Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute has signed a contract with Grayquest, the leading educational loan company in India, to provide the most affordable educational loan in the country.

Grayquest will offer an educational loan at much cheaper rates compared to banks.

This contract will not only benefit new students for the 2024-25 session but also those who are currently studying in their second, third, and final years across various courses at the university/institute.

The CFO, Mr. Vikas Bhatia, shared this information along with the Chief Associate Director of Grayquest, Mr. Shishir Purohit Singh, at a press briefing.

It was fun writing lines for Shahrukh Khan, says Sumit Arora on Jawan

The movie has yet not been released but everyone associated with Jawaan is already basking in its success. Writer Sumit Arora who has written the Hindi dialogues for director Atlee’s Jawan is no expectation. He, during an interview, said that it was fun writing lines for Shahrukh Khan to match his ‘stardom and stature’.

Sumit Arora was born and brought up in Meerut and recently earned a lot of fame for his writing skills. He is enjoying the success of Dahaad and Guns & Gulaabs and with Jawaan set to release next Friday, it is his most awaited project.

When asked if Jawaan was the toughest gig for him, he says, “It was the most enjoyable project.”

“You have to keep in mind that the lines will be delivered by Mr Shah Rukh Khan so you have to keep lines that will justify his stardom and stature, his personality and character,” the writer added.

Sumit also talked about his mesmerization for the director Atlee. Atlee is known for his Tamil blockbusters Mersal and Bigil and makes mass films. With Jawan, Atlee is entering into the Bollywood landscape.

“I had met Atlee when he was thinking of making his first Hindi film. At that point, the idea was to work together, there was no story then. When he had the draft of the screenplay ready, he reached out to me. Nobody makes mass films like he does. I was happy to be part of this journey with him,” the writer said.

Arora also opened up about choosing writing as his career and said that thanks to his mother, he had aonstant exposure to Hindi literature. He also Harishankar Parsai, Sharad Joshi, Ravindranatha Tyagi, Shrilal Shukla and Manohar Shyam Joshi as his major inspiration for picking writing as a choice of career.

“I studied in a Hindi medium school. I didn’t know how to speak English. My mother gave me the habit of reading from an early age, I used to read stories from (magazines) like Nandan, theand n I graduated to literary magazines like Hans, Gyanodaya, and others. By the age of 17 and 18, I had columns published in Hindi newspapers. Satire was my forte,” Arora, a Hindi literature graduate, said recalling his formative years.

One such important event is the Lav Kush Ramlila which is staged by Lav Kush Ramlila Committee. The world-famous Lav Kush Ramlila that is held under Delhi's Red Fort ramparts commenced on Monday. Bollywood actor Asrani stole the show on opening day. The 'Sholay' actor played the character of Narad Muni as he mesmerised everyone with his performance. Like every year, the Lav Kush Ramlila witnessed a jam-packed Day 1 which enthralled and absorbed the audience at Red Fort. The committee will continue to host hundreds and thousands of people during the exuberant festivities of Dussehra in Delhi. Now, the winner of the battle is the original form of the plot. The second season feels more intense, action-packed and bloody.

The Mirzapur season received mixed reviews, however, the audience captured it. It remains to be seen how fans will react to the new season. At the moment, they are comfortable and enthusiastic enough for some excellent marketing through Amazon Prime Video.

The 11th season of the much-awaited Indian Premier League will begin on 6th April 2018.  

The opening ceremony of the tournament will take place on April 6 in Mumbai while the first match of the new season will be played at the same venue on April 7.

He further informed that the tournament will continue until May 27 with Mumbai once again hosting the final match.

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute inaugurated the Venkateshwara Youth Festival 2023, marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

SwamiJi was an inspiration for the youth, a legend who glorified the Indian culture all over the world.

The 3 day youth festival will have sports & cultural events, blood donation camps, traffic awareness, women empowerment along with over a dozen programs.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, & the VC Dr Rakesh Yadav inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati & by offering flowers on the portrait of SwamiJi.

In his address, Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated Swami Ji glorified the Indian culture on the world forum that established India as a world leader.

He inspired the youth to follow his ideals & work for the nation.

On the first day of the youth festival, we organized Unity run, Traffic awareness rally, and blood donation camp & tug-of-war events.

A human chain depicting the map of India reaffirmed our commitment to national unity & integrity. We also collected over 200 units of blood, showcasing our commitment to save lives.

Dr Rajeev Tyagi stressed that SwamiJi presented India as a world leader in the western world that increased the honour of the country.

No doubt Swami Vivekananda is a youth icon. We should follow his path of peace, harmony & world unity for becoming a global leader.

OBSERVANCE OF VIGILANCE AWARENESS MISSION (VAM) 2019 In order to promote Vigilance Awareness and strengthening the preventive vigilance mechanism, a function was held at PNB Corporate Office, Dwarka, New Delhi. The ceremony was chaired by the Hon’ble Central Vigilance Commissioner, Shri Sharad Kumar alongwith Shri P Daniel, Additional Secretary, CVC as Special guest. Besides other activities, such as inauguration of e-pledge Mission, social outreach through technological platforms for promoting the central theme of “Integrity – A way of Life”, the bank introduced technology based solutions through an online Preventive Vigilance (PV) portal, which is the first of its kind. The PV portal will facilitate all staff members across the organization to make invaluable contribution to arrest the procedural lapses, unhealthy practices and will usher in coherent climate conducive to the banking for the modern age. This portal will bring in efficiency and promote quality in operations at the forefront and will make every PNBian a “Vigilant PNBian”. Shri Venkateshwara University established a pink booth on the banks of the river Ganga to ensure the safety of women devotees during the Ganga Fair.

Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut have jointly established a pink booth on the banks of the river Ganga to ensure the safety of women devotees during bathing.

This is part of the women's empowerment initiative of the Venkateshwara Group.

Apart from this, the University officials conducted a 2 Km cleanliness drive on the Ganga bank as part of the Clean India Green India mission.

The students & female faculty members of the University presented an excellent play showcasing Growing India through women's empowerment that was appreciated by all.

Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor, led the team in distributing 10,000 eco-friendly bags to make the Ganga fair free of polythene.
