This little lady, My Pretty Konidela, came to my life on November 17 last year, at all of three weeks old, give or take a day.

And I've loved seeing her grow, and discover the world (And all the things she wants to eat)

Getting her older sister Hei Hei used to her...

Realizing that there are SOME plushies she's not allowed to eat...

ME REalizing that I don't think she'll ever grow into her huge ears...

Finding NEW places to climb....

Watching Telugu movies with her, because she is proud of her name's origins...

She likes to cuddle with her namesake, MR. Konidela...

Hide from her older sister Serenghetti...

Try to eat me, since I NEVER feed her (according to her)

Seriously, see her not realize her ears are so big...

And in general, see her grow! So I wanted to share you the photos of her first two months with me with you!

This is my older sister Hei hei (Mom says she's not very bright but I think she's the coolest cat in the universe, after my other older sister Serenghetti). She said the Tardis wasn't big enough for both of us now, even when I used to sleep there with her when I was younger (that was all of four months ago!)

But she has also taught me that where we fit? We sit. So I did that!

Hei hei is still my most comfy pillow!

SMALL issue about writing "No hablo ingles" Jake Lockley.

See, we latin speaking people LOVE to talk about people we love with diminutives. Not just their names, but also their pet names. SO if your nickname is, say, Corazon, sooner or later it will become Corazoncito, and that is as unavoidable as dancing to La Macarena at a wedding.

It WILL happen, so don't fight it.

As I said, this also goes for pets. So if your pet starts being named, say, Serenghetti, like my cat, in less than 6 weeks, she'll be Gatitita (Kitten), or Serenita because sorry Bichita, I like Sailor Moon too, and Serenghettita doesn't flow right. Oh, you saw that Bichita? Well, that's because we call our Cats (Gatos), Bichos (Bugs). And so, she went from Bicha, to Bichita, to Michita I have no idea why (Probably a mix of Mine and Bicha), and so on and right now the adorable Michifusa (A mixture of Micha and Misifus, which is a common nickname for cats) is asleep in my arms as I try to undo the bucket of angst I created for our boys.

AHEM. Ok, going back to the Moon boys and their Bird god.

It is taking ALL of my will power not to have Jake call Khonshu "His bird". Because while yes, in English, it would be normal as... Khonshu IS a bird and I just explained how we latin end up summarizing EVERY animal to their species in general and then from then we go to the diminutive?

Uhm... SEe... "Pajarito" in spanish, Mexican spanish at least which is the one I speak? Is slang for penis.

So while yes, Marc and Steven would agree that Khonshu is a bit of dick... I just dissolve into a giggling 13 year old everytime I have to hit back space because I wrote Jake saying that he misses "his pajarito" (I must assure you that I do not write gender-bend fics anymore, so Jake's literal "pajarito" is right where it should be)

Which is not helping as I ALSO dissolve into a giggling mess when I try to find a better diminutive for Khonshu than Khonshuchito, or Shuchito, or Khonshito (that one sounds a bit too much like concha, which for Argentina and OTHER southern latinamerican countries plus Spain? Is slang for vagina which of course, brings YET another giggling mess, just in the opposite direction)

Seriously Jake, I do love you and I love writing monolingual you, but you ARE a challenge.

(BTW, non-spanish speakers, would you like a tiny guide as to WHAT words a bilingual spanish speaker would suddenly express in the middle of an english rant if they are fluent in both languages? Because one constant feedback I get in my fic is how obvious it is that I am latina given how I write the Jake spanish, so I figure I could give you some tips if you want them)
