Coming in September, the crossover AU you didn’t know you needed! It’s Angel Barbie, written by yours truly with art from decquinox as a part of Do It With Style’s Silver Screen Bang

Excerpt under the cut
“Who’s this guy, Uncle AJ? New boyfriend?” Aziraphale turned and found the owner of the voice. A teenaged girl with light brown skin, dark curly hair pulled away from her face in a simple ponytail, and a decidedly bored expression.
“Hello to you, too, Pep,” said Anthony, and then he looked back at Aziraphale. “This is Aziraphale. You are, aren’t you? Angel Aziraphale?”
“I am,” he stared into Anthony’s golden eyes. They were beautiful.
Pepper’s eyes were huge. “The Barbie doll you designed? How is that even possible?”

How long did/do the Cullens have flip phones for? I ask because it’s very important that Emmett played Pokémon go in 2016
the thing is........
if i recall, canonically (🤢) the Cullens' skin doesn't register on touchscreens
Emmett def does not seem like the kinda guy who is into new tech or cares about smartphones whatsoever. however,
Emmett WOULD be into Pokémon Go IMMENSELY. he loves camaraderie, he loves chatting, he loves gaming in general
conclusion:
to this day, he doesn't have a smartphone. he got Bella (who DOES have a smartphone and ALSO plays Pokémon Go) to show him everything he needs to know. bc for him, it's not about the game so much as it is the community. (my man seems more like a Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat/SSB/CoD/FPS, maybe RPG type.) he just follows the gaggles of humans around to talk.
Bella grew out of it, but he kept dragging her along with him. eventually, she's hiding out to escape the raids, her Pokemon team abandoned. Rose is starting to get pissed he's spending so much time away, so he starts sneaking out of the house
bc truly, the comedic value alone is worth it. picture this: he's out there running around having conversations about how to defeat the gym leader or where the nearest PokeMart is. man has never played in his damn life. people start following him around. he's coordinating groups. he's giving out advice. people wonder why he never has his phone on him; he always says it's charging. they ask about his team; every time he gives a different answer. rumors swirl.
finally, he's out there one day with a huge group, & he turns to you like, "check it out, i'm just about to catch this Charizard."
he flashes you his flip phone screen
he's actually just playing a game of Brick Breaker
you never see him again
#AND HE'S STILL OUT THERE LAUGHING ABOUT IT#man will do literally anything to entertain himself#man will make a game out of playing a game just to entertain himsef#life is a JOKE to him#twilight#twilight renaissance#tts#emmett cullen#bella swan

Here’s my note before I’ll get started….
(NO COPYING OR PLAGIARIZING FROM ME AND ONE OF MY CLOSEST FRIEND’S WORK! THAT INCLUDES OUR CHARACTERS, DESIGNS, STUFF, ETC. IMPOSTERS AND SEXBOTS ARE NOT WELCOME TO FOLLOW MY BLOG WHATSOEVER! 😡 That will be all….I mean it.)
“Day 16: Fighters 😈👊💥”
I’m now having throughout the weekdays when getting ready for tomorrow’s program and so on. Just hoping I can move on after finishing up my Inktober artwork plans til this month’s end. Sure would be deserving some candy during Halloween. 🙂👍
Now onto Day 16; as part of a countdown til “Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2” game release in November this year. If I would to pick any Nicktoons characters that could fit in, these two troublemakers sure takes the cake. (Not Harvey Beaks because he’s a pacifist to get himself hurt)
I used to watched “Harvey Beaks” from recent times, but sure would’ve deserved recognition more. Why not bringing its representation to future installments of All-Star Brawl series? I would be surprised if it does happened in official news.
BTW, I’d take this versus screen from the latest SSB game as the inspiration. Looks cool where I’d made from scratch, huh?

They’re not a super popular ship in terms of romance, but they’re 100% a thing and always side by side in fan works more often than Ganondorf with Bowser, so they’re a duo for sure (that and OoT came out around the same time as FFVII I think so more shared history there)
Ah, see I think I've seen more Ganondorf and Bowser associations because of Brawl's plot giving them some shared screen time (and of course both being big Nintendo properties, and growing up with the jokes about Nintendo having one (1) color palette for BBEGs). Not in a ship sense, just their general "I know that guy from work" fan stuff.
But I don't really shop in Final Fantasy or the latest SSB sectors often, so I haven't seen them before!
#then again in FF7 I really only cared about Cid and also Barret kljkdas not that ff isn't great!! I have HUGE respect for that franchise#and what it did for storytelling and exploring and gaming in general. MASSIVE respect for the FF series#VII was just something that my friends were super into and I kind of hung out and liked the grumpy little team dads#you know how when you're a teenager and everyone around you is So Pumped about Thing and you just don't have it in you? that was me lol#My KH friends were foaming at the mouth over Cloud and Seph and Sora and Riku and fam I tried to care I really did I tried so hard#but I couldn't!! It's not for me. The closest I got to caring about seph was loz in advent children he is all tiddy and zero brain 10/10#I didn't end up playing FF7 until like 2006 and then again in 2017 and I remember it was good!#But while I could tell you all about Cid I really only vaguely remember the main story asdasklj megacorp bioengineering and ? aliens ??#tldr I wave at FF through the window from across the street laksda I enjoyed 7 and I'll play the remake but it's really not my scene#Same with SSB. I appreciate them both I have fun playing them but it's generally not something I think about when I'm not physically playin#square has some of the most innovative storytelling in the industry don't get me wrong I just rarely crave the flavor they sell ykwim??

Funny Fang Plushie videos because reasons…
I LOVE THEM ALL XD
Each video had a different plot and feel, and I’m here to share them!
So…SuperSonicBlake’s Fang
youtube
This video was basically: Eggman hired hitman, hitman is Fang, Fang tries to kill Sonic, Sonic doesn’t die :]
This part always made me laugh
“Are you looking…”

“FOR ME?!?”

Basically, we learn that SSB’s Fang is from Australia, and he has done his job for over 20 years. He has two names, and he knew Sonic and the two kinda just talked as normal friends before the gun just came up lol.

Then we move onto the second video SuperSonicBlake’s Fang has starred in
youtube
Basic plot is that Fang stole King Tut’s tomb (we learn later that he did not actually steal King Tut’s tomb, it was just toilet paper) and he crashes at Sonic’s place. Sonic actually kinda thinks the crime was cool and then Mario comes in, blah blah blah, Fang doesn’t go to jail thank goodness.

Also Fang’s lines are just spectacular: “Is it because I’m taller than you, strawberry shortcake? Or should I say, blueberry shortcake?”
Alright, then the last two
youtube
youtube
So not much happened with Fang in these videos, but Fang in the first video, is aware of the new game having him, and Sonic gets mad that he wasn’t aware of the game earlier.
In the gameplay, he just is spoken about.
But in these videos, what makes me laugh is the fact that Sonic makes these compliments to Fang out of context.

I mean come on, “gorgeous”? Sonic, I understand but it’s just so funny to me. And when he was on screen, he went: FANNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!
Moving on, let’s see Cartoon Neon’s Fang!
youtube
In this, Sonic gets accused of committing (as what Fang calls it) Spoonery. A hedgehog stole a spoon and Fang tries to figure out who did it. It was Shadow btw. BUT TOTAL SIDE-NOTE: The battle with Fang and Eggman was too funny, I swear. XD
“SHUT UP!”

“*gasp*”

In this video, we learn that Fang is a sherif and calls some of the locals young, which makes me think he’s noticeably older than Sonic and co. Btw, Fang said he needed a lot of therapy at the end sooo :’[
More of CN’s Fang: we got this
youtube
Main thing: Sonic is gone, we need to find out what happened to him.
Fang joins the mystery cuz well, he’s the sherif and he also wants to find Sonic. Not much of him here, but Metal Sonic having a boyfriend is cute ^ ^

Btw, if Metal’s boyfriend is found, please tell me.
So basically, CN’s Fang is very goofy :>
MOVING ON WE GOT SFF’s FANG
youtube
Little much since it’s a short video, but Fang was mainly the criminal who actually was just wanting to find his pet, Burpee. *Fang also spoke Spanish

Btw, when Fang realized that his lost pet was found, THE CLIMAX WENT EMOTIONAL MUSIC AND EVERYTHING. IT HONESTLY MADE ME QUESTION MY FEELINGS.
Like, Fang and Knuckles hugged it out :’]

IDK, very nice video and the ending is priceless.

And those are the story driven ones, but there is one toy review that I BEG ALL OF YOU GUYS TO SEE
youtube
I SWEAR, JUST WATCH THE STARTING SKIT PLZ

I haven’t laughed so laughed in so long like wow thanks.
Also the edits on the video are funny, so I recommend watching the full thing. PLEASE

And that’s it!
Please give more notice around Fang plushie videos!
—
UPDATE: NVM THERES MORE
youtube
SPA’s Fang is precious and ALSO is from Australia, was sent to Texas to kill Sonic. But then at the end he became family with Sonic! ^ ^

#sonic fandom#sonic#fang the sniper#nack the weasel#sonic the hegdehog#fang the jerboa#fang the hunter#LOOK#PLZ LISTEN#listen#FANGGGGG#Fang#I BEG#Youtube

Top 7 Mistakes in SSB Interview – And How to Avoid Them

Cracking the SSB Interview is not just about knowledge—it's about how you present yourself as a potential leader in the armed forces. Many deserving candidates get screened out due to avoidable errors. Here are the top 7 mistakes in the SSB interview and how you can steer clear of them:
Unclear Self-Understanding
Candidates often fail to express their real personality. Know your strengths, goals, and life experiences well—this reflects clarity and honesty in your responses.
Fake or Rehearsed Answers
SSB boards spot memorized lines instantly. Be natural and answer genuinely, especially in the PI and Psychology tests.
Poor Communication Skills
Whether in group discussions or GTO tasks, clear and respectful communication is key. Practice regularly in English and learn to listen as much as you speak.
Low Physical Fitness
Physical stamina is a must. Begin with basic exercises and gradually build endurance.
Lack of Group Spirit
Your officer potential is judged on cooperation, not dominance. Always support your team during tasks.
Improper Body Language
Confidence shows in posture and eye contact. Avoid nervous habits like tapping or slouching.
Ignoring Defence Awareness
Stay updated with current affairs, defence updates, and national issues to show you’re aware and involved.
Conclusion
The SSB interview is about how well you understand and carry yourself - not just your academics. Be honest, stay confident, and let your real personality shine. For more information, visit Invicta Defence Academy Website.

NDA Written + SSB: How to Balance Your Preparation Effectively
Preparing for the NDA (National Defence Academy) examination is one of the most ambitious goals for young aspirants who dream of serving the nation as officers in the Indian Armed Forces. However, the challenge does not end with clearing the NDA written exam — the SSB interview, which follows, is equally crucial and requires dedicated and strategic preparation.
For aspirants aiming for success in both the NDA written exam and the SSB interview, striking the right balance between the two is essential. While both stages test different skills, preparing for them in harmony ensures you’re not just exam-ready, but officer-ready.
In this blog by Centurion Defence Academy — India’s best NDA coaching institute — we’ll discuss a comprehensive roadmap to help you balance NDA Written + SSB preparation effectively, boosting your chances of success in the first attempt.
Understanding the Two-Stage Process
Before we dive into the strategies, it’s important to understand the key differences between the NDA Written Exam and the SSB Interview.
1. NDA Written Exam
Conducted by: UPSC
Mode: Offline (pen and paper)
Subjects: Mathematics (300 marks) and GAT – General Ability Test (600 marks)
Duration: 2.5 hours for each paper
Focus Areas: Academic knowledge, problem-solving skills, English, current affairs, science, history, geography, and general mental ability.
2. SSB Interview
Duration: 5 Days
Conducted by: Services Selection Board
Stages:
Screening (Day 1)
Psychological Tests (Day 2)
GTO Tasks (Days 3-4)
Personal Interview
Conference (Day 5)
Focus Areas: Personality, leadership qualities, officer-like qualities (OLQs), psychology, communication, team spirit, confidence, problem-solving.
Key Takeaway: The NDA Written exam tests academic and mental aptitude, while the SSB evaluates your personality, attitude, and leadership potential.
Why Balancing Both is Important
Many aspirants make the mistake of focusing entirely on either the written exam or the SSB. However, this imbalance can cost you the final selection.
If you crack the written exam but are unprepared for SSB, you lose the opportunity.
If you focus only on SSB and fail the written exam, you don’t even get to the interview.
Hence, a balanced preparation strategy increases your chances of securing a final recommendation.
Phase-wise Balanced Preparation Strategy
Phase 1: Foundation Stage (8–12 Months Before Exam)
Focus Areas:
Strengthen your core academics — especially Mathematics and GAT.
Build general awareness and current affairs knowledge.
Start developing communication skills and basic personality grooming.
Action Plan:
Daily Study Routine: Dedicate 3–4 hours to written subjects (Maths, English, Science, GK).
SSB Foundation: Read newspapers, speak in English, join group discussions.
Join an Integrated Program: Enroll in a coaching institute like Centurion Defence Academy, where written + SSB training is provided together.
Psychological Preparation: Begin self-awareness exercises, writing stories (like TAT), and observing your behavior patterns.
Phase 2: Intermediate Stage (5–7 Months Before Exam)
Focus Areas:
Master written exam syllabus and mock test practice.
Begin structured preparation for SSB.
Attend mentorship programs and work on OLQs.
Action Plan:
Test Series & Revision: Take weekly mock tests for NDA Maths and GAT.
SSB Preparation Classes: Attend SSB training sessions regularly. Work on WAT, TAT, SRTs.
Join GTO Practice Sessions: Centurion’s SSB ground training helps you get real-time exposure to GTO tasks.
Develop Confidence: Practice public speaking, narrating stories, and giving PPDT explanations in groups.
Phase 3: Final Stage (1–3 Months Before Exam)
Focus Areas:
Intensive revision and exam strategy for NDA written.
Simultaneous readiness for immediate SSB call after results.
Action Plan:
Revision Plan: Solve previous year papers, improve time management, focus on weak areas.
Interview Prep: Work on your PIQ form details, background knowledge, and mock interviews.
Mental Conditioning: Practice meditation, physical fitness, and time-bound psychological tests.
Centurion’s NDA Mock Interview Panel: Take real interview simulations to boost confidence.
Daily Time Management Plan (Sample)
6:00 AM – 7:00 AM Engage in physical training and fitness exercises to improve stamina, discipline, and endurance.
7:00 AM – 8:00 AM Have a healthy breakfast and read the newspaper to stay updated on current affairs and improve reading habits.
8:00 AM – 11:00 AM Focus on NDA written exam subjects such as Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Practice SSB psychology tests including WAT (Word Association Test), TAT (Thematic Apperception Test), PPDT (Picture Perception and Discussion Test), and SRT (Situation Reaction Test).
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Take a lunch break and rest to refresh your mind and body.
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Revise important topics and attempt mock tests to build speed and accuracy for the written exam.
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Participate in personality development activities like group discussions, lecturette practice, and public speaking.
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Perform GTO (Group Testing Officer) tasks or engage in outdoor team-based physical activities.
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Review the day’s progress, self-assess, and take feedback from mentors to improve.
After 7:00 PM Do light reading or relaxing activities, have dinner, and sleep early to ensure proper rest and mental recovery.
Tips for Maintaining Balance in Preparation
1. Avoid Over-Specialization
Don’t focus solely on the written exam or SSB. Both are equally important. Keep a parallel focus.
2. Know Your Strengths and Weaknesses
Identify where you lag — whether it’s written skills or personality traits. Work smartly to improve them.
3. Take Guidance from Experts
Enroll in a comprehensive coaching program like Centurion Defence Academy, where expert mentors provide both written and SSB guidance under one roof.
4. Don’t Wait for Results to Start SSB Prep
Begin your SSB preparation along with your NDA written exam. Don’t wait till you clear the written test — that’s too late.
5. Stay Consistent
Balanced preparation isn’t about doing everything in one day. It’s about consistency over weeks and months.
How Centurion Defence Academy Helps You Balance Both
Centurion Defence Academy has emerged as the No.1 NDA Coaching in India, known for producing maximum selections in NDA Written + SSB.
Here’s how Centurion supports your balanced NDA journey:

The Importance of Interview Techniques in Defence Selections
The interview round in defence selection is not just about answering questions; it is about showcasing your leadership, presence of mind, confidence, and personality. Whether it is the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview or other defence-related personal assessments, you need a well-prepared strategy to excel.
1. Understanding the SSB Interview Process
The SSB interview is a five-day-long assessment that evaluates a candidate's potential through various tasks, including:
Screening Test (Officer Intelligence Rating and Picture Perception & Discussion Test)
Psychological Tests (Thematic Apperception Test, Word Association Test, Situation Reaction Test, and Self-Description Test)
Group Testing Officers (GTO) Tasks (Group Discussion, Group Planning Exercise, Progressive Group Task, etc.)
Personal Interview (A one-on-one interaction with the interviewing officer)
Conference (Final assessment and recommendation)
Each stage is designed to test the qualities of a future leader, and only the best-prepared candidates succeed.
