B.C. man on run for a decade sentenced to 2½ years in jail for role in ‘tax protester’ scheme
A Richmond, B.C., man has been sentenced to 2½ years in jail for his role as part of a bogus tax evasion group that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has been after for nearly two decades. The CRA said in a release that Eric Ho — also known as Eric Siu-Kei Ho and Pat Lee — was sentenced in provincial court to 30 months and fined $122,367, the amount of taxes the agency said he evaded between 2004…

February 8, 2021
Welcome to the final part of the Introduction of Nijisanji. Thanks for going through all of them, if you did. It was pain to work with so much and so little. This part would cover everyone who has debuted in the year 2020.
Nijisanji IN 1st Gen
Aadya - The name means beautiful. 21 year old, who likes to play games and sing. Does dancing as a day job, so acts as a gaming nightingale. She has a knack for games in my cursory view, but that might be just the competitiveness.
Vihaan - The name means breaking dawn, kind of. Likes gaming very much, and plays them very loudly and complaining... which to be expected from this crew.
Noor - The name means light. Likes BL, coffee and beer, BL to the point she learned chinese from watching a BL drama. Basically a middle-aged man at heart, including a very nice husky voice. Does talks and games. Sings randomly and looks up to Rion, of all people. Ange mentioned her, Ange likes to mention foreign people.
Nijisanji KR 1st Gen
Min Suha - Knows the culture through their parents and has a nice voice. Sister Claire likes him, and who doesn’t? He’s freaking cool, man!
Shin Yuya - College student in virtual Seoul. Always has a smartphone at hand, does self-searching on a constant basis. Definitely has otaku knowledge, likes singing, drawing and cute things. Doesn’t like horror games, but played a lot on stream.
Plays a lot of different games, including FPS like Apex, and this is where she gets to collaborate with Japanese senpais, which is always fun to see.
Gaon - Originally Moarin’s brother, but Moarin left, so the lore changed. Has a twintail for attention purposes. Only member of Nijisanji KR to work as a job, but quit as the end of 2020. He’s pretty cool. Not nice, but definitely not a mean person either.
Han Chiho - He’s a time-displaced psychic, and so speaks with a high register. High register is usually seen as old, people don’t use it anymore, but it’s usually perfectly understandable... it’s an interesting quirk. Other than that, pretty normal streamer.
2020 Part 1 (Jan-Apr)
Furen E Lustario - During debut, expressed a liking choking oneself... so we know who we are dealing with. Has to add using fingers, as to illustrate her math prowess. But overall a fun person to watch, and has a pretty good variety of streams.
Melissa Kinrenka - Wants to be a songwriter, but still needs help. But she is a great singer, and can write and mix songs. Usually called Meli. Has a deep side, basically.
Ibrahim - Originally an oil prince, but now runs an onsen. Acts like a child at times due to his supposed past, and he is muslim, as the lore and name implies. But overall, fits right in with the child-like male of Nijisanji... kind of.
Nagao Kei - He’s an exorcist, but really does any job. Pretty good at all kinds of fighting. Pretty old in terms of human member at the age 26. Very much like Ibrahim, but much more bishonen, which melts a woman's heart. Oh, he’s good at learning stuff. Like he tries to learn morse code, and completely memorized the KTANE manual. Just to make Fumi, one of his seniors, happy for a while. That’s some big dedication.
Genzuki Tojiro - Works as a secretary for the gods. Has that unmatching haircut. Very good at making songs and does mixing for Nijisanji events.
Kaida Haru - A demon researcher, but too lazy. Quiet and nice voice leading the viewer to see him as a mother figure, but as you guess, he doesn’t like it due to the work. Oh, said a slur on stream but got banned less than Yumeoi, which is quite sus.
Nijisanji ID Gen 3
Azura Cecillia - An alien angel. Has a sword with a really long name, but calls it Chonsuke for short. She’s pretty cute and a little bit ditzy, from what I remember. Got mistaken as a boy, which is such an odd thing, but maybe it’s the deep voice?
Nara Haramaung - A princess of a tribe. Originally released as part of 1st gen, but got delayed here, but the gen mates fit together very well. Sings spontaneously sometimes.
Layla Alstroemeria - Time-traveling history major. Definitely more airheaded of the group and most child-like of the generation. But she’s pretty fun to watch, regardless.
Nijisanji KR Gen 2
So Nagi - Traveling virtual Japan, speaking fluent Japanese with a nice clear voice. Likes Ange Katrina, which she readily repriocates. Seen as the top seed in Nijisanji KR.
Lee Siu - A female kitsune, and yes from the same illustrator as Fubuki. Likes dad jokes and an endurance player and does speak three languages. Roha likes her. Occasionally can hear the apartment announcement, which is always a fun moment.
Chae Ara - She’s an angel, and a great singer. And likes to people-watch. Has a cute voice, and good at hosting. I really liked her in the streams that I watched. There’s something about her personality that speaks to me.
2020 Part 2 (May-August)
Sorahoshi Kirame - Made her name through twitter, and traded fan art with KR members. Has the same illustrator as Kanata. Couldn’t stream due to money purposes for four days, got his PC after a month of hard work. Overall a poor and diligent girl.
Asahina Akane - 1st year high-schooler. Very energetic and follow people well. Likes a Jpop band, and likes to travel as well. Also does a lot of collabs with senpais.
Suo Sango - The youngest member of the theater club, which is the theme of the latest generation. Has a wide range, and likes Sanrio and tomato. Very motherly calm voice.
Like girly anime, you know Pretty Cure and stuff. Likes western pop music as well.
Todo Kohaku - Third-year high schooler. Said she’s a lady, but she’s definitely just a normal girl. Had a good cover of Mela, and overall a decent streamer.
Kitakoji Hisui - Middle-school transfer student. Likes a lot of different things, but Minecraft is what she is most known for... I guess it makes sense.
Nishizono Chigusa - She’s the troublesome one of the theater group. Very frequently makes sexual quips. Also I thought she was a boy when I first saw her. Definitely my favorite of the newest group, and also did a stream with Matsuri as well.
And that actually has a history. You see this is not Chigusa’s first rodeo... as it is apparent, and during her previous life Matsuri and her did a sleepover, and was quite close as well... so this is actually a really nice reunion. I didn’t know that until now.
Nijisanji KR 3rd Gen
Nun Bora - A second-year high schooler, likes drawing and playing the recorder which she has a battle with So Nagi. Quick learner, apparently. Plays APEX and Fall Guys, but is competent in pretty much any game. Definitely top tier APEX player.
Akina Ray - Japanese streamer who streams in virtual Seoul. Does a morning talk show, likes baseball, since she’s from Hiroshima, and Shadowverse. She’s actually an art student and a meat lover. But overall, the most seiso art student of Nijisanji.
Lee Roha - Idol trainee from outer space, a mixed race. A bit of a ditz, with the appropriate thumbnails. Streams in Japanese on YouTube, in Korean on Twitch. Does a lot of League of Legend on twitch, and does evening piano stream. Likes Lee Siu.
Nijisanji ID 4th Gen
Etna Crimson - Half supernatural, likes to make everyone happy. Definitely not Amber from Genshin Impact, because Amber is Kizuna Ai. Okay, bad joke. Yeah, she’s good.
Bonnivier Pranaja - Originally a fisher, but quit after being swindled. Usually appears with KR streams, actually. Maybe likes Hana? Who knows.
Siska Leontyne - Security officer for shady company. Pretty good at games involving killing... make sense considering her profession. Pretty cool and laid-back.
Nijisanji KR 4th Gen
Ryu Hari - Likes to collect nightmares, likes reading and playing the electric guitar.
Shin Kiru - A 25-year old NEET, has an odd way of speaking and strange topics. Likes Rock and horror movies. He seems pretty laid-back as well.
Yang Nari - 19-year old girl from a different world who now lives in the countryside. Pretty good at hosting with her cute voice. Likes sewing, and talks in high status. She has a thing of suffering, and that kind of comes out from lore.
Oh Jiyu - She’s a female vtuber, although she looks and sounds boyish. Third-year college student representative. Speaks Korean and Japanese, and like gacha and also singing... so maybe a boyish Suisei? I’m sure she’s more normal, though.
Nijisanji ID 5th Gen
Nagisa Arcinia - Wannabe fashion designer, speaks a bunch of languages... but that’s normal for ID... yeah, she’s cute and might be a little psychopathic. Typical.
Derem Kado - 16 year old girl going to magical school, always looking for a cat, but a special cat that makes contracts and stuff. High pitched scares and gets lost.
Reza Avanluna - He’s a world chronicler, he visits and chronicles worlds in his dreams. Has a ship going on with Hana, I think? I’m not sure. Please correct this, if untrue.
There you go! All 139 extant members as of February 8th, 2021, which is the third anniversary of Nijisanji... that was a long post... even though it was in three parts. Sorry for filling the days with this... I have been busy with collecting data and so on. But I hope you have a good inkling of the landscape that is Nijisanji.

EIGHTH ANNUAL HAWAIIAN KINGDOM PATRIOT AWARDS ANNOUNCED
Tumblr media
Koani Foundation Recognize Patriots Andre Perez & Michael Lee
The Koani Foundation has announced its eighth annual Hawaiian Kingdom Patriot Awards honoring two Hawaiian Kingdom patriots today Friday, July 31st at Thomas Square in Honolulu.
The awards presentation took place at 10:00 AM in front of the statue of Kamehameha III at Thomas Square as part of a daylong observance of La Ho`iho`i Ea, Hawaiian Sovereignty Restoration Day.
Andre Perez and the late Michael Kumukauoha Lee are the 2020 honorees.
Mauna Kea kia`i or protector Andre Perez is being honored in recognition for his critical leadership in protecting Mauna Kea from the construction of the Thirty Meter Telescope. Andre is being given the Living Patriot Award.
The late kumu and kahu Michael Kumukahuola Lee is being honored with the posthumous award for his work in protecting Hawaiian sacred places such as Kaho`olawe and burial sites; the environment from the mountains to the sea.
“Andreʻs leadership, along with others, was key in protecting Mauna Kea, the most sacred `aina or land in all of Hawai`i and stopping the Thirty Meter Telescope from being built and desecrating the Mauna,” states Koani Foundation director Leon Siu.
“Michaelʻs life work was protecting ancient Hawaiian burial grounds as well as Hawai`iʻs precious limu (seaweed) and our pueo (Hawaiian owl) which hold such significance for our culture.”
“We owe both Andre and Michael our profound mahalo for their passion and lifetime dedication and both are examples of what it means to live oneʻs life as Hawaiian Kingdom patriots,” added Siu.
Hawaiian Sovereignty Restoration Day marks July 31,1843 when British Admiral Richard Thomas ordered the Union Jack lowered and the Hawaiian Kingdom flag hoisted above Honolulu, ending five months of British occupation and restoring the sovereignty of the Hawaiian Kingdom government to legitimate power.

Exercising Demons, Wing Chun Kung Fu, and Self-Care!
As of this week, I had suddenly felt the vibes to write another blog post again. This time, I am happy to share with you not only the feeling that I could happily take the bus and train alone via a Grab ride alone but the feeling of going to a random gym to continue my further training.
Without depending on a personal trainer, I went to the Blitz Gym at SS15 to do my own training. Just like the other day I did my training at OUG Gym in Old Klang Road, I trained for an insane 4 hours which was actually worth it.
NO PAIN, NO GAIN!
Tumblr media
Lately, as though I missed going to the gym in Shah Alam, I changed my gym to OUG Gym every Mondays before Wing Chun Kung Fu class, and Blitz Gym in SS15 every Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while I was suggested that Thursday is supposed to be my rest day. Throughout the self-training without my personal trainer, within the four hours of my time in the gym, all I focused was on my cardio, biceps, triceps, back, chest, leg, and abs. With all the workouts I was unfamiliar with, I asked other attendants nearby to teach me so that I could learn effectively.
Alright.
So, speaking of Wing Chun Kung Fu, I have been practicing the martial art for a good four months now. I joined since July, and so far I had to keep up with the basics and the small concept, which they call it the Siu Lim Tao (小念头). My sifu, Alex Yap (Sifu Yap) and his wife seem to notice that I haven’t been practicing much. I understood that I had to keep my personal issues out of my practice, ever since I was very passionate and serious about being a martial artist and following Bruce Lee, my grandmaster’s footsteps. (LONG STORY)
As I was training in class, Sifu Yap and his wife got me to do a “special”, yet I call it intense training to train my horse stance. Sifu Yap’s wife has taught me to do my Yeung Ma (or the horse stance) the proper way. Instead of jumping, she told me that my feet must always sweep the ground and never slouch. If I slouched, I would be whipped on my leg as a punishment until I was asked to do the proper way. I did not react to it, I wasn’t scared after all.
Tumblr media
As after I did my horse stance with sweeping on the ground instead of jumping, Sifu’s wife taught me to pretend like I was sitting in a halfway chair, and focus on staring at my great great great grandmasters’ photos.
(On a side note, before getting to know Ip Man the grandmaster, Bruce Lee was my idol ever since I was 12. I bought his two books: Chinese Gung Fu: The Philosophical Art of Self Defense and Bruce Lee’s Fighting Method)
Tumblr media
When I always get into the class, I saw most of my grandmasters’ pictures hanging on the wall, and besides, Sifu once introduced me to the grandmaster that trained him, whose name is Samuel Kwok, based in Great Britain.
As I was doing my horse stance correctly, I stared at Ip Man’s portrait and the film poster which starred Donnie Yen, which I longed to watch as a twelve-year-old as I did not have the time. Whereas, when Sifu and his wife were away, their son, my senior Simon was monitoring if I did get distracted or slouched on the floor. I did slouched for a while, therefore, my slouching habit broke immediately as I swept the ground. Sifu’s wife was happy, as she told me
“Don’t be like Pinnochio, be as relaxed as your teddy bear!”
“Don’t be like that puppet that grows his long nose!”
Hearing this, I felt much empowered, so I continued to stand until class ended late. With the words from Sifu’s wife and Sifu Yap, I was very much excited to get back to training again. Whereas, I had to keep progressing with my Siu Lim Tao and to break the habit of slouching in the public, not really just in class.
If you cannot do things properly, how can you act for the person?
This seemed to make me motivated to practice more and to consistently exercise so that I could aim to be the person I become today, as though I still battle with dysphoria, depression, and anxiety myself. And speaking of Pinnochio, all I ever do is to be honest with myself as I was to others. I would always honestly speak up what is in my mind instead of bottling shit up. Therefore, telling the wrong people will land you into the bigger trouble.
Furthermore in Wing Chun, everything is relaxed instead of being tensed up like a puppet. Sifu has changed my life from being bad-tempered and pessimistic to a man of modesty, gentle in his manners, and practicing spiritual tranquility and optimism. Sifu told me to look at the bright side of life instead of fighting with the people who do not deserve my attention. When I first met him, he told my mother that he saw potential in me, that I can be a great martial artist until I could compete in Hong Kong for the championship. However, a championship is too far to talk about as of now, because consistent practice and the willpower is the key to success. As I read in Jackson Ng’s book, The New You, I was taught that success is never an easy walk in the park. Indeed, it is a tough journey and when you get familiar with the struggles and become strong, it gets easy. I realized that this is resilience. Instead of suicidal and negative thoughts, I choose to start caring for myself physically, emotionally, and mentally, so that I could stand up and start caring for myself and for others.
Also, as I have read two chapters of the book so far, I was learning more about the differences between the eagle and the chicken. From now on, I would rather be seeing changes/failures as opportunities than to give up easily. Being a practitioner in Wing Chun, it’ll not be easy; therefore, the more I could get familiar, it will get easier.

Andre Perez & Michael Lee Honored
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Koani Foundation Director Leon Siu Presents The Awards To Andre Perez (Top) & Peter Lee (Bottom) On Behalf Of The Late Michael Lee
The Koani Foundation awarded its eighth annual Hawaiian Kingdom Patriot Awards honoring two Hawaiian Kingdom patriots yesterday Friday, July 31st at Thomas Square in Honolulu.
Mauna Kea kia`i or protector Andre Perez was honored in recognition for his critical leadership in protecting Mauna Kea from the construction of the Thirty Meter Telescope. Andre was given the Living Patriot Award.
The late kumu and kahu Michael Kumukahuola Lee was honored with the posthumous award for his work in protecting Hawaiian sacred places such as Kaho`olawe and burial sites; the environment from the mountains to the sea.
“Andreʻs leadership, along with others, was key in protecting Mauna Kea, the most sacred `aina or land in all of Hawai`i and stopping the Thirty Meter Telescope from being built and desecrating the Mauna,” stated Koani Foundation director Leon Siu.

Discover the anarchic fun of this genre-defying Hong Kong blockbuster
There is a scene some way into Ricky Lau’s Mr Vampire where Taoist priest Master Kau (Lam Ching-ying) is invited to a “Western tea” by the wealthy businessman Master Yam (Huang Ha). Unfamiliar with Western practices, Kau decides to bring his foolish apprentice Man-choi (Ricky Hui) along, hoping that Man-choi’s ignorance will distract from his own.
The teahouse scene is a comedy of errors. Unable to read the English-language menu, both men choose ‘coffee’ after they hear Yam’s sophisticated daughter Ting-ting (Moon Lee) order the same – but then they are not sure which of the black beverage or the accompanying white liquid is the actual coffee, or how to drink either. When served “custard pies, flown in straight from England”, Kau and Man-choi cover the delicacies – which they imagine are savoury – in cream and sugar.
This whole comic sequence depends for its laughs on the sort of cross-cultural clashes and misunderstandings which are in fact woven into the very texture of Lau’s film. For much as the priest and his student must contend, hilariously, with another nation’s conventions for which they are entirely ill equipped, the viewer, too, will be bewildered by Lau’s crazy pick-and-mix mismatch of transnational horror tropes.
The English title may promise vampires, but really these are jiāngshī, reanimated corpses from Chinese folklore. They move about with a distinctive hopping motion, and are, despite their stiffness, deft at kung fu. They cannot detect those who hold their breath. They can be deterred by mirrors, glutinous rice or thread stained in ink and blood, and they can be stopped dead in their tracks by a dab of blood or a bloody parchment placed on their foreheads. They are destroyed with fire as much as with stakes (and sometimes with both).
In the film, the jiāngshī is Master Yam’s late father, disinterred to have his grave moved to a location with better feng shui, but in fact never fully dead. For all Kau’s ignorance of British tea rituals, he is an expert when it comes to jiāngshī, and frequently watches over an incapacitated group of them ‘in-house’ with his friend Priest Four Eyes (Anthony Chan). So Kau immediately recognises that Yam’s father, with his perfectly preserved body, is a jiāngshī, and takes over his safekeeping.
Owing to the antics of Man-choi and his fellow student Chau-sang (Chin Siu-ho), however, the jiāngshī escapes his coffin, and goes on a feeding rampage. Kau is on the case, but he must also contend with Jade (Wong Siu-fung), a succubus-like spirit determined to sap the sexual energy of Chau-sang. Meanwhile clownish, craven local policeman Wai (Billy Lau) is more hindrance than help in bringing under control all these supernatural entities.
In another key scene in the film, everyone’s lives are endangered when a rice salesman adulterates his glutinous rice with the long grain variety (the latter, unlike the former, having no effect on jiāngshī). Mr Vampire itself, however, revels in such adulteration, mixing and matching with wild abandon scenes of knockabout comedy, wire-wrought martial arts, monster horror and wacky dancing.
The film may be named after a vampiric spirit, but it happily throws in for good measure a sexy ghost who can use her own disembodied head as a means of attack. While most of the paranormal activity comes with Eastern underpinnings, outside influences are also let in. The pair of holes that the jiāngshī leaves in his victims’ necks may in fact be caused by his long fingernails, but he and the film’s other jiāngshī still sport the iconic elongated fangs of a Western vampire and, in another nod to Western vampirology, pass on their condition to anyone whose qi, or life energy, they have absorbed.
When Man-choi and Ting-ting try to conceal themselves from the jiāngshī, their chosen hiding place – a closet with slatted doors – owes as much to the inspiration of John Carpenter’s Halloween as of anything from Chinese folklore.
Along with Sammo Hung’s Encounters of the Spooky Kind from 1980, Mr Vampire (produced by Hung) created a craze in Hong Kong for jiāngshī comedies, spawning a popular series of loose sequels, as well as other films featuring Lam Ching-ying as a monobrowed exorcist.
The gags here can be hit and miss, although native English speakers will find the “European dub”, crammed with absurdist meta jokes and a carnivalesque sense of anarchic fun, much more entertaining than either the rather staid and stuffy American dub or the subtitles accompanying the original Cantonese version.
Mr Vampire is available on Blu-ray in a new 2K restoration from Eureka! Home Video on 20 July

In social media, hashtags, also known as the pound sign #, are often used to categorise content in different areas. Adding a hashtag can develop a social network in a certain topic and establish a communication platform between people. A series of event “#city”,participants brings the virtual “#” to reality. They transformed an ageing community Sham Shui Po into different “#” and presented the historical community network of Sham Shui Po to the public tangibly. While today’s society uses hashtag as a reference tool, there was another application of hashtag in Hong Kong. Back to the 1960s in Hong Kong, different kinds of buildings were aligned with one another. Therefore the “#” shaped community was formed. However, these kind of neighbourhood is no longer being built and likewise the connection between neighbours are fading because of the revitalisation. The idea of #city is to reconstructed the connection between people as formerly found in the “#” communities. Hence the symbol “#” was created for the visual identity of #city programme. The positive and negative spaces of “#” are representing the streets and buildings. Thus, developed a whole set of bitmap font to represent the community image of Sham Shui Po. Participants are encouraged to explore the residential area in Sham Shui Po and collecting data with a transparent bags which the visual identity is printed over, it walks with participant and shows their researches and design processes directly. A set of 4 posters is designed for the #city exhibition. Fabric is chosen as the media to echo the fabric market of Ki Lung Street, Sham Shui Po. The fabric posters are hanging on the street sign to promote the up coming pop-up event of the street installations and the follow-up exhibition to the neighbours and visitors. Special Thanks: Javin Mo, Andrew Wong, Janett Wang, Bob Pang, Kevin Siu, Shuyan Chan

Where To Find Vegas' Best Culinary Imports
Tumblr media
There’s no shortage of places to eat in Vegas. But a lot of it, well, can be a gamble. (Pun fully intended.) But while Vegas-founded eateries and buffets can be very, very good, sometimes you gotta pull out some big moves — as in, hit up a restaurant that originated in another city…or country, even. Looking to enhance your dining experience? Check out a cannabis store in las vegasbefore your next big meal. Ahead, a crib sheet to some of the best culinary imports to set up shop in Vegas so far.
A Foodie’s Guide to Las Vegas
Bavette’s
A Chicago import, Bavette’s is a take on a French steakhouse, complete with ribeyes and those oh-so-classic steakhouse sides. This carnivore-pleasing option is the Vegas debut for Brendan Sodikoff, the restaurateur behind Windy City burger-slinging hotspot Au Cheval. Bavette’s is located at the Park MGM Hotel and opened in late 2017 with a late-night, retro feel that harkens back to the Gilded Age. Turns out, Vegas likes its steak like it likes its sin — to order.
Carbone at Aria
If you’ve been to the lauded, O.G. Carbone in NYC from Major Food Group’s Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick, you know it’s a particular kind of scene — it’s as if you went back in time to a bygone era of glamour, where you half expect Frank Sinatra to be chowing down at the next table (you’ll likely hear him crooning on the soundtrack) and the menu is filled with amazing Italian-American favorites. Carbone in Las Vegas, located at the ARIA Resort & Casino, expands on that experience by taking some cues from the famously over-the-top city (and the space). With more tableside service than its New York counterpart, the Las Vegas location also features two private dining rooms available for booking. The menu? Well, that remains very similar in both locations — thankfully.
Momofuku
Located in The Cosmopolitan, David Chang’s New York-based Momofuku brand got an outpost in Las Vegas in early 2017, the first on the West Coast, and serves a constantly evolving menu for lunch and dinner. For an afternoon snack or late-night eats, you’ll head to their adjacent Peach Bar, where you can pick from a curated menu of favorites. Pssst…it’s also adjacent to an outpost of Milk Bar (dessert maven Christina Tosi’s sweets-centric part of the Momofuku empire), just like the New York original.
Rao’s
You can never get a seat at Rao’s New York (unless you know the right people), but in Las Vegas, you can actually snag a table. Located within the sprawling Caesar’s Palace, Rao’s takes its cues from the original location with dark wood tables, booths, and red leather. Menus are famously absent from the original location, but that’s not the case with the Las Vegas outpost, where you’ll find all of Rao’s signature dishes, including the meatballs (they’re huge) and veal parmesan.
Mott 32
The famed Cantonese restaurant based out of Hong Kong has made its way to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and it is beautiful and delicious. The spot is co-led by Mott 32’s group executive chef and two-star Michelin winner Man-Sing Lee and Vegas-based head chef Alan Ji, and the signature dishes on the menu include Apple Wood Roasted Peking Duck with Mott 32’s “Signature Cut,” Iberico Pork with Soft Quail Egg and Black Truffle Siu Mai, and Crispy Triple Cooked Wagyu Beef Short Ribs. Definitely order something off the cocktail menu, which features some unique Asian-based liqueurs and garnishes, and take a gander at the décor, designed by Joyce Wang, which gives a nod to Las Vegas with elements like a dining table made out of a vintage Roulette wheel. (Wang also designed both the Hong Kong and Vancouver Mott 32.)
Yardbird
The Vegas outpost for this soul food staple, which got its start in Miami in 2011, can be found in The Venetian and straight up shouldn’t be missed. Brunch is key here, so make yourself some reservations and don’t forget to order the Chicken ’n’ Watermelon ’n’ Waffles, one of the most beloved dishes on their menu and among the best you can get on the strip, period. Elsewhere on the menu, which is similar to other locations such as those in Singapore and Los Angeles, you can find a fried green tomato BLT, shrimp and grits, and some classic buttermilk biscuits that are just so good.
Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer
Also located at The Venetian, the New York-based burgers and shakes spot is the ultimate Instagram-worthy restaurant. Started by Chris Barish and head chef/partner Joe Isidori, the Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer has taken on a life of its own — thanks in part to their shakes. The CrazyShake milkshakes are monstrous and loaded with goodies that would make any 5-year-old (and grown adult) clap with glee. The burgers are flipped once, harkening back to the good ol’ days of a true, great diner burger, and each location features regional brewers for craft beers to keep it local. Basically, it’s just a really good burger place. That’s the highest accolade there is, right?

Cloud Pavilion
25 May–3 June 2016
Plaza Sai Van Lake
Macau SAR China
A collaboration between architecture students from the University of Saint Joseph and media students
from City University of Hong Kong, the Cloud Pavilion was a temporary structure located at the edge of
Sai Van Lake, Macau. It used a tensegrity structure constructed from bamboo rods, steel cables, and fabric
panels, which acted as dispersed screen for a video mapping installation. The structure comprised 174 one-
meter-long bamboo rods, 250 meters of galvanized steel cable, 1000 steel-wire cable clips, 100 stainless
steel turnbuckles, and 18 meters of white stretch fabric. The opening night featured live performances by a
number of Macau-based dancers. By applying advanced digital techniques to vernacular construction
methods, the pavilion is intended to be small-scale reinterpretation of Macau’s historical building culture
while simultaneously responding to the iconic architectural forms and dynamic lighting effects that define
the city’s contemporary visual identity.

Concentrate on creating lots of quality content for your site. If you want more natural search traffic, you need a factor for people to see your site, and that means providing free worth (ie, fantastic content). Attempt to solve issues or respond to concerns that your target market has. If you re questioning whether your content suffices after that ask yourself: Would you proudly recommend it to your buddy as a high quality source if they concerned you with an inquiry?  3. I concentrate on ideas or methods that are effective As Well As make the very best use of sources, consisting of the material you already have. Right here goes:.  Update your existing content?? Existing web content already has authority and also a recognized audience. So instead of creating something entirely from square one, locate a blog post currently performing well, revitalize it with upgraded info, include visuals, and count on existing signals to make it rate for terms.   Enhance engagement to enhance rankings. Take your existing content as well as make it much more readable?? break up any type of huge blocks of message, splitting material up with headers, bullet factors.   Concentrate on topics rather than key phrases?? The produce fantastic web content and also earn wonderful web links recommendations has actually been covered sufficient for now, consisting of by me. So my best item of less-obvious Search Engine Optimization guidance is: either concentrate on a narrow specific niche, or start using a truly odd solution (or product or widget). The weirder as well as more particular niche, the far better.  If you re the only company, or local one, or the initial one, you can get some easy rankings, website traffic that consists of individuals with a particular and also instant requirement, as well as occasionally even a few very easy web links. Likewise, some individuals will come for the odd little solution as well as remain for the more-mainstream service( s) you provide?? for which your rankings and visibility possibly aren t so excellent. Go a little off the beaten track.
