Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World coming to PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on May 3

Ratalaika Games, in partnership with Masaya Games and Shinyuden, will release classic action platformer sequel Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on May 3. Wishlisting is now available via PlayStation Store.

Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World first launched for PC Engine CD-ROM² in Japan on February 28, 1992. It has since been re-released on multiple platforms since, including PlayStation 3, PS Vita, PSP, PC, and Wii U.

Ratalaika Games has previously re-released the original Cyber Citizen Shockman and sequel Cyber Citizen Shockman 2: A New Menace for modern consoles.

Originally released in 1992, Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World brings another blast from the past! After Sonya wins a big prize in the lottery, she and Arnold travel to a tropical southern island to enjoy some well-deserved holidays. However, paradise soon turns into hell when a strange spaceship appears all of a sudden and starts attacking the city. Unable to just sit around and do nothing while chaos unfolds, Arnold and Sonya transform into Shockman and head to battle this new mysterious enemy!

レイジングダスクも結構日本の妖怪のマニアックなとこまで切り込んでたりする割には随所に独特で怪しげなセンスを感じて、言われると確かに……と腑に落ちる感じでしょう？

Retro Mystery Club Vol. 2: The Beppu Case coming west in early spring for Switch, PC

Shinyuden will release mystery adventure game Retro Mystery Club Vol. 2: The Beppu Case for Switch and PC via Steam in early spring in the west for $9.90 / €9.90, the company announced.

Retro Mystery Club Vol. 2: The Beppu Case first launched in Japan for Switch on July 7, 2022, followed by PC via Steam on August 8, 2022, and PlayStation 4 on September 9, 2022. It is unclear whether Shinyuden plans to release the PlayStation 4 version in the west.

Gleylancer Brings Classic Shoot 'Em Up Action Back to Consoles

  Originally released for Sega Mega Drive in Japan back in 1992—eventually making its way to the rest of the world via the Wii Virtual Console in 2008—classic shoot 'em up Gleylancer is about to mount a comeback. Ratalaika Games has teamed up with Masaya Games and Shinyuden to release the game on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch digitally on October 15, priced at $6.99. 

  The new port of Gleylancer features improved modes with accessibility features and updated controls, and you can see the announcement trailer below.
