the tv guide website has interesting listings for the episodes. it now has “the finale (part 1)” and “the finale (part 2)” under their seasons and episodes list. it also shows(for my area at least) a 3 hour & 15 minute airing for the finale ?? after two 30 min finales ?? what is going onnnnn im too scared to ask wwditstwt 😭😭

it's hard for me to answer this properly as I'm not in north america and that's the only place showing info on these episodes as they air on fx. but I'll try and give all the info I have if it helps:

the canadian fx website is where it first listed the VERSION A, C, and ALTERNATE ENDING and ANOTHER ALTERNATE ENDING. others have followed suit.

people are also reporting that these different versions have different run times, two clocking in around 30 mins, and one at around 45 mins.

some listings are showing the episodes as all episode eleven, whereas others are showing as episode eleven, episode twelve, episode thirteen. we can now add to that what you've listed - part 1, 2, etc! which is most accurate? who can say.

doug jones says they filmed multiple "endings", and he appears in one of them. an old bts photo shows what looks like parisa fakhri (marwa) on set with doug jones.

at a guess, maybe half or more of each episode will be the same, and then they all branch off in their own direction at one point, with one being longer than the other. but that's still pretty open to interpretation and could be not remotely what happens.

I'd imagine that shadowsfx have some vague promo planned for tomorrow to clue people in, but whether it'll make anything clearer or just more confusing...well.

so idk if any of that is helpful but that's where things are at, approximately. afaik.

What We Do In The Shadows release date is finally (kind of) announced! via multiple sources for posters at SDCC ahead of con appearance in the next few days.

21st October 2024!

(US/Hulu - no word on worldwide release schedule as per)

What We Do In The Shadows is nominated for a total of EIGHT Emmys this year, including Outstanding Comedy Series.

The only cast member to be nominated is Matt Berry for his portrayal of Laszlo in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series category.

The show has racked up 21 nomination previous to this year, and one win.

Also recognised in the 2024 nominations are Production Design, Sound Mixing, Editing, Stunt Coordination, Costumes, and Writing.

Awards are announced in Sept...maybe we'll see the new season by then???!!!

At the FYC Emmy event last night in LA, the gang schmoozed and posed for photos much like these

It was also confirmed that Zach Woods, who moderated their panel, would be guest starring on the show in season six

WWDITS production designer Shayne Fox confirms what some have suspected, that What We Do in the Shadows was indeed cancelled - albeit with an opportunity to create its own ending with a farewell season, which is rare and welcome.
