In their second year, Seamus refused to leave Dean alone for even a second because muggleborns were targets. Dean also found it hard to fall asleep after more students were being petrified.

Seamus started sneaking into Dean’s bed at night to help him sleep, he would sing him lullabies.

His voice would crack mid-song, but Dean didn’t care. It wasn’t the song that mattered, it was Seamus. Seamus right there beside him, holding him, as long as he heard Seamus’ voice he could sleep soundly.

Now imagine Seamus singing Siúil a Rún to Dean when he was scared, imagine this following into their older years as the war begins finding its way to Hogwarts, imagine Seamus singing this to Dean while he’s on the run and unable to hear, hoping that it will somehow reach him, imagine them in their adult years and this this song playing at their wedding and Dean trying not to drift off to sleep.
