This was drawn for November's thank you image! It was suggested by Andy S on Patreon, who requested "Nick looking out a window, watching the snow come down, excited for the first snowfall of the season." I really liked the idea because I don't get to draw Nick much, but I modified the idea slightly to be him going out for a run instead. :3

Unique red drum spots on fishes.
Scientists believe the spots trick predators into attacking the tail instead of the head, allowing the fish to escape. Most red drum have one spot on each side, on or near the tail. Having no spots is extremely rare, but as the fish grow older, they seem to lose their excess spots.
