didn't see it come and try to catch it, but it was thrown against his arm.

So the tennis match ended, and Linda entered the tennis court. The first thing that she made sure that Light was ok and then Ruyga present her as his girlfriend. After a little chat, Light invited both of them to a café, but Linda refused because they had to do some stuff for uni, and before leaving the two boys, she decided to do something to prove to Light that she and Ryuga were together and kiss L as a goodbye. (She was basically panicking and thought that was the only way to make Light believe that they were L girlfriend and didn't know anything about the Kira case)

L didn't expect that, but he definitely didn't hold back 🤣. (It was funny to see Light's reaction because he didn't expect that )

Chapter IX

The café was rather quiet, most seats inhabited by typing away behind their laptops or cocooned between their books in an anxious attempt to memorise as much as possible. She recognized some of them as her fellow peers, yet she didn’t feel nearly as stressed; she was at the top of her class, she didn’t have much to worry about. Learning things was like riding a bicycle to her. She never forgets, and it’s just the same wheels that keep spinning.

She ordered a cup of tea while she waited, and glanced down at her watch. She had been told to meet at this exact location, at this exact time.

She was waiting for her date.

 “Does my hair look okay?”

Light studied the Shinigami for a good, serious moment. “…I don’t think anyone in this universe or the next would know what to do with your hair.”

“Hm. I’ll take that as a compliment.”

Ryuk had spent quite some time preparing for his big date. He’d dusted off his clothes, polished his accessories, combed his hair and had even convinced Light to get him his own toothbrush. Though when he’d begged to let him borrow his cologne, the boy thought it went too far.

“It would be suspicious,” Light had explained, “People would be confused as to why there was a random waft of expensive perfume passing them.”

“But you humans are so smelly all the time! I can’t tell where which smell is coming from, because you all wear something different and prominent.”

“What does the Shinigami world smell like, then?”

Ryuk shrugged, “Rotten.”

Light pulled up his nose.

“I don’t see why you’re preventing me from having a successful date,” the Shinigami continued, “I can’t wear your smelly fragrance, I can’t wear makeup and you didn’t even tell her it was me she would be going on a date with. It’s not fair.”

“Stop it about the cologne. You’re not wearing makeup, because that’s for girls, mostly. And I can’t just tell her it’s you.”

“Why not?”

“Have you looked in a mirror recently? You’re a Shinigami, not a cute boy from school. She’d freak out. We need to do this through slow, deliberate steps.”

Ryuk huffed, “Fine.”

 When half an hour had passed, she was starting to grow annoyed. Her second cup of tea had long been consumed, and her third one was now getting cold. She picked up her phone.

“I really hope you have a good explanation for this, Light,” she ground out.

She heard some whispers in the background on the other end of the line, before the boy in question finally responded. “I’m sorry, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Is your date not going well?”

“No, it’s not going well. Because no one showed up, you buffoon! Tell me this is not some scheme you’re playing out to get me to do something for you-know-who.”

You-know-who had been the decided upon codeword when they referred to Light’s other identity, or to the Death Note. Well, decided upon by her, really. And Ryuk made the final call, as it was her word against Light’s.

“It’s not, I promise. He must’ve gotten lost or something. I’ll call him, all right?”

“Light, you wouldn’t set me up with idiotic boys who get lost-“

She glanced down at her phone with a gaping mouth. He’d just hung up on her.

 She didn’t have to wait long before Light was able to get a message through. Only, it didn’t come to her phone this time.

“Ryuk? What are you doing here?”

Her mistake was evident; people were looking at her funny. She quickly held her phone back up to her ear, smiling awkwardly at one of her classmates, who had also turned their head in curiosity. She’d have to remind herself of that trick more often if she wished to spend frequent time with the Shinigami in public.

The God of death sat in the booth across from her, so she didn’t have to turn her head oddly for the fake phone call she was having. Well, perhaps her eyes gave her away, as they looked up to meet the eyes towering above hers, even as he was sitting down.

“Light asked me to tag along on your date. You know, for moral support.”

“Moral support? Do you even know what that is? Do you even know what dating entails?” She asked.

He blinked. “Sure. Flowers and kisses and all that. Now, I was also asked to tell you that your date is at the wrong café. I can take you there.”

She sighed in annoyance. “I knew Light couldn’t plan a date for the life of him. He’s never even been on one! I’ll be shocked if he even manages to snag himself a girl. Or boy.”

Ryuk chuckled, and guided her outside.

He floated slightly above her as they walked the streets, careful not to bump into any people. He could not afford to mess this up now, he was so close to finally getting what he wanted. Or attempting to get what he wanted. Asking nicely, probably. Begging, maybe.

She wavered in her step as a breeze flew by. And another. She glanced up at him, her eyebrow lifted.

“Ryuk… are you wearing Light’s cologne?”

The Shinigami gulped. “Eh, I probably spend to much time in his room.”

“Smells a bit too strong for that.”

“Well, perhaps he sprayed it while I was next to him. Why? You don’t like it?”

She only hummed thoughtfully in response, making him sweat from nerves.

 Another thirty minutes passed; this time, at a different café. And she called Light once more.

“I really don’t know where he could be-“

“Light.”

“You know what? I bet he misspelled the word ‘café’. I think I know somewhere he could’ve gone-“

“Light, the fact that you’d even presume I’d go out with someone who shows up late, can’t follow clear directions, or doesn’t know how to spell ‘café’ is honestly insulting. I thought you knew me better than that. Now, if you don’t mind, I’m going home. To study. Like you should be doing right now.”

She hung up on him this time. She barely glanced back at the distressed Shinigami as she stormed out of the shop.

 “You don’t have to follow me around anymore, Ryuk. No date is going to take place any time soon.”

He thought he’d humour her, and floated upside down beside her in the deserted street. He grabbed the rose he’d been hiding slid on his back behind his belt, and held it out to her. “How about I take you out on a date then?”

She suddenly stopped, and he grew wary once more. Until she smiled. Gently taking the rose from his long fingers, she couldn’t help but blush. “When did you get this?”

“Eh, we walked past a flower stand earlier. Snagged one when the lady wasn’t looking.”

“That’s odd. I must’ve missed it.”

Ryuk didn’t have the heart to tell her he’d been carrying it along for the past two days, unable to decide when the right time was to give it to her.

“It’s getting rather dark,” she noted, looking up at the sky.

“Good,” he said, “I’ve got something nice planned for us.”

“You do?”

 It wasn’t quite where she’d expected to end up on a date, but she wasn’t complaining just yet. Until she stepped closer to the ledge of the top of the office building she was standing on, where the people below appeared to have shrunken down to the size of ants.

“Ryuk, not that I mind you taking me up here for the view, but I don’t really do well with standing this close to ledges.”

He grabbed her hand gently, “I won’t let you fall.”

Her lips quirked up, as her eyes moved across his folded wings. “Do you ever really go flying with those anymore? You know, not floating a bit above the ground, but above the clouds?”

“Sometimes.”

“That must be really cool.”

He glanced down at her with a curious look in his eyes. “What’s so cool about it?”

“You know, just the fluffy white below, and nothing but the stars above while the wind blows in your face. I know rollercoasters have tried to recreate what it’s like to fly, but I don’t think they’ve made all that successful attempts.”

“I don’t know what or who rollercoasters are, but I doubt they’d know what it’s like if they don’t even have wings.”

“That’s true.”

He hadn’t taken his eyes off her yet, when an idea struck him. He bent down to his knees. “Hop on.”

“What?!”

“You heard me. Hop on.”

In a no!kira world, both fem!L and fem!light have a crush on misa. how do they try to impress her?

Beyond Birthday “accidentally” (its totally on purpose, he just doesn’t want to admit it) gets involved with the Kira case, and he and Misa become friends while they both annoy light.

Light Yagami wakes up in his teenage bedroom after he died at the Yellow Box warehouse. He still has all his memories, and it’s exactly one day before he originally found the death note.  

The Kira case ended years ago, the Wammy’s House is shut down. Only very few of the original Wammy’s kids are still in touch with each other. Linda hasn’t talked to anyone from Wammy’s in years. One day, Near knocks on the front door of her atelier in LA.

Light Yagami is for whatever reason a Wammy’s kid. (Pre-canon, so not even LABB has happened yet, and we’re ignoring the timeline, so L, Light, Beyond, and the other Wammy’s kids (Near, mello, matt, linda) are all the same age.) Chaos ensues.

Fantasy!AU. The noble knight Light Yagami was tasked with slaying the “evil” monster Ryuk. On his journey through a fantasy land while trying to find and defeat the beast he meets many people, like the cutesy goth witch Misa Amane, the baker’s son L Lawliet (Watari’s the baker) and his twin Beyond Birthday, or the group of 4 students from a wealthy orphanage (Wammy’s House is the orphanage, Linda, Matt, Mello, and Near are the students).

My thoughts on Netflix's Death Note

I just watched the Netflix Death Note movie. In my honest opinion it's a mediocre film at best thanks to some redeeming qualities, but it's still not good. It having redeemable qualities at all makes it the best American made anime-adaptation movie hands down, which is sad because that's a low bar. I found the editing, character introductions, third act, inconsistent tone and the death scenes to be kind of shitty. Music choice was way off. Light's actor felt miscast. Ryuk, L, the second act of the movie, the visuals during dark scenes, and the different spin on the concept were pretty cool. I went in knowing it'd be inaccurate to everything except the rules of the book, so I pushed as much as I could aside and accepted what was left.

In my opinion, if this same director had even a 3 episode mini series instead of a single 2 hour movie he would have had a much better end product. If he had a whole hour to introduce Mia and give her motivations, play with Light’s descent from smart kid to criminal mastermind and show off L's genius before he had L and Light meet. If we spent a whole hour with that conflict, in the same style as the movie presented it, but for an hour rather than 20 minutes it'd make a third act so much more suspenseful. The third act was dogshit because it felt rushed, give it an hour and rewrite the ferris wheel scene's dialogue and it'd be much less silly. It had potential, but not enough time and a lot of things came off as unintentionally funny at the wrong times. It just felt rushed, unlike other adaptations that just felt like they misunderstood everything or tried too hard to go big.

I am about to fucking RANT! 😂😂😂

❗️❗️Spoilers for the Death Note movie ahead (if you haven’t already seen it)❗️❗️ _====================_

Okay, so… I haven’t done a review on anything in almost a year, but that isnt the reason I literally can’t think of a way to start my review on this, besides “FUCK THIS REMAKE!”. I really wanted to start this review (and any reviews i do) off in a more… i guess “professional” way, but there’s absolutely no way I can think of besides that. I’m probably going to skip around a but, all in all i wanna try to keep events in order. So starting from him just sitting there watching the football players and cheerleaders practice, the Death Note falls, blah blah blah, and then a random storm just happens, at first I’m thinking maybe they did that as a excuse for the DN showing up, so i let that slide, although i know its an Americanized remake, i would’ve really liked for them to at least keep him seeing the DN fall from the window in his classroom the same as the anime/manga, I digress though. Then theres the random fight and Mr. Turner (I’m not even gonna fucking call him Light… he doesn’t deserve it) tries to jump in and “save” this girl from these bullies, he gets knocked out and then gets in trouble for doing other people’s work & gets detention 😐… Kay. So this is where I start drifting away from it. Instead of “Turner” meeting Ryuk in his bedroom like he does in the anime, Ryuk shows up in the classroom and to add another layer of bullshit… “Turner” proceeds to scream like a baby back bitch. Thankfully Willem Dafoe was there to actually add something to that scene. Ryuk then makes “Turner” use the DN on the bully that knocked him out (I have to say i kind of enjoyed that scene, strictly for gore lol). Afterwards, he goes home and has a particularly awkward dinner with his Dad to set up his reason (His mom’s murder) to use the DN to rid the world of criminals like his Mother’s killer. Okay, good enough I guess, but then the scene after is where i was completely fucking done. He goes to to talk to Mia Sutton (Misa, who is now his classmate instead of a ‘Kira’ obsessed celeb🙄) and flat out tells her about the DN, lets her watch him kill someone and then brings her back to his house so they can grope each other. Now to get started on my problem with Mia/Misa in general, the first problem of course being the name change. Secondly, as I stated before, she’s his classmate and he is romantically interested in her. In the anime/manga/other live action remakes, Light Yagami used Misa and wasn’t interested in her in any way other than a pawn. He was supposed to be ready to throw her life away like a squished spider wrapped in tissue, the second she fucked up. They completely disregarded something that we are supposed to be consistently reminded of so it shows he is a power crazed nut job with a God Complex. Third, Mia/Misa shares “Turner’s” DN. She doesn’t find one and meet Rem. Which was a fucking critical part in his killing L and clearing his name (she also doesn’t get the shinigami eyes, which was upsetting to me because they were awesome in general lol). Basically Mia/Misa is a sidekick he makes out with and she occasionally gets to write in the Note🤷🏽‍♀️. Shortly after, they find a way to come up with the name Kira and the killing spree ensues. This is where the fucking beacon of hope comes in, people! KEITH MOTHER FUCKING STANFEILD aka L. Lawliett finally enters stage right, and I honestly almost didn’t make it this far, but my overwhelming want to see Keith body his part as L kept me going strong, and he did not disappoint! The mannerisms were spot on, he eats sweets almost every waking minute, the way he sits, slouches, and take off his shoes almost every where is fucking perfect, and also the scene where “His” dad comes to meet L and Watari hands him an ice cream come upon arrival (i was actually happy to see that they did that part, even with the changes to the scene). The only problem i had was with the press conference scene. I would’ve really liked to have seen them do the part where he sets up a criminal on death row and has Light kill him on live TV, mostly because that was where you really see the first small glimpse of just how cunning L is, and that, in turn, sets up the epic Potato Chip scene 😂. “Turner” ends up being followed and they stop writing in the note for a little bit. Mia suggests they kill the person following him and he disagrees, thats when the dynamic changes with Mia & “Turner”. She takes matters into her own hands and kills off “Turner’s” father’s team of detectives. They hold another press conference and this time his father is the one speaking. Mia suggests they kill his fucking father😐. For lack of a better description… im just going to say ‘thats where shit hits the fan’ (although shit hit the fan long before L even appeared). They don’t kill his dad and thats how L finds out “Turner” is Kira. L finds him in a small diner and tells him he knows he is Kira… “Turner” proceeds to fucking dry snitch on himself THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION.!! If it was that easy in the actual anime/manga… the shit would’ve been over in season 1, probably about 10 eps in. So after that painful scene Light decides to use Watari to get L’s name by writing Watari’s name in the DN, but he only has 2 days to do it and Watari will die. He sends Watari out to find the orphanage he grew up in and find his file so he can give “Turner” L’s real name, he tries to use one of the DN’s rules (If the page with the name is burned before time is up, they dont die) as a loophole to save Watari before he dies, but he can only use that one time on one person. L finds out Watari is gone, goes batshit and heads to “Turner’s” house with the force right behind him. Mia is asked to leave so she heads upstairs. She, of course, eavesdrops and while “Turner’s” dad is busy choke-holding the fuck out of L, she runs upstairs to do sneaky shit. The police raid the house to find the DN, but Mia has it. The next day, theres a dance and thats where she decides to give it back to “Turner”. He heads somewhere to check up on Watari’s progress and he starts to say “forget it” when he thinks Watari isnt going to find it in time. “Turner” goes to find the page with his name on it and lo & behold, it’s not there, Watari is shot and killed. Light does a little writing himself, and when he goes back to the dance he confronts Mia and she hits him with the bullshit! She ripped out he the page AND wrote “Turner’s” name in the book. Im not going to lie to you… I was shook 😂. She tells light to bring her the book and relinquish it to her and then she’ll burn the page with his name on it. This kinda pissed me off because Light wouldn’t have even let this shit escalate this far, Misa would’ve been dealt with the moment he sensed any type of insubordination. He does do some smart shit and ends up living in the end but the way it happens is all over the place… its just… bullshit, like the rest of the movie. The ending…. im just going to sum this bullshit up. “Turner” gets the book, the police come, he has to go to the ferris wheel to meet Mia, he gets chased by L, some crazy Kira fan knocks L upside the head with a 2x4 and “Turner” gets on he ferris wheel with Mia after making sure no one else gets on. Mia finds out he wrote her name in the book and she would die if she took the book from him, the ferris wheel fucks up and Mia falls to her death after “accidentally” ripping the page with “Turner’s” name on it out of the DN, and it, all too conveniently, falls into a burning trashcan *gasp*. L finally gets there after waking up, sees the page burning and reads it before its gone. “Turner” falls into the ocean, is eventually saved and hospitalized and the DN is returned to him by one of his pawns. His dense ass father shows up and finally puts 2+2 together, which is where he tells his dad everything. Meanwhile, L finds out where Mia hid the page with Watari’s name on it. Theres a cliff hanger where L is contemplating writing “Turner’s” name on the page. Ryuk laughs, “Turner” asks why and then Ryuk says “ You humans are so interesting.”, then it ends.

This was so underwhelming it was upsetting to me. It leapt over so much of the original plot and changed so much that I almost didn’t even make it to the scene L was introduced. The only reason I even watched until the end was my unbridled want to see Keith Stanfeild play Lawliett and to see how Willem Dafoe did portraying Ryuk, and to say “they did good” is a FUCKING UNDERSTATEMENT! They were the saving faces if the entire movie. There are people out there that actually enjoyed the movie and thats okay, to each their own, but I could not deal. They get brownie points for the gore, Ryuk’s design, and Keith & Willem’s performance. Other than that, it was steaming garbage. To end this review/rant, I would just like to reiterate what I said at the beginning. Fuck. This. Remake!

Light has dug up the hidden Death Note and is holding it. He and L sit on the ground contemplating it.

L: Is that...?

Light: Yes.

L: I knew it!

Light: Hm. *takes out envelope*

L: What's that? Instructions for the next person who finds this notebook?

Light: They're unnecessary now.

L: May I read it?

Light: *pockets it* Maybe later.

L: Hmm...

Light reacts to something.

L: ?

Light: *smiling at nothing* Long time, no see.

L: *thinking* Another shinigami?

Light: *sheepishly glances at L after a pause* ...Ha... Yeah. There's been a change of plans.

L: *looks around*

Light: *glares at nothing* ...THAT'S NOT TRUE!!

L: *frustrated* Umm... Light?

Light: *shrugs and holds out the Death Note to L* *sigh* I suppose if you really want to meet him... *to nothing* ...I know you want to meet him. *to L* I'll warn you: He's a pain in the ass.

New Voice: Aw, you don't mean that!

L looks up after taking the Death Note and sees Ryuk on a tree branch.

Ryuk: Nice to finally meet you, Mr. Detective. I'm the shinigami, Ryuk. How's it going?

L: *a little shaken* Hello.

Light: *to Ryuk* Way to introduce yourself in the most obnoxious way possible.

Ryuk: Sooo...

Light: What?

Ryuk: *holds out his hand* Got any apples?

Light: *laughs* Of course that's your first concern.

Ryuk: Well??

Light: *reaches into his bag* Yeah yeah. You're lucky that I brought one. I wasn't sure if I'd actually be coming here tonight.

L: ...

Light throws the apple to Ryuk.

Ryuk: *catches it* Whoo! You're the best!

L: Apples?

Light: Yup. Remember those dying messages about shinigami loving apples? They were referring to this guy. It's pretty pathetic.

L: *annoyed* Oh, right. Those messages really pissed me off.

Light: *smug* Good. They were supposed to.

Ryuk: "Pathetic?!" Check this out.

Ryuk reaches into his shoulder feathers, pulls out a wrinkly gray apple, and dangles it in front of Light and L.

Light: *cringes* What is that?

Ryuk: An apple from the shinigami world.

L: Ew...

Ryuk: *puts hands on their shoulders* Go ahead. Try it. One bite won't kill ya~.

Light and L hesitantly regard the shinigami apple that Light now holds. They both take bites... and experience instant regret.

L: *violent spits it out* PHHBBBBBTT!! *tries brushing his tongue off* It's SAND. Bleh...

Light: *forces himself to swallow it* Ugh...

Ryuk: There! You see? Imagine centuries with only that to snack on!

Light: *cough* Okay! I get it! *cough* Ahem. Anyways. There's been a change of plans.

Ryuk: I can see that. *Hyuk* I certainly didn't expect this.

Light: *puts a concerned hand on L's shoulder* Neither did I, but it is what it is. L has agreed to help me as Kira.

Ryuk: Oh, really? What happened to make you trust him so much?

Light: It's a good opportunity. Besides, he knows what will happen if he betrays me or steps out of line.

L: *places his hand on Light's* Yes, or if he reneges on our agreement.

Both entwine their hands and gaze at each other fondly. *Death Threats. Sooo romantic~*

Ryuk: *picks teeth* Well, as long as you're sure. *laughs* Should be interesting either way~.

Light: Yes. *stands up* L.

L: Hm?

Light: *closes eyes and puts hands in his coat pockets* I have a vision for a perfect world. A world where good, hardworking people can live without the fear of injustice befalling them. *in blows a dramatic wind, begins walking towards Ryuk* To achieve this, society needs to be cleansed and put on the path of healing and betterment. Alone as Kira, I've given it a head start in the right direction. But, as you've stated, there is resistance, and Kira's presence is still necessary for lasting change. With your experience and resources, there's no doubt that we could overcome any hindrances. *smirks* Together, we'd be unstoppable.

Ryuk: *Hyuk hyuk hyuk...*

Light: *turns and holds out his hand to L* L, I would be honored if you would join me in creating a new, better world.

L watches him while Light gazes imploringly at him. L smiles and begins to get up.

L: Light... Kira... *rushes toward him and grasps Light's outstretched hand* Yes.

Light: Looks like we're going to prove those conspiracy theorists right~.

L: If we must.

Light: Are you ready to help me become the God of a New World?

L: *snort* Only if we workshop that title~.

Light: *pulls L closer* Shut up.

L: *grins* I thought you were accepting criticism now--

Light: There are better uses for that mouth than criticism.

L: Oh, really? Care to show me?

Light: Gladly~.

They kiss. L chuckles as Light pushes him against the tree, still smooching~.

Ryuk: *rubbing neck and looking away uncomfortably* Ahem. Oh, boy. You guys are just gonna do that all the time now, huh?

Light and L are reminded of his presence.

Light: Got a problem with that?

Ryuk: Not really? Just kinda awkward.

Light: No one said you had to watch, moron. In fact, I'd prefer if you didn't.

Ryuk: Henh, yeah. I guess I'll just make myself scarce whenever you two get... frisky~. Heh heh

Light: Well, you might want to get lost then. I believe it's time that L and I properly consummate our new partnership.

L: "C-consummate?"

Light: *leers* Yes~. Are you ready to host communion with your god~?

L: *blushes harder* Uhhh...

Light: *presses closer* I'll show you all the ways you can worship me~!

L: *chokes*

Ryuk: Hyuk~ I thought you weren't gonna kill him.

Light: Some light teasing never killed anyone.

L: *recovers a little* *snort* "Light" teasing...

Light: *bears on him again* Ohh~. You're gonna regret driving a motorcycle tonight~!

L: !!! ♥

Ryuk: *partially covers eyes* Hyuk hyuk! Geez... ^__^U
