भारत में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने Sc St आरक्षण में वर्गीकरण करने तथा एससी एसटी में क्रीमी लेयर बनाने का विचार प्रकट किया है जो कि वर्तमान गरीब और अत्यधिक पिछड़े हरिजनों के उत्थान के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक है। अभी एससी एसटी आरक्षण का भरपूर लाभ सिर्फ धनवान दलित समाज ही ले रहा है क्योंकि उनके पास सभी संसाधन उपलब्ध हैं जिस कारण उनके बच्चे अच्छी कोचिंग और स्कूल में जा रहे हैं और घर पर भी उनको सभी सुविधाओं का लाभ मिलता है जबकि एक आउटसोर्सिंग पर काम करने वाला सफाई कर्मी, अन्य कर्मचारी या ठेला लगाने बाला दलित धन के अभाव में अपने बच्चे को तुलनात्मक रेप से अच्छी शिक्षा नहीं दे पाता है तो जब किसी परीक्षा में गरीब और अमीर दलित के बच्चे प्रतिभाग करते हैं तो उनके आरक्षित वर्ग में एक धनवान दलित समाज का बच्चा अधिक नंबर लाता है और जिस कारण आरक्षण का लाभ उसी अमीर को मिल जाता है। जो दलित प्रोफेसर, आईएएस या अन्य बड़े पद पर कार्यरत है तो उसको आरक्षण की अब क्या आवश्यकता है। दलित समाज में जो पति पत्नी दोनों ही बड़े अधिकारी है उनके घर में प्रतिमाह लगभग 7 लाख रुपए वेतन आ जाता है। इतना धन आने के बाद वह अपनी संतान को बहुत अच्छा ट्यूशन, स्कूल, कॉलेज, कोचिंग उपलब्ध कराते हैं और इतना सब होने के बाबजूद भी उनको एससी एसटी आरक्षण का पूरा लाभ भी दिया जाता है जिसमे कि उन्हें वजीफा, रेलवे यात्रा पास और बहुत सी सुविधाएं निशुल्क दी जाती है।

अब आप तुलना करिए कि एक गरीब दलित हरिजन परिवार का बच्चा और अमीर दलित परिवार का बच्चा जब कोई प्रतियोगी परीक्षा देंगे तो किसके नंबर ज्यादा आयेगे, स्वाभाविक है कि जिस बच्चे को ज्यादा सुविधाएं मिली होंगी, तो जब मेरिट बनेगी तो गरीब बच्चे अपने ही आरक्षित वर्ग के अमीर बच्चों से बहुत नीचे और पीछे होंगे और आरक्षण का लाभ सिर्फ अमीर दलित तक ही सीमित रह जायेगा और गरीब दलित सिर्फ गरीब ही रहेगा। सिर्फ कुछ जातियों को ही इस आरक्षित वर्ग में लाभ मिल रहा है जबकि अन्य बहुत सी जातियां आज भी गरीबी के दलदल में ही फंसी हुई है और इस प्रकार डॉ भीमराव अंबेडकर का सामाजिक बराबरी का सपना अधूरा का अधूरा ही रहा जा रहा है ।

ऐसे में माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय द्वारा दिए गए निर्णय को देखते हुए सभी लोगों को सामाजिक एकरूपता लाने के लिए एससीटी एसटी वर्ग में वर्गीकरण का समर्थन करना चाहिए। विशेष रूप से धनवान दलित समाज को ही अपने समाज के वंचित लोगो को बराबरी पर लाने का अवसर देना चाहिए और इस वर्गीकरण का समर्थन करना चाहिए। साथ ही scsct वर्ग में क्रीमीलेयर भी बनाया जाना बहुत आवश्यक है जिस से सभी दलित समाज को आरक्षण का पूरा लाभ मिल सके। जय हिन्द।

[[Well, a lot of the casteism in desiblr is very covert and in the form of dogwhistles and I don't blame someone who is not trained to look for them to miss the signs. Honestly, I have blocked a lot of desi blogs over their casteist views and I don't have the mental spoons to go through my entire Tumblr blocklist searching for them (which is miles long thanks to the many many many pornbots also being there. Thanks for nothing Tumblr!)

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that a sub-classification would be permissible within reserved category groups for providing benefits of affirmative action.

A 7-judge Constitution Bench headed by CJI D.Y. Chandrachud overturned its 2004 Constitution Bench judgement, which ruled against giving preferential treatment to certain sub-castes within scheduled castes (SCs).
