Noida, India – The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024 concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impression on attendees and participants alike. Adding to the grandeur of the event, two coffee table books were launched, designed by young designers from the AAFT School of Fashion Communication: “Zodiac Symbolism” by Digbijoy Majumdar, “Red Indians” by Rashi Khajuria

The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024 was not just a fashion show; it was a celebration of excellence, creativity, and cultural exchange. The event featured garments influenced by the culture of 72 countries of the World.

Romania: Highlighted by the works of Manisha, Babita, and Meenu. Malaysia: Influences seen in the designs by Anushka and Saanch. Vietnam: Beautifully presented by designer Sulakshana and Peru: Stunning garments designed by Nishi.

H.E. Mateja Vodeb Ghosh praised the rising standards of Global Fashion Week Noida, expressing admiration for the event’s growth and the exceptional quality of the designs. H.E. 6th Global Fashion and Design Week Projected Countries in A Row

Noida: After the grand opening in the Morning 6th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2022 continued with projection of fashion garments influenced by the culture of different countries on the prestigious ramp of the festival in the presence of whos who of Delhi and National Capital Region.

“Fashion is the part of the daily air and it changes all the time, with all events. You can even see the approaching of a revolution in clothes. You can see and feel everything in clothes. Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street. Fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI & AAFT School of Fashion And Design.

What a pleasure to see the fashion garments influenced by the culture of my country Sudan. I will definitely talk about this show to many,” said Obay Kunna, Culture Secretary, Embassy of Sudan. “I am amazed by the preparation done for this fashion show and the fashion week, which is no less than the international show anywhere in the World,” said Prasoon Dewan CEO, Divish Aurum Private Limited.

“Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it, how you carry garments does Matter,” said Anoop Bose Supreme Court lawyer and a film maker. “Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It’s not about brands. It’s about something else that comes from within you,” added Sumita Das, Founder President, Life of Vision Foundation.

Sandeep Marwah Honored in Zurich at Bharat Mahtotsav

Zurich: A well know film, television and media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah was honored in a high profiled event designed to celebrate Bharat Mahotsav influenced by Prime Minister’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Hotel Hyatt Zurich in Switzerland organized by Delhi based Ngo Confluence.

He is the producer of largest number of meaning full- short films. Bharat Mahotsav at Zurich by Confluence Won the Hearts

Zurich: Delhi based organisation Confluence under the leadership of Smita and Amitabh Srivastava celebrated 75 years of India’s Independence influenced by Prime Minister’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Zurich in Switzerland and impressed the swiss audience with the electrifying cultural programs.

The NGO has been organising these kinds of programs at different cities of India and abroad earlier also to highlight the history and culture of India. “The objective of the Zurich event was to promote the brand, Bharat, overseas and to hail the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat,” said Smita Srivastava founder and Chairperson of Confluence.

5th Global Fashion and Design Week Impressed Everyone

Noida: “Every great design begins with an even better story. Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future. I am happy our designers have actually researched well before reaching to the conclusion. This time we have touched 52 countries where 200 designers are presenting 700 garments out of their collection,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Festival on the third and the last session of second day of festival at Noida Film City.

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Design what can be wearable on regular or on occasion,” added Sandeep Marwah.

The extra ordinary collection of the designers was presented on the ramp which was liked by every person present there. Sanjana Kaushik showcased the garments influenced by the country of Papua New Guinea, Sanjana Jha took the initiative from the flora and fauna from Sudan, Komal Tyagi influenced by the art and culture of Egypt, Bilal Azhar opted for the country of Lebanon, Charu Kirti & Samreen Syed presented their art work in the shape of garments from Cyprus, Vanishika Jain showed designs from Nepal, Urvashi Bajpai prepared the garments touched by Iran, Anshita Thakur opted to cover fascinating collection from Czech Republic, Simran Pandey again projected collection from Lebanon and the last round was by Shikhar Saxena where India was highlighted,

A dairy designed by Ayushi Bharti was released by the dignities. Vinod Kumar Verma Vice President Aditya Birla Group, Daniel Voznak Embassy of Czech Republic, Laila Mostofi from Iran, Ankit Nagpal Director Bang on Target PR Media Solution, also spoke on the occasion. Great Grand Opening of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week

Noida: Enthusiasm, Zest and excitement could be seen with colorful decoration at Noida Film City inviting fashion and design lovers to one of the biggest extravaganza of fashion and design at Marwah Studios.

The international flags and their colors, stalls, decorated entrances are enough to recognize the strength of this fashion carnival designed by International Film And Television club in association with AAFT School of Fashion And Design supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. The third festival has grown bigger with 750 dresses, 200 designers, 85 models, 8 exhibitions, 9 seminars, 49 countries, 85 rounds in 9 fashion shows,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

“What a grand show, what a display, what a presentation. Never seen such an interesting gala fashion show. These kind of cultural events bring unity into the people of many countries,” said H.E. Michael A.A. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India at the inauguration of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019.

“I am amazed to note that a unique display of dresses by Azerbaijan are the part and parcel of this fashion week. It has raised the level of our friendship,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“I am honored to the part of this spectacular fashion and design week. A lot has been done to project so many countries at the same time,” said Dr. Abdelrazeg Abu Jazer Counsellor Embassy of State of Palestine.

Renowned designers like Parantap Shekhar, Vikas Kumar, Simran Kaur Malhotra shared their vast experience of the industry to who’s who of fashion and design industry present there along with the design students from all over India and abroad.

Dignities released the design directory of passing out students of degree and diploma students of AAFT Fashion and Design School. A coffee table book prepared by Ruchica Bhardwaj was also released.

The event was followed by a grand fashion show of dresses inspired by the international committees at School. Designers like Pooja Rani showcased the design range of garments from Poland, Priya Sharma of Serbia, Dipti Tripathi of Azerbaijan, Runita Malhotra from Cyprus, Shivi Agarwal of Slovenia, Divya Gautam of Senegal, Jyoti Ranjan & Keertika Pant of Lebanon, Maithli Oberoi & Simran Suri of Lesotho, Nikhil Kumar from Hungary and Rashika Mushra & Surbhi Khandelwal range of clothes were influenced by Ghana. The festival was arranged under the leadership of Ritu Lal festival director.

Earlier an exhibition of group paintings titled “Collection” was inaugurated by the guest of the day. The first day also saw the flag off ceremony of cycle ride   by Himanshu Kumar a record holder of Cyclothon propagating Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture.

Miss Multinational Pageant Awards Super Girls

New Delhi: The second edition of Miss Multinational Pageant came out with super awards for the participants from all over the world. The first three consisting of 2nd Runners Up went to Miss Algeria Nihed Markria, 1st Runners Up went to Miss Mexico Tania Mauricio and Miss Multinational won by Miss USA Daniela Nieto. “Miss Multinational is the beauty pageant with purpose. Every girl must indulge herself into one or another social work where a persuasion is required. Zimbabwe Honored at Entrepreneur Excellence Award

New Delhi: Lions Club Delhi Veg in association with ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry organized the welcome ceremony of H.E. G M Chipare, High Commissioner of Zimbabwe on the occasion of the Entrepreneur Excellence Awards 2020 on the pretext of World Day of Social Justice at Hotel Le Meridien.
