Did a quick Tumblr search and found nothing so gonna ask the Good Omens fandom at large...

Anyone else headcanon the theory that when Adam Young reset reality, that because he said Satan never was his father, thus making Arthur Young his father all along, that he also reset the lives of the humans who were directly involved?

And that's why Nina and Maggie are not Sisters Mary and Theresa?

Like, since Satan never was Adam's father The Order Of Chattering Nuns would have no purpose. Since there's no antiChrist to deliver in Adam's reset world, they were never founded for that purpose.

So instead of being Sister Theresa and Sister Mary they are Nina and Maggie instead.

It's timey whimey, but basically what if Adam uses the fact he exists with his powers to continue existing, but as something else, and hand waves away the parameters that made him exist as what he was originally ....

All to give Nina and Maggie a chance to figure it all out here and now....

From the DVD commentary, episode 1:

Neil: Nina [Sosanya, playing Sister Mary Loquacious] told me that she read Good Omens once a year, it was her happy place. And she really helped us in a strange way, to kind of nail the tone.

Douglas: Yeah, she was one of our very early auditions, and we didn't really... -did you know here before? I didn't know her before-

Neil: No.

Douglas: -and she came and... suddenly the acting tone was Good Omens. She took it seriously, she didn't make it comedy for laughs.

Neil: Yep.

Douglas: I just remember both of us seeing the audition and discovering, 'That's it, that's Good Omens in terms of acting tone'.

Neil: The problem we were having with auditions before that, is that actors would come in and they knew that it was funny and they saw the lines were funny, so they would play them for laughs, it would be comedic, and they would die. It just wasn't funny, it wasn't really anything, and then Nina gave us this honest performance and it was like, 'Oh, no, this is, this is Good Omens.'

Douglas: Yeah.
