ok first of all- i missed my babies. It's been so long. I feel so stupid for deleting my works related to them (in which I've been trying to recover any piece I could find online, in good image quality.)

I was young, naive mostly, for letting a show's convoluted canon and part of the fandom dictate me in how I should feel about these characters. No more. I know better now. Rule of Cool baby!!!

everybody needs to read this because this speaks true. We all need to enjoy the shows we love and not think too hard on it or try to put realism into this and make it a serious discussion. The creators and riders of the show had limited time. They had no choice, but to rush it. I like it…. Maybe the ending could’ve been a little bit different but I still like it all the same. If no one else liked it, that’s their deal. But they don’t have to ruin it for the rest of us nor think too hard on it and get so serious about it.

My retrospective on the Star vs. the Forces of Evil Series Finale, 1 year later.

One year ago today on May 19, 2019, the Series Finale of Star vs. the Forces of Evil episode “Cleaved” aired, thus marking the end of the series. I just want to let you know that Star vs. the Forces of Evil was one of my favorite animated shows during the latter half of the 2010s during my late teens into my early adulthood, I loved the characters and the storytelling and if I’m a bit biased, Starco, but despite a few hiccups, I do think that overall It was a good series that I believe that people should watch. You may not entirely agree with everything I have to say, but I want to talk about my further opinions on the episode Cleaved and a few episodes before that as a whole, and why I didn’t think the episode is bad as some people have said. 

Some fans and critics felt that the ending was rushed, and incomplete and left many plot points open, many accused of Star committing a “Multiverse Mass Genocide” and only Destroyed Magic, all because she thought she’d never see Marco again and that it’s the only way they’ll be together, which rubbed some people the wrong way, with some thinking it’s the “Worst Series Finale of All Time”, or something like that somewhat making me feel guilty, but I wanted to give an in-depth, level-headed approach to this, and why I think there’s some good in it.

I don't like Eclipsa at all and I know I might get questioned by 99.999% of the starvs fandom for saying this. BUT I admit she was a important person throughout Star's journey, and that it's really sweet that she's very supportive with my blondie.

Eclipsa used to be fave during s3 bc her character was really likeable, interesting, misterious and dark in a good way. I even made a MV dedicated to her in 2018. Suddenly she was such an incompetent lazy queen, irresponsible, selfish, and she became another daron's self insert in the show to be a starco brainrot during s4 and saying "Star is so wiseeeee, she's wiser than me and moon ughhhh"
