i want a spin off of just five’s diner. i want to know how it came to be, why nobody has paradox psychosis, how the nicknames happened, why brisket five always wrecks shit, et cetera. i’m obsessed because every five in there is better than the one we got!
“You still planning on making a home here?” // “Not if I can't get the Knicks game.” // “Well, just as long as a brutal infanticide doesn't weigh into your decision. Good night, Mulder.” // “Good night, Mom.”
It's so funny to me that every single actor in the umbrella academy thought season four was a joke when they were told what certain plotlines would be.
Like, even in interviews they're like 'aha, if you're a fan, have zero expectations! you're gonna be pissed off! Even I was pissed off, and I thought they were having a laugh when they told me what my character was gonna get up to this season'
Even THE ACTORS, who LOVED working on this show, hate this season. At that point it cannot possibly be considered canon.
I actually think the emotionally hardest part of the ending of TUA was seeing the timelines break down, going from the season 4 timeline to the flashback of Five as the world ended originally after he jumped forward in time, and knowing none of it mattered. Bro spent nearly his whole life fighting to get back to his family, only to find out that actually all that struggle was for NOTHING. The years in the apocalypse were for nothing, the work with the Commission was for nothing, and in the end despite all the struggle that actually happened for each and every one of them, the Umbrella Academy just ceased to exist, in a timeline where they’d never been even a thought. Like HOW. I’m in tears help me. So emotional that actually…it ended in a timeline where none of the struggle ever mattered, and never happened, but we got to see all of it.
This may seem crack but the two people we see be strapped into those machines are the two people who have kids, and we do seemingly see those kids in the trailer.

"Agent Mulder has been concerned. He's been supportive through this time. I guess I never realized how much I rely on him before this ... his passion ... he's been a great source of strength that I've drawn on."
